For Brownwood, this is & has always been my FAVORITE place for pizza! The Sampler is always my go-to!! I'm only sad that they no longer have all the seafood additions!! Everything is still perfect about it!! As there is no seating available, I always call ahead for their drive thru pick up!! We ordered pizza from here couple days ago. It was the worst pizza I have ever eaten! The crust was like cardboard, it was hard to chew! Im not going back ever! So guess no more pizza for me in brownwood because I've tried the others and not good either although the other places are not as bad as this one!!! read more

THEY ONLY TAKE CHECKS OR CASH!! This appears to be a Mom and Pop type of place with nice people. I don't called and ordered a thin crust medium pizza with olives, mushrooms and green pepper for pick up. It's a small shop and I did not see any seating. To be fair, I picked up the pizza about 30 minutes after it was ready so that might have affected the crust - it was chewy, kinda like the old Chef Boyaredee pizza crust kit (look it up, kids). Mushrooms were from a can but the sauce was decent. The most important thing is that when I called to place the order, nothing was disclosed about their payment restrictions. I showed up, offering a credit card, and the nice lady said, "Oh we only take cash or checks!" Luckily I had some cash on me, but this is ABSOLUTELY something a business should tell you when ordering!! Not cool!!! I also checked google reviews and nothing was said about cash/checks. Overall, I'm here for a few days and will probably pass this place up next time I roll through Brownwood. read more

Absolutely love this place. The pizza is my favorite in town. I always order the large supreme. His crust is unlike anything you'll get unless your from the east coast. Covered with flower on the bottom and the texture is great. My son also loves his sandwiches- preferably the Italian or brisket. Both are good. read more

All you people that rated this place high owe me a refund....over $20 for the smallest large and amall pizzas I ever seen. Wife brought it home and I asked her if that was a joke!! Told her it better be the best pizza ever for that price at that size...the crust tasted like store bought...couldnt tell if there was sauce or cheese on it. One of my favorite pizza's anywhere comes from this unassuming little yellow shack on Coggin Ave in Brownwood. It's a small operation, so it takes patience. Sometimes they close early. Sometimes they aren't open when you really really want it. Yes these sound like negatives...maybe you shouldn't bother....maybe it's not worth your time....or maybe I'm tricking you so you won't get between me and my pizza's space in the oven!! Let me start by saying, we are not from Brownwood. We are here visiting my husband's family, namely his 91 year old mom & his uncle who isn't much younger. We are usually stuck eating at horrible places like the section hand, the yellow wagon wheel, underwood's and the one Asian buffet in town. They have the places they go that they think are good and we usually cater to what they want. Well like a lot of seniors, they didn't want to eat dinner so I asked hubby to stop at this "Pizza Company" on his way back to the hotel and grab us a pizza. I have to admit he was a little perturbed when he got to the hotel because the pizza took 30 minutes (he didn't order until he got there) but that ALL went away when he tasted the pizza! OMGoodness! We would be in BIG trouble if we had this pizza shop in our town! I don't really even like pizza because I don't eat much bread or cheese, which is why I picked this place over one of the chain stores in town. We got a pizza that was about the size of a medium at the chain stores and yes, it cost about $15, but it was off the hook good! The meat is high quality, it wasn't greasy (another reason I don't like pizza), there's usually more bread than toppings and too much cheese. This hit all my buttons for an excellent pizza! I'm seriously thinking about going there, ordering a few to take home and freeze so I can have them later! Unfortunately, we living NE of Houston and I'd have to go buy a cooler for the trip so I'll pass this time, but I may bring a cooler on our next visit. Thank you to all the yelppers who rated this Pizza Company! We would have never tried them if it hadn't been for all of the reviews! PROS: Delicious pizza, probably the best I've ever had, anywhere! Didn't even mix the dough for the crust until hubby ordered the pizza. CONS: Expect it to take some time to make, but it's worth it! Doesn't take anything but cash. Hard to find. Hubby was looking for it at night and they have no exterior lights. A little more expensive, but again WORTH IT! They don't deliver. read more

Who ever posted most of these reviews, must be family members or friends. Store bought is better then this. Pile the meat on they do! Trying to get you to forget how bad the rest is. Poor pizza size for a large first off, cheese is cheap, sauce taste like prego. Sorry guys you missed the mark in my book. I had put off trying this place because of the condition of the outside of the house. After hearing several people saying that they had good Pizzas, I gave in and ordered one. Well that was a mistake. I ordered a Supreme without knowing what was on it. I assumed it would be much like most other Supreme pizzas. All it had on it was a large amount of what appeared to be ground beef(unseasoned), very small pieces of red and green peppers, but only a few, a few green olives, very small amount of cheese and sauce. I now know that you can judge a place by it's cover. Bad looking house and bad Pizza. read more
