I placed an order for takeout last week. It was awful. My mother ordered wings and they were so greasy it was dripping off and stained her clothes. I ordered pasta substituting pesto and cheesy garlic bread. The pasta was awful. It all clumped together and the taste was not good. Half of the garlic bread was burnt and had no cheese. My order was miscommunicated causing a wrong order. It can be frustrating when buying a 50 dollar pizza especially when the part that was messed up was the wife's. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.... Been in the area for 7 years. Finally decided to support this local place, let them win me over. Well....dissapointing is the word to describe my order. Ordered online, arrived to pick up and was told still cooking, ok no problem there. 15 min later i was told they were still working on my potato skins. Ok, no problem again. Upon getting my order and walking out i could feel the bottom of the XL pizza box did not feel warm. Hmmm, my thought was they forgot the potato skins and quickly made those while my pizza sat. Got it home in 5 min and immediately had to start my oven to reheat. Meanwhile the toaster oven was fired up in order to cook further the quickly cooked potato skins. Even after some warming in the oven the pizza remained cool. Not to meantion the skimpy toppings i added for $5 each. Overall the pizza lacked enough cheese and sauce. Sauce was flavored similiar to Costco pizza. I tried. I will stick with Primetime pizza for my local needs. They have an actual doughy crust you can taste. We were staying at Lake Minden RV Resort in Nicolaus and decided we wanted pizza. Barbecue is great, but at some point in the week everyone is ready for pizza! Well... Nicolaus is kinda in between everything. Between Highway 99 and Highway 70, between Lincoln and Yuba City, and just about halfway between pizza joints in Olivehurst or Wheatland. This trip we decided to give Olivehurst a try. I'm glad we did. The pizza and cheesy garlic bread were very good. What wasn't so good was the wait! I called the order in from the campground, that is about 20-25 minutes away. The girl taking my order said it would be about 25 minutes. I arrived to pick up my order 25 minutes after calling it in, paid, and waited anxiously to get my food and make the short trek back to camp so we could all eat. Well, I waited, and waited some more, and finally after being inside waiting for another 25 minutes, I asked the manager (I think) if my order was almost ready. She said "Let me check," and the next thing I new another girl appeared with my pizza and bread. I got my cheese and peppers and hurried home. The food was good and the staff were friendly. Time just passes a little slower here, I guess. The 25 minutes quoted turned into 50 minutes without a second thought. The menu offers a lot more than what I found in the reviews. I will likely pay Neighbors another visit next time I'm staying at Lake Minden, and very well may try some pasta. read more

Called 30mins ahead to place order and once arrived, they haven't even started on my order yet. Continue to pay for my pizza and left a $2 tip for the service which I shouldn't have. They end up giving me a second class treatment. After 15mins of waiting, Customers that came in after me start receiving their pizzas before me. Meh. It was mediocre. I ordered 2 GF pizzas for my husband but at 11.99 each these far from exceeded expectation. The toppings were wimpy. Like one of the slices didnt even have any chicken. He also was bummed the crust was chewy and corn mealy tasting. For the $24 I could have almost got 6 GF pizzas from Costco that are far larger and tasty. I ordered the "family special" for my kids and I to eat. Large pepperoni and olive. It was ok, glad I got thin crust as it seemed thick enough as "thin" crust goes. Sauce was rather bland though, crust too though. Sadly the pizza at winco tastes better .... It also came with garlic cheese bread that was super mediocre. And I got the Honey wings. If I could get zero I would but 1 star is the lowest... My husband and I would order from here all the time for the past 4 years. First thing is their prices are through the roof I understand inflation and things are expensive nowadays but the prices are a bit insane especially when using credit cards. This was the 3rd time messing up our pizza. First time got the wrong pizza and didn't get our salad. Second time forgot our soda and a poker chip. This last time the pizza was too undercooked,super greasy and there was barely any sauce on our wings. Don't get me wrong amazing food and I understand mistakes happen which is okay. The staff was amazing and very kind but after this last time I ordered not so much... on busy days i understand the staff is under pressure and everyone gets frustrated sometimes but the girl who took our order thought she put me on hold but actually didn't and I heard their whole conversation about me. Not sure who exactly was talking but it sounded like the owner's wife and I heard her complaining about how annoying it is when people call to complain and want compensation just for free food. The amount of times I've let wrong orders slide because I understand how draining it can be working food service just for them to complain at me complaining on the mistake THEY made and assuming I want free/discounted food is ridiculous. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! This is not the first time I've heard the staff complain about customers. There's this couple that I see dining in a couple times when we order to go. The guy sometimes has a puppet with him and likes to talk to people with it (including me) which I know can be a bit odd. I seen the owner's wife go to the back and overheard her say "I hate him and he's so weird" which is honestly pretty sad. We are not all the same please treat your customers with respect. Being new to the area I love doing business with small businesses. I had a deep craving for quality pizza so I ordered a medium "everything " pizza and mozzarella sticks. I had to order the mozzarella sticks to get my order delivered! I ended up paying $6.75 for delivery. The cost of my order was $34.97! My pizza came rather quickly and was delivered by a sweet young gal. I was so excited to try this pizza! I first sampled the mozzarella stick and was vastly disappointed! They weren't fried but instead soggy, limp and cold. Yuk! Then I opened up my pizza box and at first glimpse I noticed that the toppings were pretty sparse. And since the pizza was cold I had to zap my slice. I took my first bite so badly wanting to love it.....however, it was quite the opposite. The pizza lacked flavor, cheese and was pretty awful. Such a huge $34 dollar disappointment! I mean a frozen pizza would of tasted better. I called the next morning to explain my disappointment and a nice lady who said she was the manager said she'd reimburse me but I never got it! All in all this pizza was pretty bad! Do not order the wings here. Just awful! We ordered the lemon pepper wings 4 wings for $6. They were so oily and soggy; the chicken skin was flappy and overall had no flavor. I lived in AZ and was visiting my Son and his family in Olivehurst, Ca. Ordered their special for $30.95 included large pizza with two toppings, bread sticks, 8 buffalo wings, and 2 litter soda. It was delivered to me within 35 minutes! The manager took my order and she was exceptionally professional and helpful. Oh did I mention that the food (all of the orders) was DELICIOUS!
