We were passing through and were staying at a hotel not too far away from Pizza Milano. Yelp searched for late dinner as it was after 9PM and Pizza Milano came up as "open". Ordered a large pizza with (1/2 cheese & 1/2 veggie) and it was absolutely delicious. They piled the veggies high on our pizza and the cheese side too was amazing. We sat and ate our pizza in their dining room and it hit the spot!!! I even asked for extra onions and they were even generous with them too. Saint Clairsville is a beautiful town, driving along main street was like driving through the set of a Hallmark Christmas movie set in a small town. Just breath taking. Pizza Milano should get 3.5 stars. Pizza is average to above average. Service was quick, prices are reasonable. Stopped by this place on a road trip to DC, it's a small place located in the seemingly downtown area of this smaller town. It's a very small place- two tables, a bathroom way in the back, basically a take out place. The prices here are pretty fair, especially for the personal options which other restaurants will really jack up the price on sometimes. The service is friendly and fast. We got a buffalo chicken pizza and a small cheese pizza. First of all, the crust is godly, beautiful mix of being crunchy and soft, truly one of the best crusts we've had. The cheese pizza had a tomato sauce that was fresh and delicious, great flavor and the perfect amount to complement the cheese. Honestly, one of the best cheese pizzas I've had. Ever. The buffalo chicken had a ranch-based white sauce, which was good, but I personally would've preferred more buffalo sauce to balance it out, as sometimes the ranch was overwhelming. The chicken was pretty good, but would've been better if (once again) it was been covered in buffalo sauce beforehand. The crust, as mentioned, was amazing. Biggest draw back is that because this place is mostly take out, they don't have any real utensils or plates. Paper plates, plastic utensils. I'm not picky, but if you eat pizza with a fork and knife (like me and my parents), it's hard to cut the crust without breaking the utensils and the hot pizza melted the plastic fork. I'm from Chicago and we know about pizza very well. I order a medium pizza I requested the dough a little well done like crispy and it wasn't. The ingredients were poor quality maybe I'll give credit to Papa Johns who has better ingredients than Milano's ! The pizza was terrible like eater a shoe sole with ketchup I don't know if is the water or perhaps they don't know how to make pizza dough, I'm very disappointed the tomato sauce tasted more like ragú sauce the cheese tasted like cheap process you get from Aldis store is not the real cheese it doesn't stretch like it supposed to. Last year, yes a yr. ago,, got a pizza delivered. It was BURNT, SOGGY, and so thin, the sauce come through the bottom of the box.. Called and the MGR. [ so she said she was ] said she'd put my name in the " book" and when i was ready for another pizza. just give them my name,, 4 months later i called and yeah, you guessed it, my name was no where to be found. I posted that on out bulletin board in my complex for people to buy else where. My son and I stopped in from out of town to grab a quick bite while the family was in St. C visiting relatives. The small pepperoni pizza was great. I really like the small pepperoni that curl up and get crispy on the edges. The crust was slightly crispy on the edge and doughy but cook to perfection. We are originally from Youngstown OH but travel for work and we have NEVER found pizza as good as Youngstown's. Pizza Milano, however, is the best we have found while traveling! Great sauce and crust! The delivery drivers are always friendly and the employees who answer calls are always nice. You can't beat it! Just an update, the past two delivery orders we've received have been wrong. We always order from here when we're in town. Fantastic wings are tender and meaty. We love the garlic sauce option. We've also ordered the meatball calzone which is delicious, and the Italian hoagie is also good. This used to be my favorite pizza place, but like everything else in 2020 it's gone downhill fast. The pizza is completely inconsistent in crust thickness, taste, and quality. Service is mediocre at best. The last straw was tonight. We were told our order would be delivered in 25-30 min. Called after 55 minutes and we're told it just went out the door. Another 20 minutes goes by (we live maybe 5 min from the place, and that's if you go slow)...still nothing. Called to cancel the order, and we're now told they'll make a fresh pizza and deliver it right away at no charge. In under 10 min, driver shows up with a lukewarm, dried out, burnt pie. Driver admitted they didn't make a fresh pizza, but it was obvious without that confirmation. It WAS free - which was the first honest thing they said tonight. The pizza was very good. Very very close to Marco's pizza that has a chain from Toledo down to Cinci. The product was not the issue. I picked up and waited for my pizza to be made. I watched the manager take my cash and others and then go over to make the pizzas without washing his hands or no gloves. Also watched employees take out trash and then come back in to make pizzas-no gloves or washing...I watched employees rub their noses and make pizza. Place was very dirty. Walls have stains from spills, dirt on floors and in cracks etc. Just very dirty all the way around. I feel like this would make a Gordan Ramsey(sp) show. Turned off from what I saw. I was on a work trip and had planned it around stopping at the Picnic Pizza in Zanesville for dinner. But the trip didn't go well, and the guy I was with didn't want to stop there, so we went straight to a motel instead and I got on Yelp looking for the best Italian food I could find in St Clairsville. Pizza Milano was the top result. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken pizza. It was pretty well flawless. Buffalo Chicken pizzas - I love a good one but they're easy to make not good since there are so many different strongly flavored components. This was the best one I have had since moving away from Pikesville MD and the Pizza Man five years ago. Maybe even better than that. The toppings were well selected and carefully, evenly spread out across the pizza, without too much or too little of any of them. But the crust? Possibly THE single most delicious pizza crust I've ever eaten. Wonderful texture, shreds of cheese all the way out to the edge so it cooked up crispy, just a little bit chewy but not too much, surprisingly light... The crust collapses a bit overnight so it's not as good the second day, but by "not as good" I mean maybe down from a 10/10 to a 9.2/10. Next time I'm in St Clairsville in the evening I'll be trying a different flavor of pizza, and I'm eagerly waiting for the minute. read more

