Even worse than when the new owners first took over. We ordered 2 pizzas, a white one with spinach and a 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni, both large. On white white one, there was hardly any sauce and both the sauce and cheese stopped 2.5 - 3 inches from the edge. In other words, we ordered a large, got a large crust but got the sauce, cheese and toppings of a small. It was the same on the 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni. There was hardly any sauce it seemed like they painted it on as thinly as possible, what sauce there was actually extended to about 1/2 inch from the edge but the cheese and pepperoni stopped about 2 inches from the edge and for the pepperoni there were about 4 per slice. None of that is normal. The crust has zero flavor and when such a large amount is left exposed it becomes like card board. That lack of flavor isn't offset by the sauces since they use so little and stop it so far from the edge. I gave them another chance. Never again. They charged me for large pizzas and gave me large flavorless crusts with very little sauce and toppings. I'll drive further for something better in the future. read more

I recently went to pizza man for the first time, it was the worst service I've ever had!! Our server forgot our drinks and overall just did not want to do her job. When our food came out you can tell it was just sitting there for quite sometime because the temperature was Luke warm at best. The whole time we were waiting for the drinks she forgot she was laughing and talking to her coworkers. We waited at least 20 minutes for our check that never came. We had to get up and ask a different person who did end up helping us. Overall service sucked. One star is pushing it. read more

Never been disappointed here. Great pizza and appetizers. Wish they hadn't gotten rid of the boneless chicken bites. Loved the teriyaki ones! Food is always ready on time or before it's supposed to be. Parking lot can be a pain to get in and out of when busy. read more

Stopped for lunch , had large light sauce , mushroom & onion pizza ... no complaints it was your typical bar pizza. Husband had lg italian sub , was pretty big he only ate half. We took left over pizza & sub to go. Waitress was nice and food came out fast , my only disappointment was no pasta meals on the menu , the signage said Pizza Man Restaurant & bar . My pizza took an hour last nighbut I was told that. When it was handed to me at the door, I accepted the box whic h was soaking wet - was it set down on a wet surface? Had not rained yesterday. The dough was tough like a bad steak. The four vegetables were okay but would have been better if they'd been cooked with sauce under them. The toss salad was good. I transferred the pizza to sit on the interior side which was dry. The pizza was delivered on SOAKED, wet cardboard. Should have ordered from Dominos or gone to Giovannis on Route 3A. Another fantastic pizza. Pizza was delivered on time. I ordered a 16" with light sauce, pepperoni, black olives and banana peppers. As always, they paid attention to details; by the way, the delivery driver was very polite as well. With such a great pizza, how can you not have a nice evening? They are not the cheapest by any means. However, you'll receive a fresh and well made product, and a atmosphere that is grateful and happy for your business. Good value and service. Second time eating here. The first time my wife and I both got a calzone. Great taste, good crust ample fillings. Went last night and she again got calzone and unfortunately I got pizza. Again she was happy with her food. My pizza was mediocre at best. Texture of the crust was similar to that of a frozen pizza. The toppings were sparse (ham & pineapple). Perhaps the cook had to personally pay for what goes on the pizza. Not much sauce and not much taste to the sauce that was there. We'll go elsewhere next time. read more

We use to go here every Friday, then every Thursday because Friday was too busy. We LOVED their pizza, subs an calzones. The original owners sold a couple months ago and it has gone down hill fast! We have gotten a pizza three different times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.. just no. The once perfect pizza is now a soggy, greasy mess. The center part of the crust is so thin it doesn't exist, we always order it extra crispy and that doesn't even help. They also removed the garlic shaker from the tables. The sandwiches have 1/3 of the meat they once use too. I can't say for sure but it seems the brand of meat has changed, not for the better. They Turkey didn't taste the same last time and I can see the types of meat in the Italian are different. I have never seen my boyfriend eat an entire large sub from here, now he has no problem polishing off a large chicken Parm sub. The once stuffed calzones are now so thin you can pick them up and eat them with your hand. You could NEVER do that before. They have also changed to franks buffalo. The original buffalo was amazing and made in house! Now it's not even worth it. The Buffalo chicken calzone use to be a favorite! We are now back on the hunt for good pizza, subs and calzones. read more

