First of all-BEST MANGO LASSI EVER. Thank you! Nice and spicy biryani. Delicioussssss samosa! The service was kind and welcoming. Everyone had a smiling face. Even though we got takeout, I would totally dine in next time.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I really need to do a better job with picture for this delicious restaurant. At the time of its opening, not gonna front, I was sad to see the previous restaurant (a pizza and muajenat spot) close! BUT wow! What an amazing addition to the area! We've eaten in resistant and ordered catering and the fact that we continue to return is a testament to just how delicious their food is. Our personal favorites: chicken biryani, lamb shank stew, tandoori chicken, naans (garlic and regular), samosas (with tamarind sauce), and lentil (daal) and chickpea masala.

This is our second time here really. We wanted comfort homemade food, without paying too much. And if you are a CSUN student they you get a special discount too woohoo. You can tell food is going to be delicious from the moment you walk in. Smells incredibly tasty. Our host, Uzi, is very friendly nice and professional , answered our questions, which were very helpful in choosing our plates. Food is made to order, can't beat that freshness. Highly recommend them, and they do catering as well. You guys really need to try this place.

Great spot to try some tasty Indian food. This time, I tried the Mix combo, which consisted of ground beef kabobs, ground chicken kabobs, chicken tandoori and chicken kabob. All of the meat was marinated in yummy Indian spices and when the dish just came out, the meat was juicy tender and very delicious. I had an option of getting it with rice or naan, so I went with freshly baked garlic naan. Delicious low-carb , high protein meal and the portion was big enough to last me an extra meal the next day. The spot has around 6-7 tables and you order at the counter. The decor is one that you could expect from an indian restaurant, with pleasant Indian music hits playing in the background. The owner is friendly and is happy to recommend you some tasty cool dishes. Will definitely come back here again!

Chicken tikka masala : great, rich in flavor. I ordered a side of rice & garlic naan to go together. It was delicious & I underestimated how big the naan was going to be! I also ordered the biryani which was so fragrant & tasted absolutely delicious. I really liked the green sauce the dish came with ! You order in front & then they serve you your dishes once you find a place to sit. Parking is easy as it's located in a shopping plaza, same as Sweetsnow.

Let me start off with holy moly this place has so much flavor. I haven't tasted something so good for a long time. Every bite had the best flavor in my mouth. The service was absolutely great. Food came out fast. The environment was peaceful, calm comfortable. There is a lot of parking spots available. I don't know how many times I passed this place because it was so hidden. It's definitely a hidden gem. I had spicy butter chicken. I forgot the other names of the other dishes, but wow. The sauce was nice and creamy perfect to the taste buds. The rice with the chicken was very, very flavorful and colorful. The workers were so friendly that's what made this place. Amazing. included the pictures with the names of the dishes.

We are not Indian food experts, but we like eating good food. Not used to see beef in the menu. Uzi was very helpful and suggested a meat platter. First, Mango Lassi was really good, better if it was colder. All the meats were flavorful, beef and chicken kabobs were good. Really enjoyed the samosas and butter masala, reminded me of the flavors we had in popular Indian Restaurant in San Jose . Chicken Tandoori was really flavorful, well seasoned. We had to bring home food, the mango lassi filled us up too. We are planning to go back to try the more traditional foods. It's near CSUn, it is a more casual setting, walk up to order and pick up.

Halal Biriyani Kabob House opened up a second location in Northridge! This restaurant is well known for Pakistani-Indian cuisine. Food is fantastic here! Ask for recommendations if it's your first time. The restaurant is known for BIRIYANI, their "Hyderabadi lamb biryani" is a best seller. Eight kinds of biriyani are available, so definitely give that a try and also check out their chef's specials. If you don't eat meat, no worries the restaurant has got you covered: it's Vegetarian/Vegan friendly. Great restaurant, friendly staff, and nicer location compared to their flagship restaurant in mid-city Los Angeles.

I have been in search of good Indian food in the valley for the past 2 years and finally found one! Everything I ordered was great, authentic recipes, great quality and very friendly service. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here, I will be back.

5/5 Parking's in a shared lot with other businesses, but it was very easy to find a spot. The smell of the restaurant gave us a warm hug as soon as we walked in. Plenty of seating to enjoy your meal. There's a fridge on the way to the cashier with plenty of dessert, ice cream, and beverage choices to choose from. The fullness & deliciousness from the food distracted me and had me forget, but will definitely try the Mango Lassi & Rice Pudding on my next trip! The pudding's made with basmati rice so that's what caught my attention. Was greeted by a nice gentleman who provided me with great recommendations. He even checked in on all his customers while we were eating. 10/10 customer service our whole time there. He was kind enough to give us a drink & rice on the house to go along with one of our entrees! We got: Chicken Korma and Lamb Briyani The chicken was in a yellow, creamy sauce - curry. The aromatics & spices put into these dishes were so comforting. Both the chicken & lamb were so savory, tender and each bite was very flavorful. The rice was very fluffy and delicious. Garlic Naan Served fresh and warm. Not oily, but wasn't dry! Every bite was soft. The garlic was subtle, but perfectly present in every bite. Samosas These were HEAVEN SENT. Idk what kind of seasoning or filling they used - I believe there were potatoes, lentils, veggies? I didn't know what to expect for the filling, but it was sooo good. One order came in 3 pieces & they were HUGE. These are a MUST if you go here! They came with 2 sauces which both paired very well w the samosas. If I'm ever craving this kind of food, this is the restaurant I will choose to go to. Best spot in town! Customer service, experience, & food all surpassed my expectations. Definitely will come back & try more things off their menu! + they have discounts if you attend CSUN!

Absolutely incredible experience! The service was genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the food was next level. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The biryani was packed with aroma and spices, the naan was perfectly blistered and soft, and the grilled meats were tender, juicy, and full of bold flavor. Even the lentil dish was rich, comforting, and unforgettable. You can tell real care goes into both the cooking and the customer experience here. This is a must-try spot if you love amazing food and great service. I'll definitely be back--and bringing friends with me next time!

We've been wanting to come to this place and finally got the chance. 10/10 for service, he was extremely helpful, kind, and even gifted us a dessert! The lamb shank was good, a bit salty so definitely need to pair with the huge garlic naan and the rice. The flavor of the paneer tikka masala was good, leaning on the sweeter side. Unfortunately the vegetable biryani had a very strong flavor of cardamom? It was slightly overwhelming. Portions are good though and parking is easy in a shared lot

The food is okay, but not the best. The most important thing to note is that this restaurant doesn't have a waiter.

Then use it for several meals with the included garlic naan and salad. I make my own white basmati rice and enjoy every serving. My recent visit here saw several changes. There is a new owner and chef, something I questioned, after indulging in a sit down, for the buffet selections of the day. Very noticeably, there was shrimp curry, a feature generally not seen in buffets. That too, it was small shrimp, scarcely distributed in the curry and definitely from a frozen packet (I confirmed that with the chef). Strikingly absent at this location, was the daily fixture of lamb curry, which in the past, was tender boneless pieces, swimming in a thick intoxicating gravy. Instead, the only meat selection was chicken in more than one version. The tikka masala, the curry, the tandoori. The latter was exceptional and better than in previous times. The vegetables were standard and just okay. The pakora appetizer easily surpassed the samosas. Unfortunately, the pappar (lentil wafer) was baked, not roasted on the fire, or even fried. An important touch for the marriage of crunch and flavor that was lacking. The fresh garlic naan, the raita and the chutneys were all super. Service, with the same server as before, was timely, friendly and most attentive.
