Sorry, this closed quite some time ago....it's a convenience store now. They do have some food, but it's definitely not the same.

The food was Amazing! The pizza was delicious and looked like a home made meal. The meat was great and so was the fries. But the best part was the bread. The bread was the perfect! The butter on the bread was the perfect amount and went with it so well. The people running the place was so nice and had great sense in humor. The bath was clean and had amazing smelling hand soap. For my money, Pizza star in Orbisonia is way better. My wife and I decided to try this place instead of going into orbi... Same name, not the same food. Pizza was kind of bland, there was plenty of cheese but the dough was a little flat tasting and the sauce was watery and missing Italian herb flavor. Staff was friendly and helpful but that isn't enough to overcome the lack luster pizza. read more

What an interesting place for pizza. We stopped after my daughters volleyball game and as we were being seated another team (this one soccer) came in. Although they had no waitress on duty that particular night, the owners son waited on us and made sure both our table of four and the soccer team were well taken care of. We ordered the breadsticks for an appetizer. The order came with 4 breadsticks and marinara sauce. Somehow the guy misunderstood us and brought us 4 orders for a table of four! We had a ton of breadsticks plus the bread that came with my dinner. When we explained that we only ordered ONE order the guy said he was sorry and he would meet us in the middle and we could each pay for 2 orders. That was fine and we wound up giving the soccer team 2 of the orders and still took bread home. I ordered the Ravioli dinner special which came with a dinner salad and bread for $7.95. It was ok. The sauce had a lot of pepper in it and I personally don't care for that much pepper in my sauce. I scraped most of the sauce off and just ate the cheese ravioli. My daughter and her friend ordered cheese pizza which came out hot and fresh. It was very good and the girls really enjoyed it. My husband opted for the steak and cheese sandwich. Where normally you expect shaved steak, this steak was more thick. He said it was pretty good. It was huge however so definitely keep that in mind when ordering. read more

Pizza Star 3? More like Pizza Star 5! This restaurant should be noticed more i swear! I'm not a local, I'm from Jersey so the pizza is 10/10 my personal pie today was easily a 10 definitely recommend the pizza. Service was amazing definitely 10 outta 10. First things first I'm gonna say thank you to the staff, everyone working and the owner especially who's name i wish i got. While i was waiting 2 hours for my friend to pick me up which i also wanna say thank you again the ambiance and the vibes were amazing they treated me great and with very much respect which is also amazing. Another thing i will add was while i waiting i was looking to buy a Gatorade at the front and the owner of the pizzera just let me take it on the house. WOW! That's something you don't really see anymore from all the local restaurants. That really showed me how much they cared about me and how much they studied the customer stunning pizzera and i will definitely be back next time more than once whenever I'm passing by! Food has amazing portion sizes!! Awesome service from waitress AND chef!!! I'm Gluten free and there was nothing on the menu for me. They made me a dish of anything I wanted, or could eat. Very nice place and taste ....of good was delicious!! read more

Ever have soggy chicken parm? Yeah, neither have I, until I ate here. We walked in and sat at the small cramped booth for over 10 minutes before the waitress finally came to take our orders. Two other gentlemen sat at the same time. I ordered chicken parm and a salad, my buddy ordered a small Stromboli. The other table got their salads within minutes. By the time mine came they were done with their meal and heading out. When the good finally came it looked good. The Stromboli was golden on the outside with bubbling cheese and peices of meat hanging out where they cut it to vent. My buddy had a huge smile on this face as it cut into it, only to find raw grey dough just under that beautiful crust. He picked about his undercooked boli for a bit while the guy who made it came out to ask what's wrong, obviously knowing he served questionable food. We told him it was undercooked, and he says "oh yeah, we're having problems with the oven, it's broke. It keeps burning the outside and not cooking the middle." Really guy? TURN IT DOWN. It's obviously too hot, not broke. Sigh. If this isn't enough for you to stay away, my chicken parm was terrible. It was chicken finger parm to begin with, not fresh chicken breast that's for sure. It was actually mushy. Really odd texture. The only thing I could taste was salt. It had so much cheese on it the I actually had to pool it to the sides to try to find the meat under. Just nasty. This is a great alternative to the food options on the PA Turnpike. It's right off the Willow Hill exit, when you go through the tolls and come to the stop sign it's just across the street to the right. We try to stop here just about every trip across the state. The huge sandwiches are enough to share, and are very fairly priced. Ask for an Italian grinder, it's not on the menu but it worth asking for. And that's coming from someone in the hoagie and grinder-centric Philly area. Most of the other things we've had on the menu, like the chicken parm sub have also been solid. I can't call it five stars, the food in general is probably 3.5 but the friendly service rounds it up. And to not have to wait in line for overpriced junk food at the Turnpike rest areas is worth the 1 minute drive off the Turnpike. By the way, they bake their own bread on site which is excellent. It's used for the sandwich rolls and pizza dough. And for Breast Cancer Awareness month, they colored all the dough pink which I thought was pretty unique. read more

Probably my worst dining experience in my 45 years on this earth. Stopped in on a weekend afternoon for lunch with my family. There were only 2 other tables with patrons. We placed a simple order of pizza and soft drinks. Our pizza took 45 min to arrive and when it did it was cold and the toppings were incorrect. We were hungry so ate most of it anyway. The waitress didn't bother to apologize. The worst part was when I overheard the owner berating another customer because he had "an attitude". This guy only asked how much longer his order would be and this owner told him "with that attitude why don't you just leave". Well I can't believe someone in the service industry would act like that. I would give 0 stars if possible. You are better off at the turnpike rest stop. read more

What did I like about this place? Nothing. I'm not from around here but even a Little Caesar's pizza would've been better. If you want five pounds of cheese on bland sauce and flavorless dough barely heated through then this the place for you. Never again...culinary wasteland out here. read more

This name is misleading because it is so much more than pizza. The seafood bisque is worth travelling miles to savor. I had the fettuccine alfredo and I just breathed in the grated cheese. No bottled sauce here. And the bread is great! read more

Was excited to try based on reviews. Very easy to get to off Turnpike and easy to park. Servers were quick and helpful. What can I say, the pizza was way too cheesy and just OK. Absolutely nothing special. Salad had bread and butter pickles and shredded mozzarella over iceberg with some sliced tomatoes. Bread dough in syrup was tasty. Should have brought out after dinner.