On a trip to Bass Pro shop we swung in to check out The Pizza Man. I was excited to see vegan lasagna and Shepard's pie on the menu to reheat but they didn't have any available. Ordered - French fries surprisingly were a 10/10 except the little cup of ketchup was some off the wall brand name and was disgusting. Otherwise they were very yummy. Tater Kegs - 2/10 overall. They were just blah. Flavorless. Friendly Toast offers something very similar and they taste much better. Owner should give theirs a try. 8 in vegan pizza...I was excited that they offered vegan cheese except the pizza dough was disgusting. Thin. Flavorless. Very blah. I would say a 5/10. 5 stars only because they had a vegan options. 18 in chicken bacon ranch pizza - 5/10. Crust was very thin, flavorless. Nothing to it. The toppings were just kinda thrown on. Some pieces barely had anything on them. The bacon was so paper thin. Also ordered a meatball sub. Will update after it's eaten. For over $70 this meal wasn't worth it. May come back for French fries but that's about it! read more

Amazing food!!! Great energy from staff as well!! Stopped by on our way home from our vacation in NH and was very pleasantly surprised!! Wings were INSANE! Meat practically falling off the bone!! I got the Chicken Broccoli Ranch pizza, I wish my stomach could hold more room so I could inhale it!!! My boyfriend got the steak and cheese and he loved it as well. Don't go here if you are on a budget! We were visiting the area for the night, and this popped up as a pizza place. Looked online and it looked reasonable. We called in our order, picked up curbside, and had paid over the phone. We looked at the receipt and STICKER SHOCK! The items were not priced as listed on the menu, and on our receipt we were charged a "supply charge", that we were not made aware of prior to placing our order. Each food item was up-charged $2 each. The pizza was really good, and our overall experience was positive, it just would have been nice to be made aware of the surcharge! read more

I just posted the following comments on a survey this establishment sent me after our order tonight...which, by the way, was 1 large 2 topping pizza, 1 small chicken finger sub, 1 Greek salad (nothing added/no meat), and 1 order of fries FOR 80 DOLLARS!!! Tonight was the last straw, as we've noticed the changing of ingredients for lower-cost options lately. We were willing to pay higher prices when the portions and quality justified the prices, but no more. Survey Response: You are going to lose your loyal customer base with all your recent changes. Cheaper ingredients and smaller portions with extremely high prices will spell failure for your restaurant. You've made the fatal mistake of thinking you're the only game in town. We've been customers for over 10 years, ordering several times a month. We stayed through all the schedule changes after the serious accident one of the owners had; we stayed through the insane price increases during COVID (which never came back down by the way); but it's insulting to think we'll keep paying these prices while portions are getting smaller and food quality is diminishing. Venice, Pizza Market, and Seasons Ticket all deliver the same items we typically order. Got a cauliflower crust pizza... do not order this unless you're satisfied receiving something more along the lines of stuffing (that you need to eat with a spoon!) instead of a pizza. See photo. Terrible. Only did 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. Also got the taco pizza and it was less than great. Absolutely do NOT recommend this place. So I've been going down here for a few years now. When the previous owners owned the pizza man, the pizza was awesome! Now, not so much now, If you like a pizza that is greasy, and drowned in pizza sauce then this is the place for you. The turkey subs are good, the BLT's have way too much bacon and the wraps can be soggy and not what you ordered at times. Bottom line, I don't recommend the pizzas. I went down there for good conversation with other fellow patrons and to chat with Crystal, the bartender who has a huge heart for people and for her customers and who would do anything to help you out if needed and who actually cares about the safety of others.. But unfortunately she was let go due to irreconcilable differences, such a shame after being there for nearly 10 years. I myself as well as a lot of people are deeply saddened. I/we will miss the Pizza man on Friday and Saturday nights. Since the change of ownership and with the cost increases I will certainly save a few bucks. $11.00 for a shot of whiskey. Oh, and watch out for the kitchen staff if you wind up staying past closing they will stare you down until you leave. read more

