I ordered a Chicago style (they call it Tavern) pizza with sausage, onions and peppers to go. While it's not exactly what we are used to, it's pretty close. It is cut into squares and super crispy. I hate to be the person to admit that the best pizza around for delivery in North Port is Pizza Hut. At least in my eyes. They are always quick with the delivery. If you live in SWFL permanently, you understand that during Season, you will do anything in your power to avoid going out when not necessary. So, to have pizza delivered to my house in 30 minutes, hot and fresh, and avoid traffic, we have a winner. All the delivery people are friendly and polite. Unbelievable! I ordered a pizza today at 3:21 PM for a 5:30 delivery. The driver delivered the pizza at 6:00, 1/2 hour late. I asked her why it was late and she said "I don't know ". I took it in the house, opened the box and it was cold. I took the pizza, ran out of the house and caught the driver before she left and told her it was cold. She said the box feels hot. I told her to feel the pizza. She just said she would call in a new order. I called myself and spoke to Abby. Abby said I would get a new pizza and a refund. At 7:18 I went outside to walk my dog and a pizza was sitting at the front door. I have no idea when it got there. It had obviously been quite awhile since it was colder than the first pizza. No knock on the door, nothing to let me know it was there. I called them and spoke to another woman. She said Abby had left for the day. I told her the story and she said Abby doesn't have the authority to issue refunds. I said I want a new pizza. She said I put what she called a no contact on my account. I told her I have no idea what she's talking about. I ordered the pizza as I always do. She said again that I put a no contact on my account and they would not replace the pizza. I again said I have no idea what you are talking about. At that point she hung up on me. I called back and an older man answered. I told him I was just hung up on and again explained the details of what happened. He also said I put a no contact on my account. I told him I wanted another pizza. He refused , told me he was busy and there was nothing he could do about it. I said I order from them regularly and I've never been treated this way and told him I was going to call their headquarters and also put the payment in dispute with my credit card. He said again he's busy and hung up on me. Now I have a cold pizza at 8:00 PM that was supposed to be here at 5:30. This is unacceptable to me and I will contact their headquarters. This is the last time I will order from Pappa Johns. Outrageous the way I was treated. read more

I'm so upset with the manager at Pizza Hut on W. Price Blvd right now. I should have looked at the last time this place was reviewed BEFORE I placed my order. I called about my pizza being made incorrectly and missing items. I explained how half had this and the rest had that on it. The person on the phone proceeded to tell me that she was the manager and that she had made the pizza herself so it had to be correct. I, even, bowed down and said that maybe items shifted during cooking but the pizza had whole everything and half nothing. She began to yell at me repeating that she had made the pizza correctly. Then, she yelled that she was going to have her driver come and pick up the pizza and make me another. Of course, I explained that she COULD NOT make me anything with the attitude she had because I didn't trust it. Also, I told her I was going to find out who her supervisor was because of how poor her customer service was. She yelled that his name was "Dave" and I just said goodbye at that point. I guess "Dave" is ok with customers being treated like crap by his managers. Needless to say, I won't be eating anything from Pizza Hut on W Price Blvd ever again. And, I will definitely be sure to communicate the same to my family friends. read more

My favorite is the pan pizza with "Hut Favorite" flavored crust. It's SO GOOD! And the delivery people have always been really nice. The pizza is ok not very consistent at all. It almost like getting a surprise you really don't know what is in the box. They definitely need to work on phone edict so rude. Also you will wait so long for your food if you get a delivery so if you have hungry kids plan on making a snack because you will be waiting a while. We order made once a month so I'm not saying this after one bad experience this place has a reputation around here.The poor service is the only consistent thing they are known for at my apartment complex.
