I pulled out my phone and showed her the listing, but she kept insisting it didn't say that. If the restaurant closes for a break between lunch and dinner, that is completely understandable. The problem was not the schedule. It was the way the information was communicated. The tone was dismissive and implied that I could not read what was clearly shown online. Customer service matters. A simple explanation, such as "We close the buffet at 2:30 and reopen later for dinner," would have been enough.

Much better tasting than the last one I had from there. My baked potato was super soft, easily the best one I've had from anywhere. I was disappointed in my corn though. She constantly checked on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. She was polite, kind, and very patient while taking my order. The atmosphere was inviting, and the restaurant was clean both inside and outside. It was clear that they take pride in providing a pleasant experience for their customers. The food was so good. I enjoyed the catfish, coleslaw, greens and hushpuppies. Everything was to my liking. I will definitely be returning to Shivers Fish House. If you visit, ask for Tess--you won't be disappointed!
