Placed an order at 5:15, live less than two miles from this business, but at 7:05 had to call and ask where my order was. I was told it was out for delivery even though the tracker said it hadn't left the business yet. Though my order was supposedly out for delivery at 7 I received an automated text at 7:45 saying it had just left the business. At 8 I called they picked up the line and hung up. I called back they picked up in line and set it on the side. I recorded over 8 minutes of Just Pizza Hut background noise because they didn't want to answer the phones. The end result is I had to go to the business 3 hours later and cancel the order I still had not received. Never again read more

BIRTHDAY MY EYE!!! i received an email from them giving me a free cinnamon sticks for my birthday which i can only redeem online. wonderful thing is, they won't let me sign in. my last attempt with them has them sending me an email telling me i have to get me another email, and create a new account under that email. with their track record, do you think i am going to go through that for and order of cinnamon sticks? not hardly. i will start using the other pizza places. also you can't call the store. they put you on hold for 5 minutes while they tell you all their junk, then tell you to leave a message. pizza hut might as well just shut down as far as i am concerned. read more

I was waiting aboyt 15 outside for contactless curbside and no one came out. I tried calling the store and it took forever to connect and then get transferred on top of everything to that actual location. I have definitely had better from Pizza Hut. We ordered and paid online using the contacless curbside. We chose this option because it was quick and you didn't have to leave your vehicle. The reality however was the opposite. When arrived on time and pared in the first parking spot in front of the restaurant. There were no spots reserved for curbside. The wait time from order to pick up was supposed to be 15 to 25 minutes. We waited 30 minutes before someone decided to even wait on use. Thirty minutes is not so bad given the estimatd time and if they had a long line of people in front of us. That was not the case in our situation. There was no one inline when we arrived. During our thirty minute wait, we watched the line grow to more than four customers and be cleared out. Our order consisted of a a medium veggie lovers pizza ( too much sauce and not enough toppings), cheesy bread, boneless wings, chicken alfredo pasta (sauce was dried out and some of the pasta was hard like it had never been cooked), and cinnamon bread. Read some of the other reviews and the stated disappointment...I recall some issues/wrinkles that needed to be worked out when they first opened but the 1 or 2 times I've been back those seem to have been addressed... Ordered my pizza online. Online states contactless service. Waited until it said ready. I'm 2 minutes from the Pizza Hut. Went to pick it up, sign on door says " No contactless service tonight. Must come in to pick up 2 customers at a time. Ok I'm not happy at all about this. Walk in to pick up order and it's not ready. I had to wait 10 minutes for it. Pizza Hut has come along way since the old school days of dark and seedy, sit down style restaurants that smelled reminiscent of a 1980's roller rink mixed with the everlasting aroma of processed mozzarella cheese. Woof! Ah, yes ... The good old days where dining in at Pizza Hut was a treat (imagine that). We'd go there after trick or treating on Halloween night, or as a reward when I would read a book and get a sticker on my Book-it button. Holy hell! They'd even give you a free personal pan pizza for that, and as an eight-year-old kid having a personal pizza all to my greedy, little self was the holy grail. Okay, I'll stop with my boozy reminiscence of the 1980's Pizza Hut chain. This review is for the current Pizza Hut take-out and delivery in Geismar near Dutchtown High. I agree with reviewers that when this place opened a few years ago it was less than sensational. Orders were either screwed up in some way, or you would wait for like a century to even get your order. My pizzas were always okay, but they did have a tendency to forget my bread sticks or chicken wings which meant I would be stuck there for at least another 20 minutes while they scurried around making them for me. On the bright side, they would usually comp me a free order of cinnamon sticks. Who doesn't like the warm, spicy, fatty gooziness of cinnamon sticks? Cinnamon sticks can even make a traffic ticket or an IRS audit okay, right? Anywho, the Pizza Hut chain in general has upped their game quite a bit and this includes the Geismar establishment. Sometime during late 2014 and into the spring of 2015 this particular Pizza Hut has really come into its own and is now my favorite place for take-out pizza. Pizza Hut is badass in general, and has always been my favorite of the national pizza chains (read my glowing praise for it above. You may even throw up in your mouth a little). Having a clean, efficient, and well run Pizza Hut where the service is friendly and the pizzas are hot right down the road from me is downright fucking awesome. I order pizza from this place about every 10 days or so. Being that I'm a vegetarian who is not particularly fond of vegetables, pizza is a stable in the diet that keeps me living. I don't think this is unique to the Geismar Pizza Hut only, but they now offer some pretty snazzy additions to their pizzas such as Peruvian cherry peppers. Yes! You can now get Peruvian cherry peppers at a fucking Pizza Hut! They sure as hell didn't have that back in the 1980s. Also, for no extra charge you can get a choice from a smorgasbord of gourmet crust seasonings such as Asagio cheese and honey sriracha, or a flavor drizzle over your entire pizza such as Balsamic vinegar, or my favorite: buffalo sauce. Don't knock it until you try it. Hot buffalo sauce is simply divine on top of a cheese pizza with magical Peruvian cherry peppers. You gotta admit that Pizza Hut is certainly putting on the Ritz with their new line of highfalutin, gourmet pizzas. The Geismar Pizza Hut is definitely on board with this. Over the past year they have stopped screwing up my orders. The pizzas, bread sticks, waffle fries, brownies, whatever you order- are hot and ready to go on time. I haven't had any issues with my pizza not being cooked completely. The vegetables are always fresh and as glossy as in the menu pictures. I always get take out and never delivery, but when I go in there to pick up my pizza the service is pleasant. The place clean. Maybe they're under new management, or maybe it's all the Balsamic vinegar and swanky designer pizzas, but someone (the Peruvian cherry pepper fairy perhaps?) has really kicked this place's ass into gear and it shows. read more

