They're under new ownership now. I called the restaurant directly to place an order for an anchovy and pineapple pizza, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there they told me that they're out of anchovies and they tried calling me but it wasn't going through. They asked what other topping I'd want instead. I asked how long that would take. They said 5 minutes. How 20 minutes to make a pizza became 5 minutes is.... Interesting. Price is kind of steep. 2 topping medium pizza came out to $20. Was offered a soda for the inconvenience. I came here because this Pizza store also has Sri Lankan cuisine. It is located at the junction of Tampa and Roscoe in Reseda. For now, only limited items are available (see my menu photos), but there are plans to add items like rice and currry, hoppers, string hoppers and even a buffet. My carry out order was for fish rolls, fish stuffed rotis and chicken Kothu roti. Their speciality at the present time is various varieties of Kothu rotis (check out my menu photos). It's not often that a restaurant has hidden menu items that are just about the best in the Valley. I had to write a review because Pizza Effect's Kothu is definitely the best I've had in years! I highly recommend the Chicken and Cheese one, the beef is pretty good, too. Their portions are pretty sizable, there's more than enough to share. Their Fried Rice is delicious and packed with flavor. I'm still yet to try their pizza because every time I go over I can't resist the Kothu! The ladies running the restaurant are very nice, as well.
