The fun zone was fun enough (won a jackpot) but the food was miserable. I don't expect pizza ranch to be amazing food (as it is a buffet) but the pizza selection was poor. I could only see cheese pizza and what I can only describe as "onion pizza" featuring sweet and sour source. The "expanded fun zone" smelled like feet... I will not return to this location unfortunately. I hope that the people of Muscatine can be blessed with higher quality pizza ranch items in the future. read more

Absolutely awful place. Old pizza on the buffet and nothing new brought out the entire time we were there. The chicken was over cooked (or BURNT). They did bring out a few pieces of chicken of which I ate 4 or 5 pieces of as there was no pizza fit to eat. The staff was just standing around being useless, except for the one young man working the tables. This is the second time I've ever been to any Pizza Ranch (both times at this location) and it was just as bad the first time. So bad in fact that I am confident I will never go to another Pizza Ranch any place. They should be ashamed of themselves for the lousy job they do, but it is Iowa so they are likely very clueless and more importantly do not care in the least. Not only will I not ever recommend this place, I fully intend to tell others of the horrible experience. I want to save others from wasting their money and this place is an enormous waste of money and time. read more

I went to pizza ranch today with my mister. I did get 1 person name Ashley. Her the lady she worked with, and the cook have great customer service. we got there 2 minutes before the buffet closed, they still sold it to us, the cook even made some fresh chicken for us and never rushed us to finish so they could clean up . Went there with my family and the kiddos.This Pizza Ranch has an arcade for the children inside rooms for any plan birthday parties. They do have quite a variety of games and some cool prizes! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant and restrooms were clean.The food was hot, delicious and kept coming. They had a wide variety of pizza which was very nice. I've been to others words just cheese and pepperoni. This place is much classier than Chuck-E-Cheese and just as fun. There's alot of parking too. read more

Howdy Pardner! I don't know about you cowboys and lil ladies but when I think of western ranch I think of...um pizza. Because they love serving that at rodeos and hoedowns. Silly theme aside its a local chain I do see doed to for an informal large group outing. Everyone found the pizza buffet rite satifactory which had a variety of pies and went to town. Many fancied the "cactus bread" which is a dessert pizza ala a huge flat frosted toaster strudel, yee haw! I ate the salad from the salad section which was mundane, dag nabbit, and the self serve soft fro yo. Shucks it was acceptable but the flavor of vanilla and chocolate could have been stronger. They deliver to your homestead. Shewt! They serve fried chicken which I heard is shtty. It's basically a "skip it." Rides off into the sunset. read more

Great buffet in Muscatine. While traveling to Muscatine for work, we found this buffet to be one of the best lunch options around. They have all the pizza you could want, a salad bar, dessert bar, and great homestyle options like fried chicken or mashed potatoes as well. The manager that is there almost always really makes sure you well taken care of. Every time I have been there he goes out of his way to welcome us, ask if there is any special pizza he can put in the oven, and just generally is a great asset to the store. Even during the great Muscatine Blizzard of 2011, this was the first place open for business, and the staff managed to make up pies as quick as you could ask for. Overall, if I'm traveling to Muscatine again i am looking forward to this as a lunch option. read more

I have been in a number of Pizza Ranches. This one is great. The personnel is great. Very friendly, attentive, helpful. The chicken is great and the pizza is what you expect at a Pizza Buffet, but being able to order a specific pizza for your self is awesome. Muscatine has other buffets in town but this one is the best. read more

Pizza Ranch is a fun place to take the kids on Tuesday night as that is when kids are free and the clown made my daughter a dog balloon. The iced tea tasted funky, if they clean this out, I would give them a 5. Overall, the fried chicken was awesome and pizza was very tasty. They even had a taco pizza and Canadian bacon pizza. These were some fun options. The place could be a little cleaner, so they get an overall 4 rating. read more

I will give props to Pizza Ranch as it is really the only family-style buffet here in town, Muscatine lacks an option of a good buffet. I do find it strange that it is named Pizza Ranch and their pizza is hardly the best thing there. However, their Cactus-bread is awesome!