This is the WORST Pizza Hut I have ever experienced. The customer service is terrible, pizza is usually lukewarm (and often the order is wrong or missing items), and last time I had to call the store to cancel an order (after waiting 90 min for delivery, after being told 30), and I was on hold over 20 minutes just to cancel it. Had to call back several times as they just put you on hold and don't come back. When they finally did figure out how to cancel it, not even a hint of an apology. And guess what, the driver showed up later anyway! They are routinely out of toppings and crust types, and most of the people working there are rude. I have tolerated them on occasion as they are the only store that delivers to my house and I can order using the app, but after that last order NEVER AGAIN! This store needs to be closed down, it is pathetic. read more

Ordered a pizza to be delivered. The driver got his money and tip then hastily opened the warming bag and quickly handed me the pizza then almost ran away. I thought that he must just have been busy and thought nothing about it. Until I opened the pizza box on the table and discovered my "pizza" looked like it had been carried sideways and dropped at lease three times. I even made eye contact with one of the workers and he just gave me a face and started saying derogatory terms about Mexicans. Our order was sent out and never delivered. After waiting nearly two hours I called Pizza Hut and was told our order was going to be sent out at 9:45. I explained that the app has been saying for over 40 minutes that our order was out for delivery and then was transferred to a woman who told me the driver attempted to deliver our pizza which was a flat out lie because me, my husband and my children were all home. I then asked why I never received a phone call and was lied to once again and she said she did but my phone wouldn't go through. Never received a call. Not to mention nobody's stories over there added up. First it was my order was about to go out then it changed to that it did go out and it was our fault it wasn't delivered. I also asked the woman on the phone that I thought they did contactless delivery which is something that pops up on the app saying the drivers do- she said she wasn't aware of that. I ordered here last month & after a promised delivery of 25 to 30 mins, my food arrived an hour later. Pizza was room temperature & dessert was cold. Spoke with management & was told I would have an automatically issued $10 off credit for next order. Ordered again 2 days ago. Online did not show credit but delivery receipt did. Total was $27.33. The amount charged that I SIGNED receipt for was then credited back to my card & then they recharged my card the full amount w/o the credit AFTER the fact. I've called 3 times. They are trying to make me jump through hoops to get the credit I was promised a month ago. First I was told all these excuses including there's a new system and it wiped out all credits over 90 days. I said it's only been a little over 30 days since my last order. I was then asked send a picture of my receipt to the managers cell, but the call was disconnected before the # was given. I'm in the middle of moving & have no idea where I put the receipt I signed for $27.33 & honestly didn't think I needed a reason to keep it seeing the correct charge on my account online that was later credited & recharged. I told management the driver should have turned in the receipt that I signed & was then told those get filed away and there's no access to it...wait, what? He even went on to accuse the driver of possible tampering w/ the tip amount. I was like no, that's not what happened at all. He went on to say that their biggest complaint is food arriving later than promised & he didn't remember me or issuing me the credit as it happens so often. Obviously, there are very unprofessional & quite frankly, lazy managers running this location & not willing to take care of customers properly & operate in good faith & honorable business practices. I have contacted my bank & disputed the charge, as this is very illegal what they did. You simply can not credit back a charge that was signed for & then recharged a customers card for a higher amount that they did not consent to nor sign for. Ordered pizza on 12/28 at 9:53 pm and literally never got my pizza. The delivery time was 10:25, i waited till 11, called them 3 times and waited on the phone for a total of 30. After this i get in my car and drive to the location that i paid to deliver to my house, only to find out from a contractor that they closed 2 hours early without telling anyone. its now 11:20 am on the 29th, still no pizza, and i have been on hold for 20 min. The pizza obviously wasn't ready and I was very annoyed because I had to be back at work at 11:15. Needless to say, I left without a pizza and will never return to this pizza joint. Do NOT order from this awful place! Long story short, we tried to order using a coupon online, didn't work, so called to see why. The man explained that they weren't taking that coupon anymore and hung up on my husband. My husband called back to place the order over the phone instead, to which a woman answered and said "THIS MOTHER****** is calling again! F*** him!!" And hung up. I was on my way home from work, so I stopped by the store. Manager "attempted" to be helpful, apologized, but would not give me the contact info for the branch manager. He gave me a card that had the branch managers name, with the phone number FOR THE STORE. How am I supposed to get in contact with her that way? I called back, he stated SHE would call ME back...guess who never called?? Domino's it is from now on.
