Ambience = The church side has awesome ambience, although it feels a tad cramped. But it's a pretty cool setting for an italian restaurant. The "pizza parlor" side feels more spacious but also more like a typical pizza restaurant. It's fine. Location/parking = Location's near downtown but has plenty of parking down the street. They are basically kings on their block -- not really any other parking competition nearby.

On the second visit, I ordered a pepperoni, onion, and mushroom pizza. When I received the order, black olives had been added without my request. After eating the pizza, I became ill. On the third visit, I placed the same order again, and this time Canadian bacon was added without my consent. After this third error, I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, who was unprofessional and dismissive. I was told I would be credited $30, but the overall handling of the situation was disappointing. At this point, my concern goes beyond the credit. Repeated order inaccuracies, long wait times, and poor management response have made it clear that this location does not prioritize accuracy or customer service. Frankly, I would rather pay more elsewhere than continue to have these experiences. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that these issues are addressed, particularly with order accuracy and management professionalism.

The ambiance inside is straight-up opulent too -- crystal chandeliers dripping like diamonds, stone walls, red leather booths, and that massive framed vintage Beech 18 airplane photo that hits different. Speaking of which... My best friend Rob took one look at that classic twin-prop Beech 18 on the wall and the hairs on his arms stood straight up. Turns out he actually flew one of those exact legends back in the day. There's a killer story behind it -- ask the staff about it, they'll hook you up with the full tale. Goosebumps guaranteed. GM Lisa came in hot on the 4th of July, straight from the sister property Sierra, working like a boss and being the friendliest, most knowledgeable human alive. Absolute queen behavior. Service was really good too. Plan to spend money here. It's not inexpensive. You will pay for what you get. I would love to return here. This is a favorite restaurant of mine in Castle Rock.

On the flip side, my beef kabob was really tough again. Looking back at previous reviews, this seems to be a trend. I probably need to either just get the chicken or see if they'll let me sub another chicken for the beef. Speaking of beef, my wife usually gets and loves the beef shawarma. Not so much this time. It was really tough, and she said it tasted kind of burned too. Seems like this just shouldn't happen. Mental note for us...if possible, we should see if we can get them to hold the tomatoes from the salad, since neither of us like tomatoes.
