I'd seen the cute dragon signs for this place on I-49 whenever I drive to NWA, and since today was Appreciate a Dragon Day (Jan 16th), I figured I'd go check it out! I was surprised a pizza place hidden in the mountains offered cauliflower crust, but they did and it was pretty dang good! Wings were tasty too. They have shirts too with the dragon cooking a pizza with his fire breath!

Came two per order. Each one had a fair sized mushroom, some roasted red peppers and lettuce. The veggies were hot and were green beans, carrots and squash. The sandwich was so large that half came home in a box. The fries were really nicely done and were piping hot and crunchy on the ends. You know how unusual that is with sweet potato fries... as soon as they start to cool off they get soggy. Prices were a little high, but the server Jenny was excellent. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town. It is a sports bar and there were plenty of locals in there for lunch also.

Parking was great, right out front on the road in a great revitalized downtown area. Once inside, the waitress seated me and took my drink order. The menu choices all looked great. I asked for guidance from my waitress and she was very helpful! The special was the chicken fried steak and two sides and it looked good, but Big! Not wanting to eat that much she suggested the prime rib grilled cheese sandwich. Wow I had a salad, sandwich and sweet potato fries. I ate every bite and it was delicious! I would eat it again for sure. Being a sports bar there were plenty of sports to watch. The one thing that did catch my eye was a US flag with 48 Stars. Very cool! If you are ever in the friendly town of Van Buren, Arkansas, I highly recommend eating at The Vault. You will be glad you did. Go get Full

But it took nearly an hour for us to get our food. Now, at first, we were all very understanding: concert happening within walking distance, they're busy. I can easily have empathy for the staff. And our server was great! Really friendly. But it was when the manager came out and said there was an issue on their end causing the food to be delayed and they were currently remaking the order. That was frustrating. Even more frustrating was that their "solution" was to give us a coupon thing to get us to come back. We still paid full price for our meal. Nothing was taken care of, even the Dr. Pepper the manager said he'd refill never came. I may not have worked at a sit-down restaurant, but I have worked at quick food service spots, and when the establishment makes a mistake, the customer doesn't pay (except for alcohol). A nearly hour long wait over their mistake when we had a concert to get to for none of it to get covered? That's not getting me to come back. Neither is a coupon. Other than that, I'm sure it's fine if you like loud sports bars. Just wouldn't recommend going if you have anywhere to be within 2 hours of you being seated. Also worth mentioning that our server was great! Super friendly. Management could use a bit of retraining in how to keep people happy and manage being super busy.

Just annoying. We ended up sitting at the bar. You can tell it's a place for regulars that have no lives. The burger was OK could've used more seasoning. The truffle fries were the only decent thing.
