I just ordered a pizza for delivery. My total was 13 dollars and something and i was told that for delivery the total needed to be 15 dollars or more. So with me having no way to go get the pizza i had to have it delivered or have no pizza at all. After talking to the representative on the phone i ordered a chocolate chip cookie to go with the pizza. When my order was delivered, i asked the driver why and he told me that i was talking to the customer service people instead of the actual restaurant itsself. I think with the way things are today and with me hearing in the news that the restaurants are closing down for dine in going to take out and deliver only that you should take into consideration that there are disabled people and senior citizens out there on fixed incomes that can't drive to come do take outs and have to do delivery, and are also on fixed incomes that cant afford anything more than what they order...like me. I'm disabled on a fixed income. My order with just the pizza by itsself was 13 dollars and something. He told me that it wasn't enuf to deliver (in so many words) so more or less i had to order another item which brought my total to almost 24 or 27 dollars and something...that being with a delivery fee and tax. When i first set out to order this pizza, i didn't want to spend quiet that much but i was hungry and didn't know that i wasn't speaking to the restaurant instead of customer service. Had a large group of friends and family in town , checked their hours to make sure we'd have at least 3 hours for a nice long dinner. APPARENTLY they were " closed " for a few days and were TO LAZY to update their PUBLISHED TIMES. ALSO , to busy with a crap AD based phone system to say WE ARE CLOSED ! I called back and was advised to call later and talk to the manager. FORGET IT! Pizza Hut is an American staple but I see why they are disappearing. we ordered from DoorDash and the poor lady stood there for an hour we tried to call and never got an answer. My mother had to go to the store and the manager and employees were very rude they lost the order and said they weren't going to make it again. worst time ever. This place used to be great but has gone downhill. Maybe it was just an off day for them, but by breadsticks were hard, my marinara sauce was watery and they have now taken away the personal pan lunch special. Almost $14.00 for a personal pan pizza, a small coke and 3 breadsticks. I can order from the lunch menu of the local steakhouse for that price. read more

Fire Robin the manager at 1225 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect from management in my life. I will never order again. I placed an order using the app and then received a notification my order was out for delivery and 44- 45 minutes later it had not arrived. I called Pizza Hut and spoke to Liz who by the way spoke to me the way an employee should speak to a customer. She told the manager it had been 45 minutes and then I am assuming the manager thought I could not hear her in the background, but I heard every disrespectful ugly word she said. She called me liar and huffed and said she knew it had not been that long when my app notification clearly stated it had which I informed Liz of when she put the phone back to her ear. There was more ugly language from the manager but that is what pertains directly to this order and not her spouting off at the mouth. The manager did not speak to me directly, she had the person running the cash register, Liz, speak to me and said it would be there in a few minutes. I said ok but I better not have cold food, or it was going back, and I wanted a refund. Liz said ok and hung up. I waited inside my home for the contactless delivery for 10 more minutes and decided to call back because no one had come to the door or even honked to say my food was delivered. I looked outside in case they were coming and just had not arrived as I live on a fairly straight road so you can see some distance away. I turned around to walk back in my house and my $54.00 pizza order was sitting in a rocking chair uncovered not in any protective plastic and one side of one of the small boxes was folded out and up open a little. Mind you I am having trouble with stray cats urinating the last couple of days in this chair, so my food was sitting on dried cat pee which I had to transfer to my car seat. To this locations benefit they did not know the situation of the chair and I had asked for contactless delivery but they are to ring a doorbell/knock or at least honk I would imagine to announce themselves as I understand it and then set the food down and back away so I can collect it. That did not happen, and they did not come anywhere near my front door because my security camera did not activate. That means they walked to the side of my porch and set my food in the chair and the 2 liters on the porch floor in a plastic bag and left. I had added the tip through the app which I will never do again for any business. I see what I get when that happens. I was furious because I checked the food and it was cold. I called the location and Liz answered put me on hold for the manager and the manager hung up the phone without speaking to me. I thought it might have been an accident, so I called back again and immediately the phone hung up again. I have no idea who answered. I got angrier and waited a few minutes and tried to call back again. This time no one answered, and it sounded like a mute button was pushed and no one answered my many hello's etc. It was dead silence. I was on hold 18 minutes this way with no one speaking to me. It would have been longer but I arrived at the Pizza Hut. I loaded the food into my car and drove to the Pizza Hut and what do I see no one has a mask on, no one has gloves on and some of them are wearing hair nets while others did not (some of them did not need them either). The manager was outside and came in and did not wash her hands. There were a few people in the back laughing and saying the word damn but drawn out that never came out, so I don't know about those individuals. I am a compromised individual with a spine injury among other things and two children one with breathing issues, so I have a very good reason to ask for contactless delivery and to be wary. The manager comes out of the back and up to the register after walking in the back where pizzas are made, and I simply say I want a refund. I was not ugly, hateful or anything. I hate a flat toned voice. I was wearing a mask though. I am sure my facial expression made her aware I was less than pleased. She continued her ugly smart-ass hateful tone and speech she was using from when she was speaking in the background while I spoke to Liz and said I don't see your receipt. I told her if she lifted her hand up she would find it because I had handed it to Liz who had told whomever in the back it is the Wallen order and someone in the back yelled for Robin and Liz sat it down on the counter. I recount this to her. I am saying now I was not a nice customer after this point I yelled because I was livid and could not believe she would speak to a customer like she was and had hung up on me the way she did.
