The chicken is great! They have half off chicken only every Tuesday. For less than $20 you could easily feed 2-4 people. My only problem is it took over 40 minutes. They had 5 people working and it wasn't very busy. The kid gave me my food to go and forgot the garlic bread. He told me he gave it to someone else. It took another 10 to get that fixed. Just got my first order delivered from Pizza Chalet. I really wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Their pizza crust is really good....thin and crispy but with a nice bit of chewiness. Good topping/cheese to crust ratio. I also got the Roast Beef Dip sandwich....it's real roast beef, Ortega chilies, mozzarella cheese, and au jus for dipping. It was so good! And then there's the Bro Jo's potatoes...crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside... amazing little flavor bombs. I was expecting they'd come with ranch for dipping, but they really don't need anything to enhance their flavor. I'm very impressed and will definitely order from Pizza Chalet again. read more

5 stars today for the incredible value!! Heading back home after camping in the area and saw this place so decided to head in. The prices were very reasonable and we didn't have super high expectations as it looked like a "chain" pizza and chicken place we have been to before but aren't "great". To say we were surprised was an understatement! The salad bar had a large variety of items and the staff did a good job keeping it clean and full (but might want to NOT put the beets behind the pudding IJS). Arcade games were poorly maintained.Almost all of the games were either broken or empty of tickets. It was near closing time and I will admit that it was getting late. But we were pretty much pushed out the door at 9PM when the hours on almost all of their marketing says 10pm. The staff grew more and more pushy to get the party out of the door. The chicken is not the same as when Mark owned Johnny's Chicken and sold his recipes to Pizza Chalet. The Chalet started strong with their preparation of the chicken the way Mark did it, but it's ending weak. The mashed potatoes are too runny, the coleslaw does not have the same flavor and I can use the biscuits as hockey putts. I understand the costs going up but a chicken meal is $6.99 for the sides...mashed potatoes, a side, and a biscuit, plus the price of the chicken per piece. Who sells chicken meals in this manner? The service at The Pizza Chalet is great though. I'm kinda sad as we used to love the chicken. Shopping for another place with great broasted chicken! read more

Horrible experience. We made reservations for a soccer banquet, that was somehow lost. Then the manager tells me that I would have to wait for the whole team to arrive before they would take my order for two pizzas, after my team arrived he changed the agreement to only honor half of the order. I didn't really care about having to pay for the second pizza, but the manager accused me of fraud (by asking me how was he to know that I wasn't some guy off the street trying to scam 2 pizzas off him (I don't know, maybe because I had a AYSO voucher, and my team of little boys in their Soocer shirts surrounding me while you accused their couch of fraud!) then he went on to say that there was no possibility of his staff (made up of mostly 16 year olds) could have lost my reservation, and that I was lieing. He demanded to know who took my reservation... but failed to even give his name. I told him none of his employees wore name tags, and I wasn't expecting to be interrogated upon arvival. So after paying for the second pizza, a tomateoless sauce calzone because my son is severely allergic to tomatoes (which was filled with tomateo sauce), a couple of salad bars, and some beers for the adults, we went to the salad bar. The the salad bar consisted of limp, soggy, pieces of frozen lettuce, and gross bits of food scattered into the different containers, we were treated to an hour wait for the pizza. The other tables that got there 20 minutes after us were served with a smile, our pizza was dropped onto the table with an eye roll thrown in for that extra bit of service. The bathrooms were filthy, with used toilet paper all over the floor. I bought each of my players 6 dollars in tokens for the games, half of which were out of tickets. All this because of a unprofessional manager who appeartly knows very little about business or how to treat customers in the food service industry. If I were the owner I'd fire this amature. However, I was told that they weren't allowed to give the owner's contact information out, so there's no way to tell him. Plausible deniability no doubt. For the price of a 7 dollar pizza he lost 6 families from ever patronizing this pizza joint. I made sure all the parents were aware of the situation before the evening concluded. It was just a aweful experience overall. It should have been an easy, fun time, but they went out of their way to make it a nightmare. I urge you to stay away from this pit. It's a bad sign when the owner tells his employees not to allow his customers to contact him. Shameful establishment. This happened on Thursday at 5pm October 3, 2016. read more

Cons: -crummy pizza. Other items such as pasta are little to be desired. -original wings changed and are terribly dinky now. Hot sauce and BBQ are all that's offered. -prices are high. -medium drinks are almost $3. -takes too long to clear the tables.
