I love stopping by Pizza Ranch whenever we're in town. They have lots of options to choose from - pizza, chicken, salad, mac and cheese, soup, mashed potatoes, soft serve, dessert pizzas, soda, and more! One of my favorite items to get is the taco pizza, though they don't have it out in the buffet as often as some of the other types of pizza. A couple of the foods here can be a hit or a miss, but I do feel like the buffet is definitely worth it for the price. The restaurant itself is spacious and fairly clean, and the staff come around every so often to take any plates you're done with. Wish we had a location on the west coast! read more

We are handicapped and cannot travel so online ordering is the only we for us to enjoy restruants we like. Well for some reason Pizza Ranch is no longer letting us log in to order. We checked and confirmed we have the right name and password. still. saying invalid info. Now get this we reset the name and password and can get into our account info, which you CANNOT navigate to the ordering screen. Once we go to the main it is still says invalid info with the username and new password. we cleared cookies, we tried different browsers we even tried different computers. We even created a whole new account and sill says invalid when we try to log in.. Also this is the 10th time this has happend in a few years and its always on a Sunday. This is the only sites we have issues logging into in all of the 50 places in the sioux falls area. Lost a long time customer today. read more

This was a great budget buffet. Good value for the money. Better than Cicis on the east coast. Salad, soup, chicken, corn, mac and cheese, pizza, soft serve ice cream, brownie... and kids eat free night. There was something for everyone. I enjoyed the salad, chicken noodle soup, chicken, and corn. Then soft serve ice cream!! Loved it! The fam enjoyed salad, pizza, Mac and cheese then an awesome crispy brownie. Manager with the barb wire tattoos started kicking everyone out an hour and a half early, then proceeded to get in public disputes with his employees from across the lobby, then started walking around yelling to everyone about how he can't wait to ride his jet skis tomorrow? Absolutely obnoxious behavior, if he wouldn't have been so caught up in his own world he may have noticed all the pizza on the buffet had gone cold. 1/10 read more

First off this is the second buffet I reviewed and I don't understand why it has poor reviews when it was the first time I went with my parents that are visiting from California, and we went 30 minutes after opening, and the place was almost filled during lunchtime. That people had a hard time finding a place to sit down bc no one wanted to sit next to each other. There were A LOT of seniors there, or as I like to call them geris. There was a group that was having a meeting or a gathering in one of their big meeting rooms. And honestly if you're a senior citizen and you're single should hit up this place lol. They have a large hallway where on your left and right there are a bunch of private rooms with TVs where you could just eat by yourself and all the way in the back is an arcade area like a mini Dave & Buster's. I tried posting a video, but for some reason it won't upload. They have a self-service fountain, drink area and coffee area which was nice. They had a soup area with three options and also a pasta area. It was OK but you get what you pay for. I don't think it was horrible but I don't think it was like the best pasta I've had like .i was in north end in Boston. It reminded me of sizzlers because of all the older people and the food offered. The pizza is OK but what do you expect? I had a few but it's like the frozen pizza you buy at Walmart. But a little bit better because the cooked in a commercial grade oven rather than a toaster oven at your house. And trust me I am a pizza snob now because my husband's Italian, and from New Jersey and we just moved here From living on the east coast for five years-so we take our pizza seriously. Even though the restaurants called pizza ranch I notice a lot of people focused on the homeless amount of chicken you could have and their chicken was really good. It wasn't dry but it was moist and flavorful. The only issue is that people just dig for their favorite part of the chicken so a lot of the skin gets pulled off of the fried chicken. I really enjoyed the pizza dessert because you don't get that often anywhere and they need it fresh so I had 4-5 pieces more than I should have. But overall it's a nice environment and family friendly and I also think it's allergy friendly because I was looking at all the food because my two year old is allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts and he would still be able to eat here if I brought him. read more

The food was great especially the asian bbq fried chicken (a very rich sauce which was less salty than the plain fried chicken) and good variety. Didn't see a brownie dessert (heard it's great) but that's probably the only thing we missed and the other desserts were great too. Finished with leftover root beer float to go. The plate cleanup service was frequent and the staff were polite. We beat the crowds by going at 5:00 for Friday dinner. There are private tv small rooms for more privacy and a very large tv room also in addition to the open area seating. read more

