Very inviting and friendly staff. They are very accommodating. If you don't see the pizza you want, they will make it for you . They have a fresh salad bar with many options. Numerous pizza choices , mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, chicken tenders and chicken with the bone in. The food is very good. For dessert the have cookie pies, cherry pizza and ice cream. Tea and sodas. The staff is always cleaning, whether it's the tables with used plates or sweeping. The salad bar and pizza areas are wiped down often. The price here is very reasonable also. I was out this way to see my great nephew who was playing in a baseball tournament, and we stopped here afterwards for lunch. I have one near my location, but I haven't had a chance to get there yet. We did go about 11:15-11:30am & I have to say the place was pretty clean. Pizza came out regularly and was halfway decent, they had plenty of choices. The dessert was interesting. Workers came by often, to take away your plates from the table and were generally friendly and prompt. I really have no complaints and thought it was a decent stop. The buffet comes out to somewhere between 15-20 dollars per person which isn't too bad. I also thought the Fried Chicken was pretty good. read more

We came in with a group of 7 about an hour before close and were the only table there. The people were super cool. I had a coupon for a free large pizza. I ordered the pizza and some other things, pizza was served and was great. Then, the manager came to the table and gave me my coupon back. I was so confused and asked him why. He said the pizza that we were given was not a large, which is what the coupon was for. (I never would have even realized that if he wouldn't have said anything). I asked if I could pay for the pizza, he said absolutely not. That's awesome service! The food is what you'd expect from a chain pizza joint, but the staff is great! Sometimes it can be hard to go out to eat when you have a family with little kids. This place made it fun and comfortable. We live out of town but come back to Sterling to visit family and decided to check out the new Pizza Ranch on a Friday afternoon. What a great experience! The place was very clean, had loads of seating, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly with smiles on their faces. Food was good and they had more types of food than I expected. They had 8 or so types of pizza out at a time and the type of pizza would change every time they put a new one out, which was fun variety to our meal. I never knew what specialty pizzas would be up there whenever I'd go up. They had taco pizza, mac&cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, dessert pizzas, and more. Apparently they could also make custom pizzas any way you'd like. They had a salad bar with a wide variety of choices, and well as items like chicken, waffle fries, mashed potatoes, stuffing; there was really something for everyone. Empty food trays were filled up immediately when they'd run out. They had a vanilla ice cream machine that was surprisingly delicious. (Buffet ice cream machines are usually disappointing, but this ice cream was super-good.) Beverage machines had lots of extra choices. Empty plates at the table were picked up promptly and the waitstaff interacted with us, asking it everything was good. The whole place was clean, including the buffet areas. The bonus was the arcade room, which our kids got a kick out of after the meal. It is seperated from the restaurant by a set of doors and smelled brand new. It had some really cool looking games and not only had games our early-elementery-age kids could do, but some the adults in our party wanted to try as well. Money for games and points you earned were all kept on plastic cards, which is a modern way of doing it. One of the games even gave us a big bonus, so we were able to pick out a whole bunch of prizes from the prize shelves. It looked like there was a party room right off the arcade room as well. Fairly wide selection of pizza along with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, potato wedges etc. The salad bar is typical for any buffet and there is also an ice cream machine. We do not eat here often but have had a good experience when we do. We ate here last night and the cashier when we walked in was extremely friendly and pleasant. The food is pretty good and there is a variety of pizza options to chose from. You can also request for them to make a specialty pizza that you want at no extra cost! They give you a buzzer when you put in a special request and when they have it ready you usually take it up to the counter and they give you the first slice of the pizza before they put it on the buffet. However, this last time the pizza took longer than usual to finish and when my daughter went up to give them the buzzer and get a couple slices of her special requested pizza, the pizza was already on the buffet and there was only 3 pieces left. She was a little disappointed she didn't get first pick. No big deal though, I assume somebody accidentally put the pizza out on the buffet and then realized sometime afterwards that it was actually a special requested pizza. There was plenty of other options though and our stomachs were full when we left so overall it was a good dinner :) If I were asked in my opinion what they could improve at this establishment, I would recommend they clean the floors a little better. They seem to always be sticky which is somewhat understandable being that it is a buffet. I'm sure there is many little ones that make messes while trying to be independent by making their own plates. Also, the ice cream is nice but it would be wonderful if there was more options other than just plain vanilla or at least some sort of toppings that you could add. read more

This is my favorite buffet by far. The fact that you can order any pizza you want, including stuffed crust, and it's all included in the buffet price is phenomenal. The salad bar is great (including their yummy chicken), and chocolate cactus bread is so delicious. Ice cream is surprising delicious... Most buffet places have ice chunks in ice cream... This is creamy and great with the dessert pizzas. But probably the best part of Pizza Ranch is their hospitality. Many times they've accommodated large groups even unannounced, and always with a smile. They help the kids and give extra tickets in the arcade if something's not working quite right. And the arcade is great for the kids (and adults). We go there all the time and will continue to do so. read more

Dissapointment. That's the one word that can describe them. As a former worker there, I strongly urge you not to go there. The pizza is decent at best. And do not eat any of the mashed potatoes or anything else by the mashed potatoes. When I was working there, we don't have time to always be clean, so chances are it wasn't made with care.
