We absolutely love their pizza and food. The hot Italian sandwich is so yummy, I could eat it everyday. The down side of Pizza time is the customer service. The gal cooking in the back is sweet as can be. But the guy up front and answering the phone is not welcoming at all. I have to think if I want to deal with him before I make a decision to go to Pizza time. Some days, I don't want to deal with him, so we go elsewhere. Pizza was good. Ordered at 4:20pm didn't get it till 6:45. When I called I asked him what's taking so long and he said "it's coming out of the oven" I went to the store and actually saw him putting my pizza in the oven. So I decided to spend my Valentine's Day at pizza time in Downey but as soon as I walked into the restaurant I should have walked back when I seen the cook who looked like he hasn't showered in days and a huge Mohawk but I decided to give it a chance since everything was so packed because of Valentine's Day. So the server come to take our order and was rude didn't say hi or anything. So he takes our order like it killed him they take forever to bring our food. We finally get our order and there's a roach in our food . HORRIBLE!!!!! I ordered a medium pizza and two cans of soda total was 16 something & once the pizza arrived I gave the guy 20 bucks he didn't have any change so I paid 19 bucks for a medium pizza. This pizza was soooooooooooooooooooooo nasty.. Had a weird taste to the cheese and so much oil not kidding I used four napkins to dab it down for my children -_- my kids couldn't even eat a slice. I've been coming to this place pretty regularly since Persico's Italian Market and Pizza closed down. It's no where near as good as Persico's, but just good enough to make me a regular customer. I used to really like the Family Meal deal that they had. You got a pizza, lasagna, a couple of salads, bread, and a couple of medium sized drinks. My lasagna is better, but Pizza Time is convenient. You get all that for less than 30 bucks. It can easily feed a family of 4. I'm divorced now, so I don't order that. Nowadays, I just order the pizza. Sometimes, I get the wings. Only once was I really impressed with the wings. They were nice and spicy and had great flavor. Most the time though, they're just "meh". Meaning, they're sort of rubbery and slimy and not really all that spicy. I still get them though because they do please that wing craving every now and then. The pizza is alright. I say it's better than the big name pizza places. My only issue is that they don't cook it long enough so the crust isn't as crispy as it should be. The sauce could be described as a bit bland, but it's not bad at all. One of my favorite sauces is Pizza Hut sauce, but I think Pizza Time has better toppings. I mean, the quality is better. When it comes to topping quality, I base this on the appearance of the mushrooms. If they look like mushrooms and not unrecognizable black slivers of fungus, then I'm happy with the quality of the toppings. Usually, you can't screw up anything else that goes on a pizza. Of course, it's got to taste good too, but again that's hard to screw up. I almost forgot to mention the cheese topping. They give you adequate amounts of cheese. It does come off a bit greasy though. The flavor is good and it tastes of quality cheese. I have to say that I have never had a problem with customer service at Pizza Time. They usually get my order right and on time. That's one of the reasons why I come back. Anyway, I will keep coming back. Well that is until Persico decides to reopen. I miss that pizza! read more

This place is great. Everytime me and my wife come we are greeted with great customer and friendly service by the young lady with the blonde hair. The pizza is also beyond tasty. Why go to round table or downey pizza co and spend $30 on a large 2 topping when you can get one here half the price and with better taste. I love the pizza here. It's my go-to pizza place, and I moved out of their delivery range which was such a bummer, but luckily I can order through Yelp. My typical order is a large pepperoni and mushroom, with a side of mild wings with ranch. The pizza is nice and cheesy, I really like the flavor and the crust, but the wings are the selling point for me. I can't handle spicy food very well, but these mild wings are perfect. Meaty and delicious. I have also gotten the family meal that comes with fried chicken, bread sticks, potatoes, and I believe salad. Great deal. Definitely worth checking out. read more
