The first time I visit I took pictures of all the inside and outside of the business but forgot to take images of the actual pizza. HAHAHA!!! So the images of the pizza are from my second visit it was so good. It is not as cheap as Dominoes and Papa Murphy's and not as expensive as Round Tables but it is in between as far as prices. They always have a deal for 2 large pizzas. I ordered one large pepperoni and one large pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeño. It comes with a free 2 liter. I added about 4 ranch dipping cups and the total was around $42. Clean place and located in downtown Marysville right off the bridge where PG&E used to be. I ordered 6 pizzasamd some cheese bread. Usually with that large an order i expect them to rush through the food prep and cooking time. This wasnt the case. Each and every pizza was cooked perfectly. Crunchy edges, Browning of the cheese on top, pepperoni with crispy edges. And it was as good as it looked. Perfect ammount of sauce to cheese ratio, amd time was taken making each one. Usually Pizza Guys in Marysville is actually really good. Last night was the worst. Ordered online at 5:05. App told my wife 80 minutes for delivery. Thought that was excessive, but it was the Tyson fight, sooooo..... Called at 6:50 and the kud who answered put us on hold. Finally a manager got on and said they had to remake someone else's pizzas which pushed ours back...... not buying that, but whatever. This was my first time eating at Pizza Guys and I was very impressed with the taste and quality of their food. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic bread. The pizza wasn't horribly greasy and the pepperoni was flavorful but not spicy. I can't describe how amazing the cheesy garlic breadsticks tasted. While my review is long overdue, my receipt I saved was my reminder to leave this review. Walk-in on 2/8/23 6:43 PM - Cheese Bacon Rolls were the only redeeming item & edible enough. Pretty pissed & disgusted $18.99 for a 12-piece Kogi Serrano Chili Wings, which appeared to be hard boiled & doused w/the sauce (my Husband & I baked them in the oven for longer). Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta - I could have bought a frozen version at Savemart or Walmart that would have been better. $6.99 for a Garden Salad that looked like the lettuce was ripped by hand & the "Garden" part was ridiculously improvised. The young lady at the front of the counter was not only answering the phone in addition to routing one of the delivery drivers back out; This after resolving what appeared to be an issue with an amount charged & the delivery location. She gave me exceptional service & was the best part of my visit. I should have opened by boxes that were hastily placed on the counter by a young lady from the back, which when I asked her for a bag that would help me carry my order out - She appeared to be annoyed by that, slapped it on the top of the boxes & turned around & hustled to the back. This experience on top of the food will definitely make me never go back! I work for a State building down the street & will definitely tell any colleague that I can don't bother contributing their hard-earned money for lunch or a quick dinner. I should have looked at the boxes before walking out & I failed myself be not doing so. When I paid right after ordering I gave a $6.00 tip & it should have been to the young lady that first checked me out! Love this Pizza Guys franchise location in Marysville. It is super easy to place an order online by either creating a customer account or checking out as a guest for a faster experience. The location has plenty of free street parking and is easily accessible right off of the freeway in Marysville. The pizza is always piping hot, ready to go whenever I arrive to pick it up, and the staff always provide me with extra marinara sauce if I ask for it. This has been my go-to stop for pizza for years. Cheap, quick and tasty. It's definitely fast food pizza but it's good quality & I've always been happy. They have a lot of great specials and it's a lot cheaper then some other places. My only complaint is their online ordering is a godforsaken mess. I'm not dumb, I went to college dammint but I can never seem to figure out how to apply coupons to my online orders. Calling in person is hit or miss as it's usually super loud inside & you have to repeat yourself multiple times. Oh and their online order system only gives you 3 options for tips. This large sausage and pepperoni pizza was a $30 disappointment. After placing my order I had to wait an hour and a half and by the time it got to my house it was barely warm and it was cut so oddly. I've worked at a couple different pizza places, and I've never seen pizza sliced this way unless it was specially requested. I give it 2 because the food is usually alright Tonight I got 2 large pizzas and a order of wings. The order was right. They pay no attention to the special instructions... I asked for crushed peppers and parm and to be called and provided my phone number again in those instructions as my rott shepherd mix loses her shit. Order was 41... I pre tipped 7. Dude knocked... I asked if he even read the instructions and he said no I'm sorry... Ok cool accidents happen. He handed me the pizza and wings... and I asked for my parm and peppers... he had none Id suggest NEVER pre tipping... because they dont care after that. I loved the pizza and the cheesy bread. This is one of three pizza places that will deliver to the desolate Plumas Lake and easily the best. I've tried Neighbors three times and they scored barely good, to fair to sub par. Domino's doesn't make it clear they'll deliver our way on their website (they do for a minimum price) and their pizza is just okay. Pizza Guys shows they deliver (for a minimum price too) on their website. It's easy to order and they deliver on time with hot pizza.
