    BBQ Chicken

Great service and the sauce was incredible. Our server was fast, nice, and funny. Love the southern vibe and the bbq chicken was perfect.

Warning....Warning.....Warning. Do not eat at this place. I have had better everything at a "BBQ" restaurant from the frozen food section in Sav-a-lot. It's been a long time since I have been here, but how disgusting can a place be. To start out with it took 30 minutes to get a sandwich, baked beans, and tea to go. I opened the box up to take a picture, and was floored. When I unwrapped the sandwich, it had a god awful amount of sauce on the meat (I use the term meat very loosely. It more resembled charcoal), and there was more off the bun than on the sandwich. There was 4 times the slaw (store bought and old) than there was meat. My Where 2 Q friends this was an all time pitiful for someone in the business of selling BBQ. Plain and simple, it sucked!!!! 0/10 The beans were almost as bad. 2/10. Again, I try to be positive, but when a BBQ joint is so bad that I can't eat 1/2 of the sandwich, and almost none of the beans, stay away from here. It is really that bad. I hope you enjoy "your" Q!!!!!

The BBQ sauce had some zing and so did the little old lady behind the lunch counter plating orders! I had the chopped pork plate with baked beans and potato salad. I would have given them five stars but the pork was a little on the tough side. Other than that, I loved it. The service was speedy and friendly and the price easy on the wallet.

A true hole-in-the-wall restaurant that you must visit

I am driving down to Nee Orleans from Yankee country, but as one with southern roots Yelp didn't steer me wrong. This is a great hole-in-the-wall southern BBQ. GET THE FRIED PORK STEAKS WITH CLEAR (BBQ) SAUCE. The food is filling and tasty. The staff (all female grom what i see) is very friendly and exude the southern hospitality well. The waitress didn't ask what I wanted to drink, but rather asked if I wanted sweet tea. The facility is old and run down and there are harsh fluorescent lighting, but I dont care. We're full and satified.

    Taste better than it looks.

Food is always great. Pork steak is the best anywhere. Sauce is great on anything. Not much that isn't good.

After further travel, I cannot recommend the squash dressing if you are on a road trip. You are warned...

The best barbeque around, hands down. The ribs at this place is like no other. Their homemade special barbeque sauce is the magical touch.

Good food, unique sauce makes for a decent experience. The building is a bit run down and the staff isn't great, but the prices are fair.

Well now...let me help some of y'all out because apparently half of Mississippi is driving right…read morepast one of the best BBQ joints around and doesn't even know it! This little place is tucked away off Lakeland Drive, down from Schlotzsky's in that little white shopping center. Blink twice and you'll miss it...and that'd be a crying shame. First things first...that Smash Burger. Son...I about slapped myself just to make sure I wasn't dreaming! I'm telling y'all right now, it's the best smash burger I've ever put in my mouth, and I ain't taking that statement back. Now let's discuss these Trashed Ribs. Sweet baby Jesus riding a smokehouse...WHOEVER came up with these deserves a parade! They are so doggone good they'll make you want to hug the pitmaster. The baked beans? Mercy! If Grandma made beans this good, half the family would've never left home. Best baked beans I've ever eaten, and that's saying something because I've been eating my way across Mississippi for a long time. Now I'll admit, I'm a mustard potato salad fella. Always have been. But even though theirs isn't my usual style, I'd eat a five-gallon bucket of it without apologizing to anybody. The brisket sandwich? Lawd have mercy! Tender enough you don't hardly need teeth. And that Brisket Philly Cheesesteak? If you order it, don't make plans afterward because you're gonna need a nap and probably a testimony. The folks working there couldn't be nicer if they tried. The waitress treats you like you've been neighbors for twenty years, keeps your drink full, and makes you feel right at home. That's the kind of Southern hospitality folks are always talking about. So quit fooling around with the same ol' drive-thrus and chain restaurants. Gas up the truck, tell your wife you're "running an errand," and head over there. Your stomach will be happier than a tick on a hound dog. Y'all can thank me later...but don't tell too many people. I'd still like to find a parking spot!
