I ordered the 7-piece meal deal, which should have easily fed three adults and a child, but it turned into one of the most disappointing meals I've ever brought home. The biscuits, normally one of the best parts of KFC, were a complete joke. They were hard as rocks all the way through. I snapped one in half, and it broke like a cracker, spraying crumbs everywhere. They weren't just dry, they were inedible. Whoever boxed those up either didn't care or didn't bother to look. The chicken itself was fine, two large breasts, two small thighs, one leg, and two wings barely bigger than my thumb. The mac and cheese came in a full container and was decent, but the mashed potatoes were another insult. The container was less than half full, maybe two spoonfuls per person. The gravy was okay, but what's the point when there's barely anything to put it on. It's like nobody in that kitchen gives a damn anymore, they know most customers won't waste their time driving back to complain, so they just shove out whatever garbage passes the counter. If this is what KFC calls a meal deal now, they've completely lost touch with what made people love them in the first place.

Getting in and our of the car and walking is painful. I was told at the window that my order was a "portal" order. They told me to park and come in, get a code, punch the code in and retrieve my order from the machine. I explained I am disabled, and that would be quite an issue as well as slightly painful. I asked they punch it in and hand it to me through the window as always. They refused. Since I had already paid for it via online ordering I was stuck so I did what they demanded. I wonder if failing to make such a small accommodation violates the Americans With Disabilities Act? We usually get a couple of orders per month and this must be a new procedure. Now we will not order again until I am assured by the company that I can get my order at the window.
