Pizza Factory is another little spot that we have made a family tradition to visit once a year on our way back home from Dinky Creek. All our kids enjoy watching the staff flip the doughy pizzas and usually are perfect circles when they are done... the food is always fresh and crisp just the way we love it! It's pretty cool going into the bathrooms looking at all the walls full of sports teams from the local schools. The place feels so homey and there are games you can play... I've even seen a party room for birthdays. We have family come from all around California so it is always cool to sit at the same table with about 10 other family members and get some family time in and don't forget September is the beginning of some football so we always catch an awesome game! Thought I reviewed this already. Anyhow it was fairly unremarkable pizza, really thin pepperoni. A postage stamp might be thicker than the pepperoni. I fortunately have always had a good experience with this location. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I don't usually have any problems with ordering. The pizza always comes out fresh and has a good pizza slice flop ratio lol. They do a good job with their toppings and the pizza always fills me up pretty good with its ingredients. I called and ordered a large pizza half pepperoni and pineapple and the other half combo. I showed up to pick up my order and the lady reads the order back to me and says half pepperoni and pineapple and half sierra special. I tell her I ordered a combo. She says that is their combo. I look on the menu and it distinctly says what she gave me is the factory special not the combo which I ordered. Pretty simple fix. Own your mistake and make another pizza. Instead she argues with me. I've had several arguments with this lady before and was not about to but heads with her. We like taking our kids here on the way to camping. I usually get a sandwich, and the kids get pizza. The salad bar seemed to recently get an upgrade, so that's great. Is the pizza amazing? Curb side pick-up offered through their website but we waited outside for 30 minutes after our "ready time." We ended up going inside (big lines), and the employee promised us "8 more minutes" and it ended up being 25 minutes. Pizza isn't great. Went to the Pizza Factory in Prather and will not be going back after today. We ordered a medium specialty half Greek and Awesome both said on the menu $20.95 always before ordered that way before. After I was told the price of the pizza $36.94 before tax but the paper menu said $20.95 and the employee told me the menu prices are not correct anymore the owner Dan raised his prices and did not want to make new menus and other customers complained about it and someone was going to report it. Pizza Factory in Prather has always been my #1 choice for pizza. After the new owners took over things changed and not for the better. Haven't orders food here for so time now but thought I'd give it a try thinking maybe things have changed and I was wrong. My wife wanted there antipasto salad which she loves and let's just say not good. I guess you have to chop the lettuce yourself ? Among many other reasons with the pizza we also got I will never give this particular Pizza Factory another dime. The owners need to take notes from the pizza factory in Fowler, Legrand, Madera Ranchos, Fowler and Millerton. I would really like to recognize one employee Jaden. From the moment we walked in he was attentive and took our order with lots of patience even though we were chaotic with kids. I forgot to order a drink for my child and instead of being annoyed that I popped back to the counter he went above and beyond to make it smooth and quick for me. He overheard my husband and I debating which beer we wanted to get and showed up at our table surprising us with both instead. We did have a little spill from the kids and went to get rags/napkins to clean up and apologize and he was so sincere and kind and helpful. I have come here for 30 years - came back after 5 years and visiting in town- the employees are not professional or well trained- the quality of food has gone to COMPLETE SH**!. And that's me being nice . Paid over $30.00 for an XTRA LARGE pizza that rivals a medium. A little Cesar's $5 pizza is significantly better- really is a shame that new ownership is utterly destroyed in record time- my review is 1000% accurate and true. I used to work at a different location so I expected so much more than what they showed. my order was wrong, 1 pizza and small side wings cost me 50$ the wings were not bone in, they were soggy and spicy, i ordered regular. pizza too soggy to even pick up. they left me outside for 40 minutes at curbside pick up i went back in again, and not one employee tried to even acknowledge me. not a "hi" or "can i help you?" nope it was like i wasn't even there. We came here as a family on a weekend and stopped here for pizza. It was great pizza!! We ordered two medium pizzas and cheese bread, which was more than enough for 4 people. This place has gone down hill. Food isn't consistent or quality like it used to be when Bill owned the place. The workers have poor phone etiquette and when you arrive to pick up food you can clearly see that most of them are high as a kite and are moving a million miles an hour. Guy on the phone was so irritated to take a to go order. Order was incorrect. Employees look and behave like they are on meth. Food was terrible, the breadsticks were soggy so they got thrown away. Sandwiches were lacking toppings. There is a much better pizza factory in Friant with friendly employees and quality food, much cleaner and more welcoming. read more

