We had so much fun at Oceano! On their website, they said they have walk in times available, but we had to make a reservation for it because it's so popular! The earliest time we could get was 8:45 pm. They change the menu weekly. We tried the Rigatoni, pizza, and brussel sprouts. We loved everything we tried and ate every bite! The portions are a good size for the cost and everything was really well seasoned. Our waiter's name was Jason! Very kind, attentive to our table, and knowledgeable about the menu. The restrooms were nice as well. If looking for a fun restaurant to try out would recommend! I truly believe anything on the menu would be worth trying! If I lived locally would definitely come back!

Was really looking forward to going here based on social media and past reviews, but what a letdown. The decor in the restaurant is cozy, but the ambiance is VERY stuffy. From the minute we walked in, you felt unwelcome. I waited in line to check-in, while my partner tried to snag 2 seats at the bar. He asked if it was "first-come, first-serve" at the bar, and was told yes. Yet, waitstaff AND other customers approached him to tell him he needed to wait in line and check-in first. (NOT the definition of first-come, first-serve). It was made into this big to-do, even though it was not something that needed to be turned into a scene. Small cocktail section on the menu, was happy to find out we could atleast add alcohol to the mocktails. For dinner we tried the Italian sausage and broccoli rabe pizza, and the rigatoni pomodoro. Pizza was tasty, crust had a nice crunch to it, and there was a fair amount of sausage on it. The rigatoni was not anything special, tasted like pasta out of the box. The restaurant is EXTREMELY overpriced for what it is. $27 for a brussel sprout salad? $28 for a meatball appetizer? Just no. Underwhelming taste, overpriced menu, rude staff and customers= would not return.

I'm updating my review of Oceano, mostly to add pictures of our latest meal and to say once again that it was excellent; it is one of our favorite restaurants in south Florida. This time we went to the Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival which was so much fun and interesting. Afterwards, we arrived early at Oceano Kitchen for our 730 resy. We started at the bar to await our seats. The honey colored bar counter, which I think the bar tender said was quartz, is so striking. My girlfriend loved the Meyer lemon sour with merengue - so much that she ordered a second. I had two good glasses of wine (and the bar tender let me sample a few, which I always appreciate). For dinner, we tried the local fish ceviche for which I ordered bread to soak up the juice. The blue crab toast was excellent as was the baby beet and strawberry salad. For mains, we enjoyed the rigatoni pomodoro which had a red sauce and with delicious melty parm. I loved the tandoori style lamb chops - they were SO good! For dessert, you have to try the freshly baked salted caramel chocolate chip cookie. We also enjoyed the lemon blueberry tart.

Oceano Kitchen is just so great. I guess you can't stop progress, but I miss the laid back nature of the old place... now so busy. Of course, that wasn't sustainable, but it was nice to have experienced those days... to know what's behind his cooking... and you can still see those days in Jeremy's dishes. Still the same great chef. A last minute trip here on this sold-out Saturday, so sat at the bar... actually, I like sitting there. I needed to try their new GREEN APPLE MARGARITA: w/apple infused tequila, spiced pear, cider caramel, lime. Never had anything like this... really great! For food, started with CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS w/spicy tumeric sauce, ginger, kafir lime, peanut, basil, mint. Was good, but too much sauce overpowered what it could have been. The WOOD FIRED MUSHROOM PIZZA w sottocenere al tartufo, mozz, parm, lemon... perfectly cooked. Very good. Remember, one should NEVER miss dessert here. Jeremy's better half, Cindy, is a culinary star in her own right. Tonight, the COCONUT CREAM PIE w/graham cracker crumb, and Pandan Ice Cream was as suspected, FANTASTIC! But when I saw the COOKIES & CONFECTIONS PLATE on the menu... an opportunity to try so many different treats, and knowing that Cindy makes the best cookies on the planet, I had to have an order packed up to take with me... OMG! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Nick was a lovely server. Food was delicious. Cocktails yummy. Favorite dish was the fried rice- I know that sounds basic but it really was an elevated yummy version. 6 plates were too much for 4 of us. Looking forward to the leftovers tho'!

