So sad to see the fall of Panz Pizza. My 2 teenagers and I stopped to get what was once the best pizza around only to be turned away. It seems that Panz Pizza now closes at 8pm and won't take an order at 7:20 or after. What would have been a $40-$50 order before tip was told to take our business somewhere else. The restaurant looked tired and dirty and the tile floor was cracked and broken at the entrance. I would think that they needed the business. Who ever heard of a pizza place closing at 8pm? Panz was such a disappointment. Do better! read more

I am so disappointed by this place, I was looking forward. I hate to rate this a 1 star, but telling women to use hand sanitizer because there is no soap is repulsive. I'm pretty sure that could be a health violation. We ordered our pizza which was nothing special. The sauce left something to be desired, how it was nice and crispy. All I can say is this place needs to have a health inspector come out and see what's going on. If the soap is out you need to mark it out of order and have everyone use the men's. read more

Had some take out frome here. It was ok. The pizza I ordered was supposed to have the works but what I got was a plain. It's Detroit style (similar to Sicilian). It was crispy on the bottom and a little doughy through out . I also ordered some mild wings. They were good but I was not provided with any dipping sauce. We came here for lunch twice now. Approximately a month or so apart. Today when we walked in, we had the same woman as a waitress and she actually remembered what we ordered the first time we had been there. We told her we wanted the same thing! When something is so good, why change it. I'm going out on a limb here, but I am going to say it's probably the best pizza I've had since I've moved to South Florida from NY. They call it "Detroit style". I've never had Detroit style pizza. However it's thick but it's not like a Sicilian New York style thick. This is a delicious yummy type of thick. We got the "Super supreme pizza" small both times. It has ham, pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and of course sauce, and pizza sauce. The "small" easily feeds 2, maybe 3. Thursday they have their personal pizzas which I've never tried for. Buy one get one for five dollars. Will be back there on a Thursday for sure. They do charge an extra 3.5% if you use your credit card so come with cash read more

