Went this past week for my birthday as I heard this place had a James Beard nod and that it was written about as one of the best new restaurants in 2026 by USA Today. It was definitely a love at first site thing, and wow was it packed! Everyone was dressed well, having a great time. Honestly, I hear many places struggling in summer in Palm Beach county, but not this place! The mushroom pizza we ordered was fantastic, easily 10/10. The mushrooms were excellent, there was a nice char on the crust, the cheese was deliciously melty, yum. We also had a bottle of Chablis that was delightful. For dinner, we ordered a pasta dish that was also great. For dessert, we went with a shortbread cheesecake dessert which was very gastronomic. I loved everything. The only reason I am not giving them 5/5 was because my husband called ahead of time to request a desert with a candle in it AND he asked the front desk multiple times to make sure they had a dessert setup for my birthday and they did not, so he was really upset about that (I didn't mind). Our server was really sweet and knowledgeable. I guess she wasn't related the information, not her fault. I didn't realize how packed it would be here in July! We will definitely be back. It was very California like inside with the wooden panels and the bottles of wine on full display, along with beachy pics, and lots of natural light along with a cute back patio area.

We made reservations weeks in advance for my father in laws birthday dinner. When we arrived we were seated in the perfect table for us, Drew was our waiter and made many great suggestions and knew his menu inside and out. we went with the Tomato-watermelon panzenella and the Crispy Duck salad, followed by the straight shooter pizza and for our main course we ordered the gnocchi sardi and the tagliatella. For dessert we went with the mini caramel sundae. Each of the items were so delicious that if I mentioned each item this would be a 4 page review.. I would say the my favorite items, was the pizza, and both Pasta dishes. Although everything was delicious. OMG It was so delicious we all shared and there was plenty to eat! Inside the decore was really interesting with a fun ambiance, bar area and outside seating. We finished with their home made desserts, we tried the Peanut butter ice cream sandwich the carmel ice cream with peanut brittle and fudge.

We've been here before and had the pleasure of being served by Megan and Anne, so we specifically came back hoping to see them again, and they did not disappoint! They made our night absolutely incredible with their friendly personalities, outstanding service, and attention to every detail. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect, recommended the best food on the menu, and every suggestion was amazing. They also told us about the 20% off $100 gift card promotion, which was such a great deal that we couldn't pass it up. Megan and Anne are a huge reason we keep coming back. Highly recommend asking for them if you want the best experience!

The dining room is bright with high ceilings, and very noisy. We had a great server. We shared the Korean style pancake with crab. It was thicker than i expected and we all liked it. For entrees we had the swordfish and tagliatelle. I especially liked sauce and the crunchy, possibly fried, greens under the fish. Overall, we felt the food was okay, but it was pricey. Plus, they have bread plates on the table, but no bread. They probably offer the best food and atmosphere in the downtown Lake Worth arts district.

My husband and I rave about this spot. Probably the top place in palm beach county! Definitely in the top three. Service is always on par and food is Devine! Menu constantly changes. Our server Drew this past weekend was an absolute Gem.

As a birthday gift, my wife made reservations at Oceano. Little did I know that we would not just share a meal but an experience we will cherish. After a snafu with our reservation, we were able to snag the last two seats at the bar. We'll call this the "best mistake ever." The bartender was amazing, personable, and made us and the other 12 or so patrons feel right at home. We started with the scallop crudo. If you must get one thing on the menu, THIS is it. Buttery Nantucket scallop tossed in brown butter, lime, and caviar. Our tastebuds will never be the same. We began with the grilled pickle salad atop labneh. This dish was a feast for the eyes and the mouth, catching the jealous gaze of our neighbors at the bar. We continued with the duck confit gnocchi. It was as delicious as you could imagine. We couldn't resist trying the local triple tail, which was lightly battered with a green tomatillo sauce. Dinner concluded with the chocolate peanut butter ice cream cake with popcorn brittle. An awesome way to end the night. We left feeling satiated and treated like royalty. An dreamy, upscale evening among the Palm Beach elite, even if just for a few hours.

