Store person said that's not my problem, it's door dash problem (I did not order through door dash ). Then delivery guys goes get the order from whatever he left it at. And brought it back to my house . (20 minutes later ) I still didn't complained , but one of the pizzas didn't have an ingredient I paid extra for . I call the store , they said they don't have that ingredient , so she decided it go double up the ingredients (I did saw a bunch of jalapeño and bell peppers ) which I didn't preferred but I guess that's what she thought it was better instead of ask the client before . This franchise is absolute trash. I pre-ordered several hours early. Not only was my pizza 30 mins late, but it was also wrong. Wrong sauce and a wrong topping. Rainy day, delivery. Tonight worth the $4.50 delivery charge. Ordered the 5 topping $12 deal, did half this, half that twice, then 3 whole choice toppings-it was perfect. Too an hour to get it delivered. Pizza didn't come with pepperoncini. The app showed it had been delivered already so I called the store and they said they alter it and lie and say it's been delivered so that they get better times and clear their orders. The delivery driver also stated the same thing. I usually do not write a negative review but feel I must. My husband and I moved to Northern California the end of 2018. We came from Southern California. Where we lived in San Bernardino and PapaJohns was our pizza place. The pizza was above the rest. The quality was excellent and so was the staff. I decided to order from the one in our current location which is Yuba City. I ordered a deep dish cheese and a regular pepperoni. Pan Pizza: I added extra cheese because I love extra cheese but also I knew that pan pizza's have more sauce. I couldn't wait to get my order and delve into my pizza. I opened the box and was extremely upset. The cheese did not even cover the sauce. The sauce was oozing out. I knew from looking at it that I would be having a sauce pizza not a cheese pizza. I called and mentioned how unhappy I was. The manager Dez proceeded to tell me about the sauce and that I should have ordered more cheese than what I did. I reminded him I did order extra cheese and that it should have covered the sauce. He told me next time I should order ever more cheese and ask for less sauce. He would not remake my pizza. To my trained eye it did not look like my extra cheese was even put on there. I was not given a receipt. I was very upset. I did try one slice of the pizza. As expected I had a sauce pizza The cheese that was on there slid off and so I was left with a sauce pizza. I did not want to eat a sauce pizza so, I threw the pizza away. Pepperoni: The pepperoni looked great but was not at all like Southern California PapaJohns. The quality was not even close. The pepperoni was for my husband mainly but I ended up having some. He was far from impressed as I was. After seeing my pizza and having his own , he vowed as I did to never order from them again. As you may know PapaJohns is not cheap. Today on Sunday December 22nd 2019, my fiance and I ordered two pizzas, and needless to say, we were completely unsatisfied with their service. We tracked the order online and it said it would arrive between 5:25 and 5:35, but they showed up at 5:50. Now I get that delivery drivers will be late once in awhile, but DO NOT MARK ON THE WEBSITE THAT THE DELIVERY WAS MADE TO THE HOUSE WHEN IT CLEARLY HASN'T ARRIVED! Do NOT waste your money on a pizza from Papa Johns! We have never had one before & were suckered into ordering one based on all the commercials stating "better quality, better ingredients", etc. We were VERY disappointed & when we called the manager to complain, there was no offer to try & make it right (even though the box says 100% satisfaction guaranteed!) Our pizza had NO taste, was VERY skimpy on the toppings, & was worse than any frozen pizza we've ever eaten! It was just gross!! So I'm going to begin by talking about the customer service part first. I ordered my pizza online and I made a mistake and ordered cheese pizza instead of pepperoni and cheese. I showed up to pick up my prepaid pizza and the young lady opens the box to show it to me. I was disappointed that it wasn't a pepperoni and as I began to explain to her that they made the wrong pizza she shows me the sticker on how it came through as a cheese pizza and quickly adds that she will remake it for me. I then realize I made the mistake when placing the order online. So, although it was clearly my mistake, she never told me what an idiot I was and didn't argue with me, she just wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I didn't have them remake it but she did add some pepperonis on it and I was embarrassed but happy. I apologized for my mistake and went home and enjoyed a good tasting pizza. Now this isn't the best tasting pizza in the world but for their fair inexpensive prices the quality and taste is perfect. Every time I have ordered from this establishment I have been a satisfied customer. The food is whatever pizza is okish. The garlic knot was not cooked fully. Inside of the garlic knot I can smell and feel the dough. I am going to put pictures so you all can see (I am not making this up). I believe in second chances. Boy was that a mistake. The pizzas we order were not cooked well. Once again tried after 10 years. This place is snobby & does not know their programs. Ad in the shopper says order on line-but no promo code to use coupon. Cashier said since they had my delivery address. I would get my papa rewards credit. Then I call manager DEV. The guy does not care at all. He is in the wrong town to treat people like that. Ask all the corporate places that are GONE. Pizza is pretty good but after reading that they don't wear gloves. Plus the people who work in the store. I don't trust them not to spit in pizza. Ask how to cook prior ti leaving, not all pizzas have the same directions. Sometimes can be soggy or under cooked. Staff is nice, clean place. Its cheaper to go sams club and get the ready to cook pizzas. read more