First of all let me start by saying this is not real pizza. I have traveled all over the country and outside of it and this has to be one of the worst pizzas I have ever tasted. I ordered 3 pizzas and they all came out horrible. It was so bad my children who live off pizza did not eat it. I came straight back to the establishment from my hotel when I realized how disappointing it was. I did not receive a refund. First the girl said she would reverse the transaction but then the owner apparently looked at me through CCTV and changed his mind. Im guessing since I don't look like everyone else there that became a problem. I didn't understand at first I could have got my money back at first then when he saw me I couldn't get it. Then he tried to tell me no one gives refunds, which is false. I have returned pizza for things being wrong with it and real establishments, and have been refunded before. The pizza is inconsistent, then 2 pizzas where semi burnt and the other wasn't cooked enough. It's ridiculous. On top of it being dry with practically no sauce. The owner then proceeded to tell me he never had a problem in 20 years. I don't know if his customers never experienced real pizza or they just messed with mine purposely since I am of a different nationality but either way that was not an edible pizza. I wouldn't feed it to a stray dog. After he kept telling me he couldn't refund me I left it there with them. It was a complete waste and stomach turning experience for my family something that tastes as horrid as that should not claim to be real Italian pizza. I was I'm Italy from 10 years old until I was 19 and am fluent with the language. This place is a sham and does not come remotely close to what it should be. I am upset I couldn't get my money for the disastrous pizza, but I would rather leave it there with them to eat or throw away then feed it to my children. read more

I recently moved to the area from the much larger metropolis, Columbus, OH. Columbus has A LOT of pizzerias and it took years to find my favorite. I became VERY spoiled with amazing pizza and thought I would never find a place I would love as much. THEN I tried Pizza Milano. OMG! Heaven!! Not only do I love it.. I love it MORE than my favorite shop in Columbus. I'm pretty small ( about 115 lbs) and I have put away an ENTIRE large pizza in one sitting because I just couldn't quit eating it. It is amazingly fresh and extremely affordable! I'd pay triple the price without complaint!! It's worth it! Don't stop at JUST the pizza.. the menu is full of delicious items! Even warned up the next day... Would recommend it highly as I am a very picky girl when it comes to food quality and service. We were craving pizza and it was Memorial Day. Our regular pizza place was closed so we went here. Not much room inside to eat but we placed an order to go and even though they were super busy they had it ready in no time. I asked for them to turn one of their specialty pizzas to a calzone and they were very happy to accommodate. The pizza and calzone were both very good. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it was worth ordering again and better than most pizza places in the are. The service was the best I've had in the area hands down!!!! read more

Wasn't happy at all. I live less than one mile away from this place and they took forever first of all. The pizza was luke warm and soggy. After this, I decided to order from DiFelice near West Texas Roadhouse. They had my Lisa to me in a timely manner, the pizza was so hot I had to wait to eat it cause it was burning my mouth! The crust was delicious and crunchy as well. Keep in mind they're about 15 minutes away. Milano's pizza was just sad and has lost its touch. We are traveling and decided on this place since the reviews were good. We ordered the Spinach, chicken, with garlic white sauce. It took an hour for our delivery to come. The delivery guy was very nice and the pizza was hot. Unfortunately it had bland flavor and the spinach tasted like it was from a can, not fresh at all. It also over whelmed the whole pizza.
