I Came here on Friday Night (6/12) with my Family and let me just say I am so happy to have Pizza My Heart in Tracy #Finally. Kay was awesome! She answered all of the questions we had and gave us good recommendations for whole pizzas. We followed through with half pepperoni/the other half cheese. The pizza came out hot and fresh and tasted delicious even Tasted great with their house made pesto ranch! We ended up ordering slices to go aswell just try something different! Manresa 8/10 Big Sur 8/10 Pesto 10/10 The restaurant was clean and the employees were attentive especially for a Friday night. 10/10 I would recommend coming here. Hubby and I stopped by for dinner and ordered a simple pepperoni pizza for dine-in. The pepperoni was good but felt there could've been more of the pepperoni or maybe the pizza just felt thin. We tried their pesto ranch during their grand opening and was looking forward to it again however it wasn't out in the fridge area w/the salads like it was before. just ranch which I love. But then I heard someone ask the staff for pesto ranch and seems it is kept behind the counter, so you need to ask for it. We got a couple and it was very delicious. This place is located right at the end of the parking lot in the same plaza/strip mall that chipotle & Panera are in. Pizza My Heart is from Santa Cruz originally I believe, right on the beach at Margaritaville, or Capitola. The pizza here is thin crust so you get the full flavoring of the sauce & toppings on your pizza. The crust has a nice crispy crunch to it as well. The toppings are very good. This newer Tracy location was on point with the food quality, we waited longer than quoted time for our food, but nonetheless still a good experience. read more

I was super excited to find out that there is a Pizza My Heart in Tracy! I have only been to the Santa Cruz location so it's nice to have one closer. We went for lunch on a Saturday shortly after they opened so it wasn't crowed. It is set up much like the Santa Cruz shop-counter service and seat yourself. The shop is very clean and well kept with a good amount of seating. We each had ordered a slice and I grabbed a pre-made salad which was very fresh. I like how they have extra grab your own cups of dressings available. We also ordered the cookie which was warm, freshly baked chocolate chip and it was divine. I will definitely be returning to try one of their specialty pizzas which are not available to try by the slice. read more

I love pizza my heart in San Jose. Here it's not the same. The dressings are the same but the pizza taste a bit different. I had the pesto cheese which should be hella good but it's was plain here, bland and no flavor. Like it wasn't even salty. It's 1pm Thursday. There's a bunch of workers standing around who should be bussing tables and cleaning up the soda machine. The container had no forks and there were a handful of knives. read more

If you know me, I don't give 5 stars unless I'm like really wowed. But Pizza My Heart in tracy, amazing. I've had them in Santa Cruz, and was amazed and surprised they came to the valley. My son and I went to try it out, I had a slice of the pepperoni and he had cheese. They were super busy, but because they sell by the slice, it went by super fast. First time trying this place! I got the hook and even though its vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised with the taste! It is on the thinner side which I prefer and the crust is very chewy and crunchy as-well. A pizza my heart just in my backyard! A 30 minute drive instead of over an hour. The slice and a shirt $8 can't beat that deal. I miss the days of seasoning on the counter to enhance my pizza flavor. My cheese was good but I prefer the pepperoni. I asked for the slices to be cooked well. So there was a nice crisp to my pizza. Good under carriage on both slices and a great flavor on the pepperoni. Great sauce flavor and just right amount of cheese. My only complaint is the pepperoni is pretty greasy. Service was great. It was busy and some pizzas there was a wait for them. Will be back! This is our new favorite pizza spot! I've been to other locations and loved the pizza so I was excited when I heard they were coming to Tracy. The inside is so cute and plenty of tables to sit and eat. The vibes remind me when I'm at the beach and want a slice of pizza. I went and ordered a pie the first week they opened and I have to say it was very well organized considering the lines of people. I did have to wait 60 min but that was okay since I was able to run home and come back. When I picked up the pizza it was very hot and fresh and was perfection. Our pizza was super soggy, we could barely even pick up a slice without all the toppings sliding off. The middle was basically raw with wet toppings, uncooked pepperoni, and too much sauce with barely any cheese. We didn't even finish a slice before throwing the whole box away. Also, all 3 ranch cups we ordered that were $0.50 each weren't even filled 1/4 of the way of the sauce container. 3 of them combined didn't even fill up a whole one. Waste of money. read more