When I reviewed on Google, the owner didn't even apologize for our bad experience! We had loud employees circling the buffet. Also, the food on buffet was barely warm, and they apparently allow a man to sit and eat in dining area with his flip flops off, and that's unhealthy for all around and disgusting! Disappointed. They were so concerned with keeping the buffet full that the pizza sat out a lot longer than it probably should have. Same for the other food. There was enough out to handle a busy rush, but there were only a handful of tables there. I'd much rather have less options and fresh, than lots of options that sit out under a heat lamp. When we went in to eat There were maybe 6 clean tables. All of the fountain drinks were watery. The buffet was almost empty. That was barely any pizza and it was sogg and chewy. when a worker would come around and grab plates she would just stack them up on another table and leave them. Very very poor. Had delivery while staying in town one night. I'm familiar with Pizza Ranch, so my expectations were not that high. However, Pizza Ranch has outdone themselves in mediocrity. We ordered a create your own pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. We also ordered a garden salad. For delivery. To a hotel room. The pizza arrived within the window of time they promised, which was good. However, when we tried to pick up a slice it broke in half. Also, they gave us fat-free Ranch dressing instead of straight-up Ranch. As everyone knows, fat-free Ranch is vastly inferior. Also, there were green peppers on our pizza. I honestly can't say enough about how great this place is! They offered a wide verity of pizza items as well as fried chicken , mashed potatoes and all the fixins. The salad bar was very fresh and the buffet had plenty to choose from. They also offered a fantastic desert pizza! The staff not only kept the buffet full they were constantly cleaning up and were super friendly. Wyatt was so nice to us , made us feel very welcome and made it a really enjoyable experience after we had been on the road for 15 hours. I have found pizza is never really good or bad it just depends on what you like & I think alot of people judge pizza by how much hype there is about it. I personaly love the pizza at Pizza Ranch & love any resturant that offers a buffet! The kids clearing tables do a great job & they dont ask for a tip. I'm a huge fan of pizza ranch, but I was very disappointed by my visit to this location. My boyfriend had never been to one before, so as we were driving from north of Aberdeen to Chicago, we stopped here. It happened to be less than an hour before closing, but we had almost forty minutes so we were seated in the blacksmith room. We were told they were about to close the buffet as soon as the other two groups left, which was not a big deal, we just ordered off the menu. We got the general sense that they didn't want us there, but decided to enjoy ourselves anyway. When we asked for ranch dipping sauce, the staff we spoke to was very reluctant stating that they had already covered the sauce, but he would talk to his manager. Again, not a big deal. As we were getting closer to the end of our meal they moved chairs in front of the doors to the room we were sitting in to clean. Then, I noticed who I assumed to be the manager, tapping his watch while talking to the staff and seeming very aggravated that we were there five minutes past ten o'clock. I understand wanting to close up, but I was honestly disappointed with the service and so was my boyfriend. And we probably could've gotten out of their hair quicker if they'd just let us eat at the buffet. read more

Their delivery service, at least the E.10th location, needs work. 3-5-2019 5 PM, I Ordered chicken on line, for delivery at 6:30 PM. Called at 6:45 to find out why my chicken was 15 minutes late arriving. After being put on hold for 5 minutes, I was told that the chicken was on it's way. ON IT"S WAY!!?? Now it's 20 minutes past dinner time, and I have to wait an additional 10-15 minutes to get my order. I told the manager "I'm not happy about this.", and got the response, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" I shouldn't have to suggest how to make it right. The manager should have apologized, which he did not do, and offered something to make up for it. I said, Well what do you think you should do? And he replied with the same lame statement. "What would you like me to do?" I finally said comp me for the chicken. He should have offered. The management needs better training. If I hadn't called when I did, it would have most likely not been delivered at all. I ordered online tonight and 40 mins later they still didn't show up. I paid with my card as you can't place an order without doing so. I called and the girl that answered said my manager said we don't have an order for you. I drove there and suddenly they found my order but said it was voided on their end but yet they can't explain to me why. I asked for either the order or my money back and they said they can't do either as I was never charged. I had proof of my order total as well as my bank account showing exactly $21.38 pending. Cody and Brian had none of that and refused to even look and kept saying "you were never charged" I asked them for the corporate number and they show me their cell phone with the number which is of course closed. They said that is the only way I will get my money back. This is absolutely ridiculous that i paid for their food and I have nothing and they could care less. You have now lost a customer for life over $21.38 and I will be sure to post my review on every single source I can including the Better Business Bureau. Shame on you Pizza Ranch. read more

The 41st Street Pizza Ranch was the best ever a few years ago but is now definitely the worst. The place was trashed. It was not busy at all but there were tables all over the place with dirty dishes of leftovers with nobody around.There were parts of peoples lunch all over the floors throughout the place. It looked like nobody there and lots of booths available but they all had dirty dishes and food spread all over . They were almost out of chicken. The buffet your way deal is more like pizza their way which is dried up leftovers and NOT what you ordered. They tried to talk me out of it by saying they might have half of one of my custom ordered pizzas on the buffet. They did not include extra cheese or mushrooms and it was obviously old and stiff - not fresh at all , not fresh at all like other Pizza Ranches in town will do. They did the same thing a few years ago at this 41st Street Pizza Ranch so I have been driving almost 40 miles to the next Pizza Ranch for the quality. I will be going to a different business for pizza if I don't want to drive to the next towns Pizza Ranch. I was treated like I was being a real pain after eating at Pizza Ranches all over this area for about 8 years now. read more
