Here's why: My non-confrontational mother arrived to pick up her pre-ordered pizza tonight, and was met with vulgar, foul language and was verbally abused by the owner. When my mother came to pick up her order, the owner indicated it had already been picked up by "her husband". My mom shared that was not possible as it simply did not happen. The owner yelled at her saying, "ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR?!?!". This is when two other women, not known to us, inside the restaurant, came to my mother's defence. They jumped in, citing that that was no way to speak to a human, let alone a customer of her business. The owner shot back by yelling, "fuck you, get out of my store." ... Pizza Nova Corp called us shortly after apologizing for the mix up and confirmed our pizza had indeed, gone home with the wrong party. Pizza Nova Corp gave us future credit and made things right. Thanks to Corp -- however; after being customers at this particular location for over 20 years, we will NEVER be supporting this location again. This owner is trashy, disrespectful and rude. Nobody deserves to walk into verbal abuse by a business they are a patron of. To the owner of this location. How dare you. You are an utter embarrassment to our beautiful community of Thornhill. When you get there, you will see a screen letting you know if your pizza is ready, which i found very helpful. The pizza had lots of cheese, as well as, all the other toppings. When I got the pizza it was piping hot, as it was just finished baking. The dough was crispy and at the same time very soft and chewy. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the service was outstanding. He was serving completely on his own and handled the mini rush with ease, He stayed efficient, organized, and calm while making sure everyone felt welcomed and well taken care of. Even while managing the entire counter by himself, he took the time to be personable and provide excellent service. His effort and professionalism truly stood out!
