Annoying as hell. LOCATION/AMBIANCE The buffet is up front near the kitchen and the register which in theory makes sense, but it's awkward to know where to stand as you wait for takeout. They support the local high school athletes. There are birthday party rooms for reserve. Also on that side are the coin-operated arcade games. THE GRUB One of my little cousin's karate dojo was having a fundraiser here on 2/27/2023. We ordered the following: - large pepperoni pizza on Italian crust (carryout deal via phone order = $5.99) - large Alfredo cheese pizza with Italian sausage ($18.99) - 15-piece bone-in zesty wings ($25.99) Their pizza dough is "house-made fresh all day." They have 20+ pizza variations or you may "create your own." Some vegetarian options as well as a garden salad, pastas & desserts. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUBI'll update this part when I find out how much the kid's buffet price is. Other than that, they offer individual-sized (personal) pizzas. SERVICE Friendly. Just on the snail-paced side sometimes. MY FAVORITE PART... The "Italian crust." Their chicken wings are huge! NOT SO FAVORITE PART... Their slow tendencies... TIP They have a drive-thru window and a couple of takeout order-only parking spots. This place is a piece of crap. Try to leave an online order, they send you to an app, that you pay a $5 fee too. Turns out, they deliver the pizza. They quickly extort a tip of your card and charge you 2 fees. Too tip it off, the app they send you too only takes orders for toppings on half a pizza. I Paid $34 FOR HALF A CHEESE PIZZA. I called the store hoping to get this rectified, they said they can't do anything because it was a 3rd party delivery service that they deliver for. They also recommended i call in directly next time. Yes, I was irate. This is BS. Pizza Inn in Hobbs NM is running a scam. This is no way to run a business. Ok, so for what is available in Hobbs, this is about it for a pizza place. We've come a few times, and I would recommend going at lunch hour. Dinner rush, it seems they care more about phone orders than the customer in the store. Getting a drink refilled at dinner is a pain. It wasn't even busy inside, that is what makes it worse. The buffet is OK for the kids, but order your own if you want a decent pizza. The buffet stuff doesn't seem to be cooked all the way. They are just trying to keep the people content. Put out large, not medium, and maybe you wouldn't have to replace it so quickly. Counted a total of 14 people inside. Not busy at all, but the buffet was still empty, salad bar empty, secondary items old. When we came for lunch, it was a lot better. So it's hard not to go past 3 stars. The game room is honestly pathetic. I've seen more games at truck stops in better condition. So if you want a Hobbs pizza, I guess this is it, unless you're a franchise afficionado like the Hutt or the Dom. read more

This business will kick you out and refuse service to you if you have someone who is disabled and brings in their own food. We went in there on 5/15/24 at 1:45pm for lunch, and we had our disabled son with us. His diet is different and can't eat the food made there so he had food with him to join us and we were told to get out since we had outside food with us. We let the waitress know he's disabled and she said "we don't care, you need to leave!". As she was asking the management about the situation the manager also said to leave. This establishment is disgusting how they discriminate against people with disabilities! read more

the food is honestly ok but my issue is the service, my little brother collects the free mini pizza coupons from his school and one day my WHOLE FAMILY went like 20 people and we all got the buffet. My mom went to redeem the coupons and the lady didn't want to give us a box for the mini pizzas, SHE WANTED TO CHARGE US 50 cents for 1 box.That made the ambience so horribly bad because that lady was honestly rude, my whole 20 family members got mad because we brought in a lot of business but can't be given a to go box. We are normally big Pizza Inn fans. However, we're disappointed tonight with our delivery pizza. The meaty max , which is a specialty pizza and therefore costs more, had less toppings than the non-specialty pizza! I have found that toppings have been scant for a while. Other than that, pizza was delivered sooner than time given. Pleasant interaction all around. Pizza tasty but just not enough toppings. read more

Birthday party! We held my 5yo's birthday party at the party room at Pizza Inn. We've used it several times. The staff was nice and fairly attentive. The room was clean. It's nothing extra but can be decorated nicely. The only complaints are that the pizza was over cooked and barely edible. I didn't get a chance to eat and didn't realize until party is almost over. Second, the room was not set up or ready at all, when we arrived. Despite confirming the reservation two days prior. Overall, we eat at Pizza Inn a lot and the pizza is usually better. read more

Ordered online. General Manager called me and was very nice, but informed me that they don't serve Diet Coke anymore, so I asked for a Dr. Pepper in its place. The delivery guy showed up, not saying two words to me, with a HOT SPRITE. Ugh, but honestly, the food is ok for this area. I don't know what it is about Hobbs, but I only receive a correct order *maybe* 30% of the time-no matter the restaurant. Unfortunately, the mozzarella sticks were bland and came with ZERO sauces, even though marinara was indicated on my order. The delivery guy rushed off before I even had a hold of my food, let alone in time for me to check my order before he drove off. Lastly- why cover a classic like spaghetti and meatballs with a giant heap of pizza cheese? Just not sure about that choice. Hrm... Definitely not my favorite. Even in this town. read more

Not the worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life but REAL close. The buffet is pathetic. Do they even know what "buffet" means? I should probably blame New Mexico public schooling. The sauce is horrid. I'm trying to guess who's sweaty socks it came from. The pizzas had obviously been sitting out for hours. The salad bar wasn't too bad but I definitely wondered how long it had been sitting out. I am not surprised that my friend and I are the only 2 people in the "restaurant" not wearing a Pizza Inn shirt. I'm never-the-less amazed at what Hobbs considers "food". This place has the best pizza and pizzerts (pizza dessert) I've had in a long time! It's a mom and pop shop with great food and not so great service. We came in, completely untreated by the staff of at least 7 and every single person looked and starred as we walked in confused. We seated ourselves and then after going up front to ask, we found out that a server takes your drink order and brings your ticket and THEN you go up and pay! It was a little frustrating since we are not from here and didn't receive offered guidance but the taste of the food made up for that really quick! I had taco pizza, green chile pizza and potato bacon pizza (whaaat?) and they were all DELICIOUS!! Then I found the boneless ribs, bbq smoked sausage and of course mac and cheese, and they were all so delicious! What can I say? By far some of the worst pizza I've had. The crust was very obviously made somewhere else. The cheese was... Not good. The sauce was somehow bitter and bland at the same time. I didn't pay for it. (Came here for a party) The place was big. They have two separate areas for parties plus regular seating. One of said area had games you can play. Which was nice. Overall I had a nice time. But I certainly wouldn't come back here for the pizza. read more

Pizza Inn's food is pretty consistent. I like the sauce better than Pizza Hut. Their online ordering never seems to work. Dining in is pretty noisy and the place is a little worn. Delivery is timely and good. You an also have birthday parties in a reserved party room for the kids free there. You just have to order the pizza. read more