We have always loved Pizza Man and frequented often. Yes it's a bit pricey but we never complained about the delicious pizza and huge menu. Until recently. First- it's NEVER OPEN. They are only open 4 days a week and that's when they are not on vacation for a month at a time randomly. Second- the "hostess" is mean. I wanted to sit in the bar area but they have only 4 tables now that are full service. Which means that if they are full, you have to sit elsewhere, order food with the hostess and pay, then go to the bar and order and pay. So two stops. The hostess was rude and insisted on giving my daughter her meal to go even though we said she was eating there when a bar area seat opened up. After she plopped the to go bag on our table, I even had to ask her for a plate, fork and napkin. She clearly wanted us gone. The bartender even apologized to us as we are (WERE) frequent customers. That says a lot. Avoid this place at all costs. Sad that Hooksett doesn't have anymore sit down options on 3A!!!!!!! We won't be back after being years loyal. read more

Went there Saturday evening 9/26/20 with my friend, my teenage daughter and her 3 friends. First situation we encountered was the only handicap accessible parking spot by located between the outside host station and outside dining area, not accessible to park. Many problems after that, right up to our departure. I will give one praise though, our pizza was amazing, although girls pizza was not. Unfortunately, after the the inaccessibility for a disabled patron and the horrible way we were treated, I won't return or recommend again. On a whim for staff meetings, I was on the search for the best gluten free pizza. And let me tell you, this didn't disappoint! The first time I ordered I got the regular pizza for my staff and it wasn't fully cooked, but they loved it; the second and third times I got it cooked extra. I like my pizza crispy, so gluten free cooked extra is literally the BEST pizza around! I have missed in person staff meetings just to get this pizza (my staff have said so in zoom meetings too!) I highly recommend for gluten free pizza. I personally can't comment on other stuff, but I trust my staffs judgement! read more

So I've been a long time supporter of the Pizza Man in Hooksett and we've been going for Years. But now with a new owner there's many issues and stuff isn't the same to the old regulars get ready and don't have high hopes. With the new owners comes higher prices and less food for more money. For example the old 18 inch pizza is now 16 inch for more money also the crust isn't the same. Also it's all new staff and they look like they don't even want to be there. Plus don't question anyone there or they'll give you lip & attitude. For example I was there today and on my way out someone popped there head out of the kitchen and blew vape smoke right in my face and didn't really look like she cared I got to know most of the old staff and they would never do that or act that way. This is not the Old Pizza Man we all used to know and love but buckle up because it's just not the same. I really hope with new ownership they can change the way stuff has taken a turn quickly and save the Pizza Man we all love. read more

Ok. So it's Friday night. I get it. It can be a bit busy. That's expected. But the place wasn't that busy, considering. We were a party of 3. Two adults, one child (7yo). At first the server was very nice. Joking around, friendly banter. Drinks came quickly. Ordered as soon as we received our drinks. It then took almost 40 minutes to receive our food. Mind you it was a simple Greek salad, a kids pizza and a sub. The sub was ordered to add tomatoes and mayo. When we finally got our food it had zero mayo and zero tomatoes. We sent it back. She came back 10 minutes later with the same sub with tomatoes sprinkled on top and a side of mayo. The kitchen insisted that the mayo had "melted into the bread since it was toasted." Mhm. No, guys. There was no mayo to begin with. But, okay. Took forever to get boxes and the check. The server was less friendly and seemed to avoid us because she knew we weren't happy. All in all the food was just okay. Nothing spectacular. And the service was what it was. We won't be going back. read more

Amazing gluten free and dairy free options. I've heard the owner has Celiac and that everyone is carefully trained in allergy protocols. The menu marks what toppings can be made gluten free. The dairy free cheese is delicious. Being gluten free and dairy free it's rare that I can safely get a delicious pizza! They also have gluten free large sub rolls so you can get a giant sandwich too! Edit to add - if you are vegan or dairy free make sure to ask for the vegan pizza sauce. The regular sauce has Parmesan in it. read more

This place has worked HARD to service their customers and keep their employees earning money through Covid. They have taken many precautions and did modifications to how they do business to protect their customers and keep business running. Also, if you are on the email list they are regularly reaching out with heartfelt updates on the owner. You know that they care. Food?