We had so much fun at Oceano! On their website, they said they have walk in times available, but we had to make a reservation for it because it's so popular! The earliest time we could get was 8:45 pm. They change the menu weekly. We tried the Rigatoni, pizza, and brussel sprouts. We loved everything we tried and ate every bite! The portions are a good size for the cost and everything was really well seasoned. Our waiter's name was Jason! Very kind, attentive to our table, and knowledgeable about the menu. The restrooms were nice as well. If looking for a fun restaurant to try out would recommend! I truly believe anything on the menu would be worth trying! If I lived locally would definitely come back!

Was really looking forward to going here based on social media and past reviews, but what a letdown. The decor in the restaurant is cozy, but the ambiance is VERY stuffy. From the minute we walked in, you felt unwelcome. I waited in line to check-in, while my partner tried to snag 2 seats at the bar. He asked if it was "first-come, first-serve" at the bar, and was told yes. Yet, waitstaff AND other customers approached him to tell him he needed to wait in line and check-in first. (NOT the definition of first-come, first-serve). It was made into this big to-do, even though it was not something that needed to be turned into a scene. Small cocktail section on the menu, was happy to find out we could atleast add alcohol to the mocktails. For dinner we tried the Italian sausage and broccoli rabe pizza, and the rigatoni pomodoro. Pizza was tasty, crust had a nice crunch to it, and there was a fair amount of sausage on it. The rigatoni was not anything special, tasted like pasta out of the box. The restaurant is EXTREMELY overpriced for what it is. $27 for a brussel sprout salad? $28 for a meatball appetizer? Just no. Underwhelming taste, overpriced menu, rude staff and customers= would not return.

I'm updating my review of Oceano, mostly to add pictures of our latest meal and to say once again that it was excellent; it is one of our favorite restaurants in south Florida. This time we went to the Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival which was so much fun and interesting. Afterwards, we arrived early at Oceano Kitchen for our 730 resy. We started at the bar to await our seats. The honey colored bar counter, which I think the bar tender said was quartz, is so striking. My girlfriend loved the Meyer lemon sour with merengue - so much that she ordered a second. I had two good glasses of wine (and the bar tender let me sample a few, which I always appreciate). For dinner, we tried the local fish ceviche for which I ordered bread to soak up the juice. The blue crab toast was excellent as was the baby beet and strawberry salad. For mains, we enjoyed the rigatoni pomodoro which had a red sauce and with delicious melty parm. I loved the tandoori style lamb chops - they were SO good! For dessert, you have to try the freshly baked salted caramel chocolate chip cookie. We also enjoyed the lemon blueberry tart.

Oceano, why oh why did I wait so long!? I have been wanting to try Oceano since it was located in its former Lantana location. So when friends asked if I were interested in joining them for an art exhibit, followed by dinner at Oceano, I could not say YES fast enough. I am thrilled to say the wait was worth it. All the chips fell into place when after a small wait we were seated outside (what luck), found our waiter was from Croton-on-the-Hudson (had to wait a year before he was able to land a job at Oceano), and our food was paced perfectly. Started with the Grilled Cucumber Salad that included sumac-labneh, medjool date, berbere spice pickle, pistachio, and the Sugar snap Pea Salad of rhubarb, pecorino, stracciatella, mint, lemon, marcona almond. Next up, Pizza! Had to of course start with the Straight Shooter Pizza which was a simple pie of tomato, mozz, basil, pecorino, good olive oil. Pizza #2 was the Zuchinni Pizza, a white pie of hazelnut, lemon, asiago, mozz, parm, stacciatella. To round out the meal we had the Gnocci Sardi. This was an utterly delicious bowl of pasta that included duck confit, morels, peas, parm, creme fraiche, fines herbs, wild ramps. Super meal with smiles all around. There are two restaurants I feel are super deserving of a Michelin Star in my area, and Oceano is definitely one of them! Not super close to me, but I see a few summer nights at the bar with a salad, pizza, and glass of wine in my future.