Shaved halva on top of the sesame crisp and homemade frozen yogurt

Ray provided excellent, above-board service for an above-board meal. We sat in the backyard, which on a hot summer night was a little challenging for us, but we muddled through because each and every bite of food made us forget just how hot we were. Two pizza's with perfectly crisp crusts that were tender but not puffy held up tip to tail for both their "regular" pie and their unbelievable, oh my God French Onion style variety. In the past, I've eaten French Onion soup, French Onion chicken, French Onion stuffed dumplings but never pizza. It's a no-brainer thumbs up. We then shared a grilled shrimp dish with corn and arborio (?) rice with a hint of spicy oil. Sensational. The shrimp popped while the rice and corn melted in your mouth. Rigatoni with a tomato and melted cheese preparation was basic but elegant and elevated in its simplicity. Their homemade pasta was al dente just the way I like it. Our starter was the star of the show for me. A charred wedge of cabbage rendered buttery and sweet. It sat atop a puddle of whipped feta and citrus that did not over power the star of the show; deftly sprinkled with middle eastern/Indian spices. It was a symphony. Desserts did not disappoint. A warm chocolate chip cookie that was crisp and soft all in one bite, a coffee ice cream that was as smooth as can be. Our other guests were all in on "The Frozen" which was a homemade frozen yogurt similar to Pinkberry (slightly sour in a good way) sitting on top of bits of orange (not really necessary) with a killer sesame wafer and shaved halva. I loved how the "shaved" felt when I ate it. Clever touch. Walking through the restaurant after our meal, we were blasted with the cool air we longed for. The inside room has a large, lively bar and is quite loud. So what? Everyone here is happy. We had 2 glasses of wine and 2 mocktails. There is free valet. Full price $276 included tip and tax.

We haven't been back since their first Location on Lantana. We were pleasantly surprised to see this new restaurant location - The inside is stunning. (We sat at the kitchen counter) The food was seriously the best food we've ever had, the flavors were unbelievable. Highly recommend for date night or special occasion or if you just want really good food!

Strawberry rubarb waloo crudo

Sizeable upscale spot in Lake worth putting out exceptional food and a good pace. While they say the items are good for a family style sharing, id say 2 people could more easily split 2 smaller plates and some of the mains. The chicken and swordfish would be better suited for 1 person, while the pasta and pizza are sizeable portions for 2x people. Fresh and in season items are always a go-to, and the peach tomato feta salad was perfect. Strawberry rhubarb waloo crudo was a winner as well. I've had pizza almost any place offered, of every style, and these guys are churning out quality pies. If you have a good size group, say 6x people, definitely grab a pizza for the table with some other items.

What an upbeat vibe.

If you are looking for a true foodie experience, Oceano is the place. To include their popular pizzas (next visit). Warmly welcomed and promptly seated, the service was spot on, almost ninja like. Though you will get an idea of the selections, the menu changes weekly and will satisfy you with the choices. The presentations are a work of art. Good food with careful craftsmanship. Please save room for the unique desserts and pressed coffee.

Amazing dinner on a Saturday night. Our server Raymond was great. The ceviche was absolutely fabulous and full of flavor. The sausage and broccoli rabe pizza was delicious! Nice thin crust with ricotta and mozzarella to round it out. Rigatoni pomodoro was just so so. Not enough flavor for our party. Fiancé loved the gnocci sardi although it seemed like it wasn't a traditional "gnocci" which he appreciated even more. The only downside was the lack of organization. This was the second time they "lost" our reservation. It turned out to our advantage as we were seated at a lovely table on the front patio. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend.

OCEANO 3.0 is a huge success! 1.0 was too small, 2.0 was ok and now ...WOW Had dinner here last week and we all had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful with several seating areas so even though its a big place, it still feels pretty intimate. The service was great, with prompt attentive wait staff. The menu had many choices all of which were very inventive and fun. I had the Orecchiette. The pasta was perfect and the dish was filled with lobster in a sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The duck was perfect! Crispy skin and moist perfectly cooked meat. A couple of folks had pizzas. The crust was crispy and held its shape and was great. No question, we will be back. Many more dishes to check out. PLsu we were all too stuffed to try any of the desserts.

