The place is disappointing, no wonder pizza huts are closing. I remember when you would enjoy Pizza Hut. Here staff are busy yelling at each other or they are just standing around. Workers have all their buds come hang while they goof off. I guess in this town there may not be many pizza options Staff are slow and when the, I guess lead, tells them to do something they just walk around. Workers go outside just to see their friends and not worry about the customers. Manager tries to rein them in but they don't listen and she does not care. I have nothing but great things to say about this location. From the reviews, it looks as though this location was a total bomb once before. However, this is not the case any longer. I have ordered take out and dined in. My takeout orders have been completely flawless. I order online and the orders are complete so quickly. Sometimes they are done too fast as I'm not even in town yet! I find the drive-thru window is great to pick up orders. Every employee I've encountered through the window has been very polite and professional. Dining in has been excellent. When I have friends or family in town, this is usually the place I recommend. Sure it's a chain, but it is consistent unlike most of the restaurants in town. The wait staff tends to go above and beyond every time I am there. On more than one occasion, the wait staff has been very attentive to my nephew, making sure he doesn't get bored or overlooked...and he isn't at that "cute age" where people flock to squeeze his cheeks. I even had one waiter grab a book from his own backpack to let my nephew browse through it. That's amazing. My only gripe, which isn't this location's fault but rather a national issue, is the salad bar. I'd love to see romaine lettuce and more variety. Looked at Pizza Hut website online. They offered $10 large with 3 toppings. Called this location. "We don't do that offer anymore." Price online for boneless chicken wings (which are glorified chicken nuggets) were 8 wings, not 9 as stated online. $7.99! A $1 for each tiny chunk. Such a rip off. Sayce not given on side as requested, they poured it over top which made them soggy, no longer crispy. read more

Was in town visiting and hadn't had Pizza Hut in a long time so decided to go there. We had a pepperoni pizza, cheese breadsticks and meaty marinara past. It was absolutely the best food we've ever had at a Pizza Hut!! Oh and the service was fantastic! If you're in Elk City you've got to eat there!! read more

My family and I are traveling from Florida and we were hesitant to eat at this location because of the poor reviews. We took a chance and headed in. We were greeted with great customer service! Our waitress Amy was excellent and the pizza was absolutely delicious!! The inside of the restaurant looks like it was just remodeled. As we were leaving we could see them mopping up the back floor. You could tell that this Pizza hut is kept clean. Overall we enjoyed our visit! Don't let the bad reviews scare you off! read more

Done eating at Pizza Hut. Sooooo slow. Took at least an hr to get food, and you would think they would STOP by our table when walking by to see if we need a Refill on our drinks while waiting on food and eating. If you go here to eat never have a older lady named Melissa be your waitress. She gives horrible service, throws food on table, expects you to unload the tray, doesn't keep drinks filled. Asked for manager got "Jack Black" - he defended her saying they were "busy". (The lady had only one other table.) All I have to say is that since Janet quit being the manager that place went straight down the drain. Horrible!!! read more

Would give this zero stars if we could. Rudest service ever! We tried to place an order online and the coupon code wouldn't work. So we called and asked about it. The girl who answered asked us to hold and asked her manager she came back and told us there was nothing they could do. We explained that the coupon didn't expire until the end of the month. She put the manager on and he VERY hatefully told us that there was nothing he could do for us. We took our business down the street to Mazzio's. Honestly the food is constantly good, which is something I appreciate. I like knowing what to expect when we arrive. The staff is a little sketchy though, we have had some mistakes made on our orders and some questionable waiters. They have always made a new item with no questions asked and are genuinely apologetic. read more

My husband and I went to the pizza hut in elk city on a date, the most horrible experience ever! our Server was very polite her name was Nancy I believe she was the most pleasurable part of the experience that we were able to have. However, I over heard this very tall red head lady, even though I thought she was doing a wonderful job, yelling at her in front of not only guests of the pizza hut but also her fellow co-workers. I am assuming that this tall red hair woman was part of the management team however, being the GM. of my own restaurant for over 10 years this is not how you talk to one of your better servers. To be honest you could not pay me to put this Melissa person on my payroll. We have visited this pizza hut many times, this is by far the best of the wait staff I have ever seen. I do know they were very busy because of the storm however her composure was very positive and professional, She let us know the kitchen staff was trying there best to get the orders out in a timely manner. However the way this Melissa went above and beyond to make this girl uncomfortable. I did not like the fact that we could hear her yelling from our table. If they would either keep her in the kitchen away from guests or let her go, this place would be worth visiting again. Until then, they have lost our business because of the foul language and rude behavior of this one woman, and suggest that you avoid it also. would love to give this rating a 0 due to the face of misconduct, however that is not possible so thank you Nancy for doing your best under the pressure.
