We are staying at the Yosemite View Lodge and this place is on property. We tried to call in to place an order but cell service is spotty here. We walked the short distance and placed the order at the counter. We ordered a medium cheese pizza and added olives and pepperoni. We were told it would be ready in 15 min. Fresh pizza with plenty of options to choose from at Yosemite View Lodge! Ate here for dinner after checking into the Yosemite View Lodge. We went a little past 5 PM and there were already a few people dining outside. Plentiful parking around the restaurant. We went inside to order. They have a lot of options on the menu and you can even choose your own pizza toppings. The decor is very minimal, nothing fancy, but looked relatively clean. The employees were friendly and patient with us. We were given a plastic number card. We got water cup, paper plates, parmesan, and red pepper flakes before grabbing a table outside. Our food was brought to us outside and it felt like it didn't take long to receive everything. This is what we ordered: * Cheesy bread sticks - these were yummy! For my husband and I, they weren't too salty or oily and they had a nice amount of cheese. We were able to finish the whole thing between the two of us. * Large The River Special pizza - 12 slices of chicken, onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and garlic on top of cheese and green pesto sauce. This was a unique pizza that I hadn't seen anywhere else. It was pretty good! Also not too salty or oily for us. Very cheesy but you could taste the other ingredients too. We liked the medium thickness of the crust. The crust reminded me of Costco's pizza crust but a little more tender. Between the two of us, we were only able to eat 5 slices in one sitting. We refrigerated the rest of the slices and they reheated well using the pizza setting on the microwave. Total amount we spent with tax and tip was $46. Price wise, it's comparable to other eateries around Yosemite. We really enjoyed parkside pizza! This restaurant is part of the Yosemite view lodge but anyone is welcome to dine. The service was quick. The pizza was great and fresh! I would say if you order a size small (4 pieces) it's more like a personal pan pizza versus four large pieces. I would recommend ordering a size large for 3 to 4 people. When we visited Yosemite, we tried this pizza place next to our hotel. There were no other places to eat nearby except one which didn't have much customers. But this place was quite full. Our order came quickly and it was delicious! We actually returned again the next day for dinner. It was only a 15 minute wait before serving. I thought they pre made the crust and added the rest as soon as you order. On our last night, my sis in law left her purse on the table outside and looked for it 30 minutes later. I recently chose this place for a date night based off of the photos on Yelp, some of which look quite appealing. The restaurant is actually located right smack in the middle of the huge motel parking lot in El Portal, on the opposite side of the road from the Yosemite employee housing community. You kind of have to look for it, because the signage is not very great. Luckily, we both found it. Parking was not too difficult, although I had to park a minute's walk away. Based off of what people were saying on Yelp, my date and I ordered a large pizza with half meat combo and half "River" (chicken, white sauce, artichokes). The wait time was not too bad. There were only a few other people ahead of us, and it only took about ten to fifteen minutes for our pizza to come out. We asked for no mushrooms, and our ticket said "no mushrooms," but we received lots of huge mushrooms anyway. We just picked them off, since neither one of us is allergic or anything like that. My standards were honestly kind of low, because I was just hoping the pizza would be better than the pizza place in Curry Village. Honestly, it wasn't. Everything was fresh enough, but the pizza was just not that good. The crust was as bland and cardboard-esque as could be. The toppings weren't terrible, but they just tasted cheap. It was just not an impressive pizza. Based on the current menu, I don't think I would need to try this place again. If they added more modern, creative, or artisan menu items, then I would consider giving them another try. read more

We got a large pizza, half chicken alfredo and half chicken cordon blue. On the positive side, the crust was way better than I expected. I really enjoyed it. The pizza itself was dry though. I couldn't taste any sauce and you would think alfredo and ranch would be noticable flavors. I did like the chicken cordon blue slightly more. A large was plenty for two people.