Great little stop on the way home to Modesto from picking my daughter up from San Jose Airport. $8 gets you a large slice of thin crust pizza and a classic white T-shirt. The service was excellent and they reheat your slice before bringing it to you. It is a Santa Cruz staple and the decor sets that tone. They even have an old tilt a whirl car you can sit in. Mixed experience -- one great slice, a lot of frustration. I ordered 5 slices online with a 30-minute pickup window. Instead of being ready, the timer kept pushing back minute by minute until it hit a full hour. When I called, the young lady told me those slices were in high demand and they were slammed, so the wait kept growing. Here's my issue: I ordered and paid an hour ahead. That should put me ahead of walk-ins, not behind them. If a paid online order doesn't reserve your food, what's the point of ordering early? It felt like first-come-first-serve -- except I did come first. The Big Surf was genuinely good. But the cheese slice was dry and sad -- barely any sauce, just a couple squirt lines on top of the cheese instead of sauce spread underneath across the whole slice. It tasted thrown together, which honestly tracks with how rushed everything felt. They also forgot the ranch I paid extra for. For the prices they charge per slice, I expected better. If I come back, it'll only be for the Big Surf -- and only if I'm desperate. read more

Jagger was amazing! I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time, but life got busy and I completely forgot. I recently drove by the restaurant and remembered that I owed Jagger and the entire staff a huge thank you. We visited with family and ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. Unfortunately, it didn't come out as well as we had hoped. Without hesitation, Jagger took it back and offered to make us a different pizza of our choice. To top it off, he even treated us to dessert. That level of customer service is rare these days. This was my first time here, and it will definitely be my last. When it came time to pay, I selected "no tip." The cashier deleted my entry twice and had me re-enter the tip option, which made it feel like I was being pressured to leave a tip. If I want to tip, I will do so on my own. Customers shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable or pushed into leaving a tip, especially when there is no table service involved. To make matters worse, when we finally received our pizza, it was barely warm. This place isn't cheap, so having the food come out cold is definitely not okay -- especially for the price we paid. I really do like supporting local businesses, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I am completly dossapointed with this Tracy location. My wife and I have been to Pizza of the Heart in the bay area mytiple times and love it. We were excited that they opened one closer to us so we came to try it. I ordered three slices that they had ready and they just needed to warm them up. 30 minutes later after seeing people who came after me eating already and others leaving I had to ask the manager where my order was they couldnt find it. It took them another 10 minutes to figure it out. when i finally got my 3 slices 2 of them were burnt and they were cold never warmed up. Excellent customer service! The staff is incredibly friendly, and even though they are clearly very busy, they answer the phone right away with such a welcoming and positive attitude. I ordered online and picked up my order yesterday since it was easier for me. When I arrived, they actually showed me the pizza before handing it over, which I really appreciated--it showed they take pride in what they make and care about their customers' experience. The 18" hook and cheese pizza was absolutely delicious! My family and I really enjoyed it, and we will definitely be coming back again. The only downside is that parking is very limited. I ended up parking over by the Chipotle lot and walking over. On the bright side, I guess I got my workout in for the day--haha! read more

I grew up going to the OG location in Capitola during beach trips. This pizza place means something. So I was skeptical! Came in today(5/19/26) as soon as they opened. I am very glad to say I had a great experience. The two young men who opened the restaurant this morning were friendly, and even more important, cooked some pizza worthy of my childhood memories. The service was awesome, the place was immaculately clean, the vibes were great. Best pizza I've had in years. I'm not a heavy sauce guy, so I was worried at first, but the sauce was not at all overpowering. Not too acidic, not too sweet, not too salty. Whoever opened this franchise location really did the OG justice. Tracy can never match beach vibes of the OG, but the food product was spot on read more

I was really excited to try this place. It's a very cute vibe and a fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the service was good. My issue was....the pizza. I think the pizza styles are good and flavor options are fun but the pizza itself for me was lack luster. We ordered a few slices to try at the table. Pizza is different for everyone . For me though, I love a good crust, crispy bottom and good sauce to cheese ratio. The pepperoni was so dry. Barely any sauce and cheese. The veggie one was super soggy but to be honest, all pizza slices were far from crispy. The pesto pizza seemed the best still not in love. As for Tracy, Hella Pie will still be my go to! They accommodated me 5 minutes after closing to pick up 1 large pesto and 1 mushroom pizza . Talked with, I think, the manager about expanding into the valley. Unfortunately, this message goes to Chuck, the owner. The quality is very different. Not in a good way. A 2 out of 10. And that is being generous. Sad to say, I won't be back. I lived in Santa Cruz back in the 80's when Capitol was the only location. I would get a slice daily. I have been in the Culinary field for over 40 years now, half of those years mostly around pizza, and I know what is and what isn't. So happy that Pizza My Heart has finally opened closer to where we live! We've been longtime fans so truly excited to have one close by. We stopped in for the first time today during the lunch rush, and even though it was busy, the line moved quickly and efficiently. The food was amazing... exactly the quality we've come to expect. Everything tasted fresh and consistent, just like always. We tried 3 different slices and 2 salads. Salads were fresh and crisp, and each pizza was spot on. The restaurant was very clean, and the entire team was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out was seeing the founder there in person. You could tell how invested he is, wiping down tables, keeping things spotless, and overseeing everything to make sure it runs perfectly. That level of pride and hands-on leadership says a lot.