Very unsatisfied. Called food in and said 20-25 minutes and show up and they say a couple more minutes. After an hour ask them where the pizza is and they say they are looking for it and told them it shouldn't be that hard to find and turns out was never made and that they will make it right now give them 8 minutes. After a couple minutes they said our breadsticks have been ready the entire time. While waiting they said we could have a free small soda, when I paid almost $37 for a pizza and breadsticks. Saddest part is we could get over it when dealing with a bad employee but it was the owner we were dealing with, the employees were very apologetic. Decided to dine here the other night with my husband and mother-in-law. We both had a "serious" pizza craving. She also informed that this establishment is "known" to have "hit n' miss" customer service. Well I, having worked in the restaurant business for the better part of my life and I know that customer service, when working in hospitality, not only in restaurants, but other establishments that require helpful customer service skills should be your number one priority if you desire to have a thriving and successful business. With that being said, upon entering this establishment on a Thursday evening @8:30 p.m., I noticed there to be a total of 3 workers on staff. There was only one other 3 top that was dining in one of their booth tables. Everything seemed to be "shutting down" for the evening. I was disappointed to see the salad bar was broken down and everything was broken down for the evening. The tables except for maybe four of them where not available for seating as all the chairs were placed on top of the tables, again, as if they were minutes from closing for the night. I did notice that their website does say open from 11a.m. weekdays till closing @10 p.m. Weekends they close at 11 p.m. I also understand that they were slow, so instead of losing profit they might have been closing earlier than usual. Ok, no big deal, next time we'll make sure to come in a little bit earlier. So I ordered a medium vegetarian pizza and my husband ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza and a few fountain drinks to dine in. So we order, then were told about 30 minutes. Okay, so we decide to go to MarVal's to pick up a couple items we've been needing. I forgot to point out that the moment we walked in to the place there were no "Welcome to Pizzafactory" or even, "Hello, how are you this evening, welcome, how can I help you?" No, the employees seemed a little busy discussing whatever they were discussing amongst themselves. I believe WE had to be the greeters this time. Lead by example, right? So we come back and decide to sit in one of their booths. The other diners have left already. My mother in law has to go to the front to get our pizzas and brings them to the table. Only they were in "to go" boxes. We had stated we wanted to dine in. Oh well, they must've anticipated our needs and we're thinking ahead of time and put our pizzas in togo boxes for us. Nobody brought them to the table to us. They did not bring up napkins and silverware or ask if we would like any condiments. Only upon opening our pizza boxes I was so excited to see lots of freshly cut veggies on my pizza. I'll give them that. Fresh ingredients a definite "plus" for me. We THOUROUGHLY enjoyed our pizzas and decided to take the rest home for late night snacking. We gathered our things and proceeded to walk towards the door. No "thank you's" "have a great rest of your evening!" Nothing. Until my husband and I spoke up first. Him being a chef and I being a server myself, Gave them a wave and said thank you and enjoy your night. Then came the oh yea, Thank you too! I'm starting to feel like I sound a little snobbish and high maintenance but I'm not trying to pick them to peices either. I understand this is a very casual restaurant, but I firmly believe if you want repeat customers you need to make a little more effort in achieving customer satisfaction, which stems from anticipating your every customer need before they have to ask. I also think that it starts with proper training from management or ownership to make sure their standards are being met. Overall, I will definitely be back. Surprised this place doesnt have a 5 star rating. We were passing through (from San Diego) we asked the cook for recommendation on pizza. He stated he was from the east coast and liked making a chicken bacon ranch pizza. This man can make a phenomenal pizza! Chicken bacon ranch was fabulous. Also ordered an alfredo pizza... so great.
