    Steam Momo
    Steve S.

I was driving around last night, looking for some tasty food and discovered this food truck. Jumped on Yelp, did my cross-references and got out of the car to order. An extremely nice gentleman recommended to start with the original, so I ordered the Steam Momo. These are dumplings and they were extremely delicious. Surprisingly, when I got home and opened the packaging, the dumplings were still extremely hot, like I like it. After I tried the first one, I knew it was a home run-- the meat filling was tender, juicy and prepared with multiple flavorful spices. My portion came with 10 of these and it was fairly filling. Their 3 side sauces should be given credit too, very delicious, from mild to hot, with some unique flavor notes. All in all, a great experience, friendly service and very flavorful Momo....and come on, how would one not wanna try a dish called Momo)). I know I did and am definitely happy with my choice. Will for sure be back again!

We stopped by Himalaya Momos for an office lunch date, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a fun, flavor-packed break. Since it was a group visit, we ended up tasting almost everything on the menu--and every single item impressed us. We started with pani puri, which was fresh, tangy, and full of that classic street-food punch. The chili chicken was crispy and spicy with great flavor, while the hakka noodles were well seasoned and comforting. The jhol momos were rich and flavorful, and the steamed momos were juicy, soft, and perfectly cooked--simple and delicious. One of the biggest highlights was their new addition: Maggi. It was hands down the best--pure nostalgia in a bowl and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave. And for me, the clear winner was the loaded fries--crispy, generously topped, and absolutely addictive. I loved them and would happily go back just for those. Even though it's a food truck, it gives you the perfect feel of enjoying authentic snacks and momos, just like true street food should. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and service was quick and friendly. If you're craving authentic Himalayan flavors, comforting momos, and nostalgic snacks, Himalaya Momos is a must-try. Perfect for a quick lunch, office outing, or anytime street-food craving.

I've been desperate for a good momo spot in the valley and I'm so happy i found this place! The butter chicken momos are possibly the best momos I've ever had. The mango lassi and chilly paneer are also solid!

The dumpings are really juicy and very well seasoned. An order comes with eight pieces and sauce. We ended up ordering loaded Fries, steam momo and Panipuri ( buy 1 get 1 free). Great Value! The folks working here are very kind and sweet. They explained their menu and recommended their best sellers. I'd definitely come back to support this local business.

The owner was so nice! The food was very flavorful and I really enjoyed the large portion.

Super amazing experience here. Drove here from Ventura County just to experience this and it definitely did not disappoint. These are the items we got: - Loaded Momo - steamed Momo - noodles (chicken) - paneer - Spicy Momo - mango lassi - chai By far noodles were my fave with the paneer being a close second. I am new to and this was my first time trying Himalayan food. Usually have sag paneer or the paneer that is in the green veggie sauce that's more soft, but this was one was like a sweet n sour blend and had so much flavor and was very good to eat with the rest of the foods. The noodles omg. The size of the actual noodles was really good, thin and spaghetti like but still packed with so much flavor and spice. The chicken was so tender I almost didn't believe it was chicken haha but it was really good and would definitely get this again. Steamed Momo was also one of my favorites as the other Momo options were more saucy or contained other things. I like mine plain and simple. Comes with peanut sauce and spicy sauce. Both great options but fav Momo would have to be steamed :) Special shoutout to the people working at Himalayas Momo. They brought out a table for us and served us like we were at a restaurant. It started raining in the middle of us eating but they kindly gave us kids and helped us out all throughout the experience and were very accommodating. Thank you guys! Would definitely go again. 10/10 service. 10/10 food. (NOT SPONSORED BTW GENUINELY SUPPORT UR LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THIS WAS A GREAT ONE )

5 Stars - A Hidden Gem on Wheels! Himalaya's Momo absolutely blew me away! I ordered the Chili Momos and Hakka Noodles, and let me tell you -- the flavor was next-level. Perfectly spiced, full of depth, and clearly made with love. The portion sizes? Massive. The price? Super reasonable. You definitely get more than your money's worth here. What really took the experience over the top was the energy of the person working the truck, Amit. This guy doesn't just serve food -- he lives and breathes it. His charisma and passion for the cuisine made the whole visit feel personal and authentic. If you've never had Nepali or Himalayan food before, this is the place to start. And if you have, then you already know you're in for something special. Highly recommend giving them a try -- your tastebuds will thank you!

Obsessed with their chicken biryani--I think about it all the time. This Nepalese food truck near CSUN/Bounce Boba Lounge has become one of my go-to spots. I've been back over 10 times now, and the food always hits. I've also tried the chicken momo, chicken chilly, chili momo, veggie momo, pani puri, and chicken Hakka noodles--all solid. They've got a few comfy chairs if you want to sit and eat with friends. Parking is super easy--plenty of space in the nearby plazas. The staff is always friendly and will happily hook you up with extra sauce.

Hear me out ! Whether you live in the valley or in the Hollywood/LA area you gotta go to either of their locations. Been mean meaning to try this for a bit. This definitely the spot, Momos were bomb ! Even tho the sauce of the steam momos was missing but hey the taste overcomes that lol. Fast friendly service , Also that chili Momo Med spicy hit different, not much of a spice eater but this was worth it! Can't wait to try out the next items on the menu soon!

It is so tough to find momos, and these live up to my expectations for a good momo! I've also really been loving their noodles. So happy they're on uber eats now so I can get delivery when I can't make it over there from Woodland Hills.

I always see this place from my place and been wanting to try the food . (If theres always people there its gotta be good) I ordered the vegetarian rice, vegan dumpling's, and the Himalayan fires. All 3 plates were very delicious because each plate is seasoned differently and different flavors that just go perfectly well together . Dumplings were amazing as well 10/10 i would definitely go back and order more. Also the lady that took my order very kind and sweet lady and making sure we weren't allergic to nuts or anything very thoughtful(:

Absolutely love trying new local-ish small businesses and putting in a good word for them. Great halal momo, Hakka Chinese and biryani food truck for the valley. Surely love that there's finally a spot to get momos in the valley. Tried the jhol momos, chilli momos and veg hakka noodles, which were all equally good. Appreciate the very courteous guys running the business, making an effort to retain customers. Curbside spot with most people taking advantage of the adjacent parking lot that's for a business closed at night. They do have a few chairs to wait or eat there. Here's to manifesting that this places runs well and the quality/service remains consistent.

Great for a late night grab! Highly recommend the chili momos. Jhol momos are not too bad either.

There is a new owner and chef, something I questioned, after indulging in a sit down, for the buffet selections of the day. Very noticeably, there was shrimp curry, a feature generally not seen in buffets. That too, it was small shrimp, scarcely distributed in the curry and definitely from a frozen packet (I confirmed that with the chef). Strikingly absent at this location, was the daily fixture of lamb curry, which in the past, was tender boneless pieces, swimming in a thick intoxicating gravy. Instead, the only meat selection was chicken in more than one version. The tikka masala, the curry, the tandoori. The latter was exceptional and better than in previous times. The vegetables were standard and just okay. The pakora appetizer easily surpassed the samosas. Unfortunately, the pappar (lentil wafer) was baked, not roasted on the fire, or even fried. An important touch for the marriage of crunch and flavor that was lacking. The fresh garlic naan, the raita and the chutneys were all super. Service, with the same server as before, was timely, friendly and most attentive.