Very poor quality pizza. It's been going down over the last year and a half. I've ordered from them for over 3 years. Used to be great! Now, not so much. I paid $35 for a pizza that's worth $9. Barbecue chicken pizza was my thing. The last few times, it was missing ingredients. This last time, and I stress, last time, was a room temperature pizza with emaciated crust, missing bacon and cilantro. I have been looking for a great Detroit style pizza and boy did this place deliver. Initially, I didn't know how large it was going to be so I ordered a small "The Works Pizza". It was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Perfectly crispy edges bottom, doughy middle with perfectly cook toppings! (6 slices) I also ordered the House Salad and it too was super fresh and came with house dressing and the Tiramisu dessert! Ended up here on a whim to try something new in a plaza that I visit often. It is tucked away in the back corner so you would easily miss it if you didn't know it was there. When we arrived, there were only a handful of customers eating and 1 woman who served as the waitress and answered the phone for to go orders. By the time we left, there were 4 tables filled and people frequently stopping to pick up their orders and she was handling it all well. I give her big props in an era where many businesses are struggling due to understaffing. We ordered a Greek salad and arugula pizza + grilled chicken. There happened to be a special going on that day that threw in complimentary fried chicken tenders if you spend $35 + so we had a bonus appetizer. The tenders were surprisingly good , fresh out of the fryer hot , and they make their blue cheese sauce in house if you request it. The pizza was heavily topped and generous with chicken and arugula, although I do wish they went lighter on the balsamic vinaigrette that was drizzled on top. It was a mess to eat but decently good pizza...I was pleasantly surprised. The Greek salad was pretty basic- just ordered it to satisfy my veggie needs. Prices are average for pizza joints but I would say definitely better quality than a Pizza Hut or dominos, but not quite the level of what an italian restaurant or a true NY pizza joint would serve. I've driven by this place before and actually decided to come here on a whim as the wait at another restaurant was too long, but so glad we did. It was later in the evening on Friday night so we were essentially the only patrons eating inside but there were plenty of take out orders. The staff was super friendly throughout the service and accommodated a special request on a pizza. We went with one of their specialty pan pizzas and a chicken tender and fries basket. When the food came out, I knew it was going to be good and I wasn't wrong. Tenders and fries were cooked and seasoned just right and the portion was generous. (Excellent honey mustard by the way). As for the pizza, it was definitely visually appealing. The pan crust is soft yet crunchy. Sauce was great and just the right amount of cheese. Nothing beats a fresh pizza right out of the oven. Only con would be price, abit expensive but quality is there, but it's also a pro because I'd eat here more than I really should. We had a surprisingly good lunch here. We'd come to the shopping center to go to the Five Below here and decided to grab something to eat first. I grew up with New Haven style thin round apizza, and it is my pizza of choice. But since their specialty here is deep dish pies, I thought we should try it. We'd had a big breakfast, so decided to share. We began with a side salad -- which had mainly iceberg lettuce mixed with a touch of romaine, black olives, shredded cheese, and tomatoes. We got the onions on the side (he likes raw onion). It came with a very good ranch dressing and was the perfect starter while waiting for our pizza to be cooked. We chose their small square deep dish margherita pizza. It was cut into six rectangles. The dough was topped with a light pizza sauce, cheeses, fresh tomatoes, and fresh strips of basil. It was nicely crispy on the edges and bottom. Although much doughier than I'm used to, it was a very tasty pizza. It's nice to know that this restaurant is here. We've got our pizzas to go the times we've been here, so I can't speak for a inside dining experience. The pizza is pretty good and there is a variety of selections to choose from. Another cool thing about it is that the pies are deep dish. The BBQ chicken and America's favorite are the ones we had and we would get them again. We, (my wife), found a new neighborhood Pizza place to try. A big Welcome and offer to explain their menu, since this was our first visit. Our server brought us two large glasses filled with ice for our bottled soft drink. We both enjoy Root Beer, which we discovered pairs well with pizza. We decided to share a House Salad, ( Sliced black olives, shredded carrots, cherry tomato, romaine and Iceberg lettuce with Ranch Dressing - Sliced red onion on the side). We also chose a small Margherita Deep Dish Pizza. As we were finishing our salad, our deep dish Pizza was ready and served to our table straight out of the pizza oven, (six square slices). It was so hot with bubbly browned cheeses, knife and fork were required to eat our slices. We wound up taking two of the slices home. They bring the food to the counter, look at me and say it's ready, I walk over to grab the food when a roach walks across the counter. Was in the mood for a good deep dish pizza We found this place on Yelp and after reading good reviews decided to take the 25 min ride to get here. The place is new fresh and bright and we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Hawaiian Deep Dish Pizza and watched as good looking pizza after good looking pizza was brought out to the other guests. In what felt like only 5 mins our pizza with that golden almost burnt crust yummy crust was at our table. I love pizza and can tell you the pizza looked awesome but tasted even better. The dough was delicious the sauce just right and the toppings were sufficient! We ate 7 of our 10 slices and can't wait for lunch tomorrow to eat the other three. Because we enjoyed the thin crust pizza and triple cheese bread sticks last time we ordered (even though they charged us 3.75 for extra butter garlic for approx 3oz we thought was a bit hefty) both again. We paid extra for caramelized onions on the pizza and paid the 3.75 for the garlic butter. My biggest beef with pizza panz is the lack of toppings you receive compared to what you pay. I know prices have skyrocketed on food which is tough on restaurants but if I am paying $2.00 for onions I expect more than a teaspoon. I wish I could say that a teaspoon is an exaggeration but it is not. As I said I paid extra for a small extra cup of garlic butter. Not only did I not get the extra but was given the wrong sauce all together. My family owned stores growing up and the one thing my father taught me is if a customer is asking for something that is reasonable even though it may slightly cut into our bottom line, you do it because if they don't come back then you now lost all the money vs a small portion of it and people talk. read more
