The steak tips were tender and good, and the potato was really good, but he did not care for the coleslaw(prefers a finer chop). I had the steak tip salad, and it was very good. The steak on top of the salad was tender and delicious and perfectly cooked. The salad itself was also pretty good. I got a few of the courser bottom of the lettuce head pieces that I didn't eat, but it was pretty easy to just fish those out and there was plenty more to eat. The dining room was clean and larger than I expected. This was an excellent stop on 231 heading south! Please give this place a try! One thing to note was the restrooms are actually through a side door into the gas station.
