I don't order from Marcello's as much as I should. Their food has been consistently great since I…read morewas in high school over a decade ago. Truthfully, I have a pizza shop located slightly closer to me in town that's pretty amazing too, but don't get me wrong: there are plenty of pizza-shaped spaces in my Italian heart for everybody who deserves it. Marcello's typically has the best prices in town. If Domino's is bottom tier, M's holds the top shelf. I ordered a large pie through an app a few weeks back and it was incredibly good, but for only $1.49 more, today I opted for the square-shaped Sicilian crust and my gosh is it awesome!! The crust is toasty, the sauce is robust. The cheese is baked in and stays in place. The texture is soft yet crispy in all the right spots! This might be a "plain" in terms of toppings, but it's anything but plain in flavor. I actually prefer it sans pepperoni because it's a lot less greasy and there's a lot to savor there that meat eclipses. It's also a generous amount of food if you're hungry and want leftovers, usually they're just as great the next day. I might not be able to return to regular crust! In fact, I was full after one slice, but I really wanted more. I have no idea how they get the perfectly baked texture throughout, but I have no doubt in my mind Marcello's is an amazing choice for a pie. If you're new to the area, you won't be disappointed. You'll instantly see why this is a Carlisle cult favorite!

I really enjoyed the food from here! The lobster ravioli is very very good! Very large portions! I…read moreordered a medium stuffed pizza, and I can't imagine what the large looks like! It is huge! I also ordered the breaded mushrooms and it would've fed 3 people! How are they making money with portions this big! The service was top notch also! I can't handle spicy food, not even pepperoni, and I have a hard time speaking some times because I had a full laryngectomy but the young lady at the counter was very kind and patient with me, and helped me find some substitutes and they didn't charge me anything extra! The place had a nice vibe going on, everyone in the kitchen was busy, but all seemed to be enjoying what they did! I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for top notch Italian cuisine! Very tasty!

Staff is ridiculously friendly and attentive--basically treated me like a long-lost cousin who hadn't eaten in a week. We kicked things off with their fresh, house-baked ciabatta paired with an herb-loaded olive oil and butter combo. The bread was so good I almost forgot I had actual food coming. The play-by-play: Fresh Calamari: Crispy, tender, and served with a killer marinara. Absolutely incredible. Braised Beef Ravioli: You only get four on the plate, but these bad boys are built like linebacker kneepads. Homemade pasta, packed with savory beef, and drenched in a sweet marinara. Spaghetti alle Vongole: Homemade spaghetti tossed with fresh clams in a rich red sauce spiked with garlic, white wine, and fresh herbs. Fantastic flavor. The Pizza: Hey, for Pennsylvania? Pretty solid backup options if you're not going full pasta mode. The best part? All their pasta is made completely fresh in-house, and the portion sizes are strictly "feed a Roman army" certified. Who knew Pennsylvania Italian food could punch this far above its weight class? 10/10, would willingly accept the inevitable food coma again.

Always clean, always your favorite itailian dishes and service is always great. Tonight or server was Caleb and our compliments to Caleb who was top end, very friendly and attentive. TonightbI had Veal Parmigana with Spaghetti. Being from Phill originally I love thier Veal Parm which has a lite crunch on the outside but tender and quick inside topped with the right amount of sauce and cheese. Was perfect. I also had a Canolli for dessert which has such i light and fluffy filling drilled with chocolate sauce, one of the best. Cya next time.