Shaved halva on top of the sesame crisp and homemade frozen yogurt
    Steph S.

Ray provided excellent, above-board service for an above-board meal. We sat in the backyard, which on a hot summer night was a little challenging for us, but we muddled through because each and every bite of food made us forget just how hot we were. Two pizza's with perfectly crisp crusts that were tender but not puffy held up tip to tail for both their "regular" pie and their unbelievable, oh my God French Onion style variety. In the past, I've eaten French Onion soup, French Onion chicken, French Onion stuffed dumplings but never pizza. It's a no-brainer thumbs up. We then shared a grilled shrimp dish with corn and arborio (?) rice with a hint of spicy oil. Sensational. The shrimp popped while the rice and corn melted in your mouth. Rigatoni with a tomato and melted cheese preparation was basic but elegant and elevated in its simplicity. Their homemade pasta was al dente just the way I like it. Our starter was the star of the show for me. A charred wedge of cabbage rendered buttery and sweet. It sat atop a puddle of whipped feta and citrus that did not over power the star of the show; deftly sprinkled with middle eastern/Indian spices. It was a symphony. Desserts did not disappoint. A warm chocolate chip cookie that was crisp and soft all in one bite, a coffee ice cream that was as smooth as can be. Our other guests were all in on "The Frozen" which was a homemade frozen yogurt similar to Pinkberry (slightly sour in a good way) sitting on top of bits of orange (not really necessary) with a killer sesame wafer and shaved halva. I loved how the "shaved" felt when I ate it. Clever touch. Walking through the restaurant after our meal, we were blasted with the cool air we longed for. The inside room has a large, lively bar and is quite loud. So what? Everyone here is happy. We had 2 glasses of wine and 2 mocktails. There is free valet. Full price $276 included tip and tax.

    Strawberry rubarb waloo crudo
    Matt R.

Sizeable upscale spot in Lake worth putting out exceptional food and a good pace. While they say the items are good for a family style sharing, id say 2 people could more easily split 2 smaller plates and some of the mains. The chicken and swordfish would be better suited for 1 person, while the pasta and pizza are sizeable portions for 2x people. Fresh and in season items are always a go-to, and the peach tomato feta salad was perfect. Strawberry rhubarb waloo crudo was a winner as well. I've had pizza almost any place offered, of every style, and these guys are churning out quality pies. If you have a good size group, say 6x people, definitely grab a pizza for the table with some other items.

    What an upbeat vibe.

She even caught an error with my order before I did! They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. They had a lot of specials on the board too. I decided to try the shrimp club special. It had whole grilled shrimp on sun-dried tomato ciabatta with mixed greens, tomato and bacon. The chipotle aioli was too spicy for me. It was delicious but took away from the sandwich. Obviously it's a personal preference so if you can't handle spice, ask for something else or at least get it on the side. They put a lot on. It made the bread slightly soggy by the end. The tomato was fresh. The greens were wilted from the dressing. The grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly. It was a little different to eat with them being whole but it worked. The ciabatta was very flavorful. I'm not usually a fan but it was soft and really held up to all of the sandwich fillings. The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside. They gave me regular fries instead of sweet potato fries but the server brought out a small plate of sweets for me. If you like sweet potato fries then order these! They were much better than the regular ones. I enjoyed the coleslaw. Perfect portion size and balanced flavors. I tried the key lime pie martini. Definitely not worth it for the price. I didn't get much alcohol out of it. Great presentation though! Oh and I ordered the conch fritters appetizer to go. I wanted to try them but knew I couldn't eat them and my sandwich. You get 6 big fritters. I can see these being super filling before an entree. The conch was tender but they were doughy - a typical fritter. I wish they had cracked conch.....
