Good pizza place and one of the only real reasons to go inside this dated mall aside from a handful of stores and an arcade. They offer a variety of toppings and the base sauce is not too sweet which is something that you seem to find in places around Ohio outside the cities. It's not really New York style or Chicago style just a pizza place trying to do their thing. Staff is friendly and even though it's not very big, sitting in the dinning area has a cozy low light ambiance. They don't maintain a great online presence but it's my understanding that soon they will no longer be inside the mall. read more

I love it here. The man that owns the place is great and I love chatting with him. Food is delicious and well priced. It's located inside of a mall and I come visit every time I am in town. I have been eating at Fabio's for years... My mom actually worked there back when it was under the name Scotto's pizza. It's been a stable at the Ohio Valley mall since I can remember, and the food always hits the spot, especially dipping the garlic rolls in French dressing before diving into my antipasto salad! I was amazed that this place only had 3.5 stars. My family goes out of our way to eat this amazing pizza. Crust is chewy and crunchy, sauce is saucy and not too sweet. The food is always good. The fountain drinks are much too small. $ 3.00 for a large which is most all restaurants medium at best. Refills are 50 cents. Service is all over the place. I have had poor service during early lunch time and fantastic service in the evening. 5 for the food 2 and 4 for service and 3 for pricing. read more

Our main goal to place for pizza. We live nearby so we carry out. We usually get a thin crust white pizza with veggies and chicken and it's topped off with ricotta cheese. Also like their red sauce pizza with green peppers and meat balls. Very generous topping portions. The antipasto salad is very good too. Nice family business inside the Ohio Valley Mall. I mean I have to leave at least one star to post this review. This place is literally terrible. Walked in and told them I needed a few mins to look over the menu since I've never been there before, the guy said okay and stared at me the whole time and said "are you ready yet?" after 2 mins of me reviewing the menu in the crappiest tone. When I told him no, he rolled his eyes and sighed very loud. I finally ordered and I should've just told him to surprise me, because that's exactly what he did. Didn't get a single thing right in my order. Got a side salad with ranch when I asked for Italian. Asked for a pepperoni and cheese Stromboli and got one loaded w peppers and some kind of meat. Also got asked "you can read that sign"? When walking to the back side seating area because apparently they were about to mop. I didn't see the sign because it was hidden behind the poorly located trash can and there were 3 different families at tables back there so I didn't think they were gonna mop asap. I told the lady on shift that I wanted Italian and not ranch and she rolled her eyes and slid me a container of Italian across the counter like I was the problem. Anyways, won't say any more because this is already long enough, but this establishment has some terrible people working there and I won't be coming again. Waste of $11 FOR SURE. read more

Pizza was ok, but the spaghetti and meatballs were horrible. So much water in the spaghetti, didn't get my meatballs until I had to remind the waitress as well as my cheese. When I tried to eat it, the spaghetti was mushy, like it was left in water way too long. read more

Great, fresh, non-chain pizza. We had the white pizza and it was terrific--plenty of garlic and a nice, crisp crust. It's in the mall, just inside the doors closest to the main road off the interstate. Drive 1/4 mile past the run-of-the mill restaurants and have some great pizza! read more

I'll just start off saying this is my favorite pizza shop hands down. There are plenty of other shops in the area that I enjoy, but just something about their pizza keeps me coming back. This shop is located right inside the Ohio Valley Mall and you can't make it past the main concourse without passing this shop. The location itself is not very large. Probably about 15-20 booths located inside, but there have been tables placed outside in the past couple years, making it easier to find a place to sit. They have a recent remodel, which did not expand the store, but was more an aesthetic update. They have so many types of pizza, from thin crust (Neapolitan), to thick crust and even a meat pie, which has crust on top and bottom, and meat (ham, pepperoni, sausage and a few others) plus cheese inside. My favorites, without a doubt, are the Neapolitan white pizza & their meat pie. Their white pizza is probably the best I've had personally. They are not afraid to put the garlic on there and they use an old style cheese cloth with a tip to put the ricotta on. Not to mention all their neapolitan pizza is hand tossed. The meat pie I've already described, though it also comes with a cup of sauce on the side. Prices are very reasonable, on par with most pizza shops if not perhaps even cheaper than some. They sell by the slice, whole pizzas (usually made fresh in 10-15 minutes), as well as calzones and spaghetti. Fair warning if they ask if you want garlic on the rolls, there will be plenty on there. Personally I love it, but not everyone loves garlic. I will be certain to return here as I have for years. read more

Me and my family have been going here for my entire life, I'm 21 now so that's a long time. We've had issues with them nickel and diming us for at least a few years now, mostly after they remodeled. The drinks are way overpriced for the size ($1.80 for what is a medium at most other places, AND they charge for tap water!) and they charge for even the first refill. The pizza is also like $17 for a large flat pizza. (All their food is that expensive by the way) We really enjoyed the pizza though, even though it ended up burned a few times we would still eat there over every place in the mall. This most recent time was the last straw though. The person who took our order wrote down a cheese pizza instead of a pepperoni pizza, then when I brought it back up he told me he could put pepperoni on it and put it back in the oven but I'd have to pay the difference in cost. Most places would offer to replace the pizza if they screwed up that bad, but they couldn't even give us a dollar's difference when THEY messed up? The pizza was half burnt already and dried out because they hadn't brought it to the table when they were supposed to, I didn't want it put back in any longer. Both me and my mother talked to the owner of the restaurant, I think he literally couldn't have cared less about my issues or the fact I said I might never come back because of that. (over 20 years of being a customer there!) In closing, avoid this place at all costs and don't reward this kind of terrible service with your money. read more

I would like to write a review about the food at this place but at 545p (dinner time?) it was only selling the previously made pizza. No ability to order anything else. They weren't mean about it but this is not really much of a dinner place. Looks like a Sbarro. We opted to leave and go to Garfields. Both places are in the mall. read more

I am a long time customer here. Tom, the owner, is a legit Italian pizza badass! He is from Sciliy and makes the most authentic pizza you will eat, but he does like the wrong soccer team though! My fave is the Scicilian Thin crust. I usually like toppings, but the the "thin cheese" here at Fabio's is about as perfect a slice as money can buy. Tom also has thicker, square crust pizza available as well that is equally good. Pizza is sold by the slice for quick walk ups in the mall or you can order full pizzas like any other pizza shop. There is a large variety of salads( dont miss the shop made italian dressing), pep rolls, calzones, and a daily lunch special which are faves of the local mall employees. This is a long running, family owned and operated mall based pizza shop. Fabio's is usually busy, with a friendly staff and almost always a soccer game on the big screens. Tom the owner is almost always there and he is the heart and soul of Fabios Pizza. read more

I absolutely love their pizza! Favorites are the veggie, stuffed meat and plain old slice of cheese. I'm not sure what style of pizza this is but it's very similar to a popular chain in Connecticut, where I'm from, and every time I eat here it makes me happy and somewhat nostalgic.
