Tried to order pizza for delivery. Phone was answered by a girl who was very rude and unfriendly. Was informed that only deliveries could be ordered thru DoorDash. We explained that their website said to call due to online ordering being down. We were once again rudely told to still order thru DoorDash. She offered no apology as to why the website stated this or offered any other options that could be available to be able to order for delivery. She was very unfriendly and unpleasant. It's been almost a month and I was craving breadsticks so I decided to give Pizza Round Up another try. Thankfully, they did not disappoint! Went in for the Monday night pizza buffet. There was a decent crowd of people but not overly packed. They had four different pizzas to pick from: pepperoni, Hawaiian, all meat, and supreme, all of them were delicious! There breadsticks were definitely my favorite part! The buffet price includes a drink, salad bar, and of course the pizzas/breadsticks. I think it's a great value especially if your family all eats different items on their pizza! Visited Pizza Round Up, based on reviews and came out very disappointed. As soon as entering inside, was not greeted and felt unwelcomed by the way the worker/cashier was looking at me and my family. To preface, me and my wife did bring in our coffee from outside. Was told that we cannot bring outside food or drinks in a condescending way. Thought that there can be an exception as coffee folks need there coffee but I get it. Didn't have a problem with putting it back in my car but how she told us was pretty rude. My colleague Little Megan would not stop raving about this little pizza place called PIzza Round Up..... Having had almost all the pizza's in the area, and having had management experience in the pizza industry, she credited this pizza parlor with having the "best pizza ever." Having been to New York City, I have had my fair tastes of pizza pies over the years, and after having this business' name jack-hammered and cemented into my head, I decided to order take out and see how this pizza stacks up against the competition. The location is within proximity of Marysville Highschool, approximately 2 miles from my home and the drive was fairly simple. It also happens to be located next to a local grocery store where the visibility from the street is clear and the parking is spacious. Upon entering, you get an amazing smell of pizza flooding your senses. and your eyes take in a spacious interior with medium high ceilings, a television running on the left side, and a couple of arcade machines flanked around the corner for entertainment. Overall the establishment has a casual and family atmosphere with the only thing missing is music in the overhead. The decor has opportunity, but the most important thing after all, is the taste... When I called the order in, they absolutely accommodated my request of splitting 1 pizza with two specialty selections. I ordered half Vegetarian and half Hawaiian, along with 6 hot and spicy wings. I was quoted 25 minutes, however it ended up being more around 35. The pizza itself tasted very good, and combined with the Ranch Dipping sauce they offered, it hit the spot.... Pizza Round Up does not skimp on the toppings, and every bite offers quality and comfort. To my great relief, the chicken wings were not severely spicy and eating them satisfied my craving without hurting my stomach. The ranch was quality and flavorful, thick and satisfying. I ordered a regular crust, however next time I may try the thin crust. I felt the dough was too thick for me personally, but definitely not lacking in flavor or taste. While i do not eat pizza often, I definitely enjoyed this pizza. Compared to all the pizza's I've ever had, I can't honestly say this is the best ever, but its definitely quality and worth every penny. Pizza Round Up comes thru with an honest pizza. I want to start this review off by saying we have been customers of Pizza around Up for over 5 years and it is our go to spot. Not sure if the business was sold or what happened but tonight was so bad it really called for a review. Open till 9 and we showed up at 7:59. The guy at the front taking orders was very short with us and made us very unwelcome as customers. We still ordered a pizza, wings, beers and sodas. $45ish bucks for a dinner for 4. We sat down and the bench seats are all broken so you sink in to the seat. Beers were quick and although only two out of eight taps working it was fresh. Those are the highlights. Our pizza was quick and cooked as expected but at 8:27PM the girl in charge of bussing was already stacking chairs, mopping and vacuuming while we ate our dinner. 5 feet away from us mopping with bleach and that's all we smelled. Trying to enjoy conversation and she vacuums near us. We use the restroom and the trash can is in front of the door, comet all over the ground and when we are in the bathroom she knocks on the door rushing us. I can tell you right now as good as the pizza is I refuse to support an establishment that makes me feel like a burden. Hire a staff not clock watching and wanting to help customers. But my last 2 visits to this location I really wasn't satisfied with the customer service. It almost feels like I'm bothering them. Well lordy lordy lordy....I have been all over the region today from Sac to Marysville repairing restaurant equipment. I have never been to this location of Pizza Roundup before. I am a regular at the Loma Rica location. Family owned, same owners. My cousin works at the Loma location. I cannot say enough good things about this place. What works for me may not work for you, but this place has an awesome formula for pizza and they pay particular attention to the salad bar. It has a lot of fresh and chilled ingredients. The bar is refrigerated and has a frosted ice surface between all the salad selections. The Loma Rica location does the same thing. What I see is consistency. Try it and see. I handily give this place 5 stars. Not fancy, very casual. Just how I like it! read more