It's not often I give 5 stars. This restaurant delivered! From the friendly, knowledgeable waiter to the innovative dishes, to the ambience were all outstanding. For appetizers, we had the muscles (tapas style) and octopus. My husband ordered the zucchini pizza to try something different & it was just OK. However. My halibut & pea risotto with bits of bacon was delicious. The decor is a mid century modern, clean lines and inviting. Beautiful greenery, with additional outdoor seating in the back. I always check out the restrooms. I was pleasantly surprised this restaurant had 4 separate unisex bathrooms. No long lines for the ladies thank goodness. Clean and well maintained. We will be back with friends in a few weeks. Highly recommend.

New location and newly renovated

At Oceano, every dish is special, every dish feels like their one signature dish with rich and unique flavors and presentation. The dishes are meant to be shared, which is a good thing because you want to try so many different options. You'll even want to throw pizza into the mix - we had the zucchini pizza and loved the touch of lemon. Indoors can be quite loud, so I'd recommend outdoor seating, specifically the patio behind the restaurant, which is peaceful and quiet. And--they now take credit cards!

The front of the restaurant!

Do they do take out orders?

Thank you so much for asking. Unfortunately, we do not offer take out.

Yes. They have an ATM

Are there any vegan options available? My family is really excited to go and as the lone vegan, I am curious because everything looks so scrumptious.

They have a new menu every night. It’s important to check it as sometimes they do.

Will they be willing to tell me what is gluten free? Or am I better off somewhere else?

In fact, home doesn't really feel like home unless you got one. And now I got one. When we're at our Winter getaway in Palm Beach, some nights just call for pizza (okay, I have to call for the pizza). About a year ago, the wife and I did a mini tasting tour, grabbing a slice at three of the higher Yelp-rated pizza spots in the area (Lake Worth and Lantana, which are just across the bridge). East Side won hands down. The place is nothing to look at. It's a small joint in a strip mall that has seen better days. But that's where hidden gems like this lurk. And when it comes to the core mission, East Side gets it done. The pizza is your classic neighborhood recipe: thin but chewy crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, classic mozzarella (and plenty of it!), plus a decent coverage of toppings. We've tried a few combinations and liked them all. My order is always ready at the pickup time, and we've never had a pizza that was overcooked. One caveat: I tried an Italian Combo sub once, thinking they'd execute that well. They didn't. The bread was hard, and the meats too thick. Basically inedible. My wife's Eggplant Parm sub also fell short. I'm gun shy about trying another sub. But when it comes to pizza, this is our place.

I've seen videos of people eating pizza in Italy and it looks very similar to the picture on the front of the flier. (Smaller pie, half burnt however very fluffy crust, no cuts in the pie etc) and the picture features a "Margarita style" pizza. I wanted to order EXACTLY what I saw being advertised. I check the menu and it says "Pizza Medium 14 inch $16.99" which is what I was expecting. I order takeout, because I live not even 5 minutes away from the place. When I go to pickup the pizza, they tell me it's gonna be $28 (which is almost a 100% price increase from what I read on their menu). However, I think to myself "As long as I'm gonna get an authentic looking Italian-style Margarita pizza (like their menu shows) I'm fine with paying $28" So I pay the $28. I walk out of the store and to my car. I open the box. This pizza looked NOTHING like the menu. I'm talking night and day. It had a bunch of tomato slices on it, which if I had known it had all this tomato on it, I wouldn't have ordered it! To be quite honest, the only reason I was able to eat it was because I was on a 24 hour fast. Otherwise, I don't think I would've ever eaten this pizza. Completely felt betrayed and lied to based on their advertising. The menu picture needs to be more realistic because whatever I ate from there was NOT Italian-style. I wish I had something positive to say about the experience, but I genuinely don't. If anybody knows a genuine Italian-style pizza place around Lake Worth FL lemme know
