Came here for a late lunch after a hike. We ordered at the counter and they brought the food to us. We got the spaghetti and meatballs and veggie calzone which was good. The spaghetti was ok--my friend said it usually comes in a round container and the serving is usually larger. Ambiance was ok but tables were set up cafeteria style. I'm a pizza factory lover, i usually go trying different pizza factory places and this one makes the cut. Pizza is perfectly baked, no burnt or uncooked pieces. Service is great and the place is clean. They got sitting inside and outside as well. We got a XL pepperoni pizza and garlic bread, pizza had the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. Good pizza and good beer! What else can you ask of a pizza place? The crust is hand-tossed and toppings are tasty. It seems like they put extra sauce near the edges, so when eating the crust ("pizza bones") it's not so dry. In my opinion, the pizzas taste better than the large chain pizza places. I called to order on the phone. A young man asked me if I could please hold. I told him okay. which I hold for 15 minutes on the line. I could hear conversation through the phone. I was still on hold while I arrived at the place. when I arrived to the place while still on hold. the young man finally answered if he could help me. I said im in front of you right now. They actually put bacon's on it. instead of making a new one. one of the girl told the young guy to pick out all of the bacon. I went up to the front desk and told them if it's mine. you might as well make a new one. Absolutely fantastic experience last time we came! Lindsay and Geno's service was awesome. Lindsay went out of her way to find a bandaid when we asked if she had one; and Geno was incredibly welcoming . This is one of the last good pizza factories still around. Most have either gone down hill (cheap owners who skimp on toppings) or the quality just isn't there. When you order, the toppings are piled on top and fresh, and the crust is perfect! This was my childhood favorite, and I still love it to this day, and friant has kept prices reasonable, yet still manages to greet people when they arrive, say thanks as you leave, have decent prices on pitchers of beer, and still crank out the pizza just the way I love and remember! So here's the deal... I'm vegan so it's very hard for me to find a good pizza restaurant that can make a good vegan pizza. I've tried them all in Fresno and some in Clovis but they are just so so, nothing exciting or even delicious And usually they are not cooked well or all the way and I always say cook crispy because I like my pizza crust that way Well, I think I found my new best pizza place! We were hungry after a day on the lake so we decided to stop by The Pizza Factory in Friant, on Friant Road on a very busy weekend night. Best decision made!! Since we're vegans we went with the veggie pizza (added a few more veggies) and their pesto pizza with sun dried tomatoes with no cheese. OMG was it the best tasting pizza ever and the crust was perfect! Definitely worth every penny and so delicious Hopefully my next visit will be just as amazing! The salad bar is broken. It has been broken for 7 months. They have 3 flavors of soda, soda fountain hasn't worked for several months. They have a big sign that reads "water is not potable". Totally run down. Danney and Ron are turning over in their grave. Avoid at all costs. read more

Every now and again I get amazed at the support the local communities give to the military. As I got out of my vehicle a gentleman of late 20's to early 30's approached me to thank me for my service and expressed his sincerest gratitude. After I entered the restaurant he followed and stated "I got his food" to the employee at the register. I was taken a back by this act and thanked the man. He reiterated his appreciation and left. After receiving my food I asked who the guy was. The employee stated "that's the owner, Ryan". I was blown away by his generosity!! Last evening myself and my mountains bike buddies arrived to this restaurant 30 minutes prior to closing. Matt who I assume is the night shift manager, graciously took down chairs and invited us in. The staff was friendly and the did delivery on time, now why the 5 star rating for all this, well I was at Millerton Camp Grounds, and I called from our camp site, and they delivered right to our site almost to the second they promised, and they were happy to do so. I was very impressed with this place and the service they gave us, making sure if we needed anything else to let them know and the delivery driver was helpful and friendly, make sure if we needed cheese or peppers. when we ate our pizza all the indigents were fresh and hot for us. Overall if you are in the area, this is a great place get your pizza and if you are camping at Millerton Lake, be sure to order your pizza and they will delivery it so no cooking that night lol. read more

Ran down restaurant. Bathroom door don't work. Not all the fountain drinks work. Soap dispenser in bathroom broken off wall. Employees seem confused. This place is a joke. Wish I could tell you what the food is like , but we have been here over 45 minutes with no food. My kids are going to the shell station to get snacks. Not even sure if we are going to get our food. The sodas that do work need syrup boxes changed. Finally got our food. No plates , nice. Won't be coming back to this place. The pizza is just ehhhhh and that is when we are starving. So it's probably simply not good. The weird part of all this is the young man who pulled our pizzas out , he stared at the pizzas , then at a paper receipt, then at the pizza , and at the receipt and this went on for what seemed to be a solid 5 minutes. I have worked at a pizza factory before at the most should take 20 minutes and that was with the old ovens... I feel if your that busy get extra help to answer the phones and help cook.
