We ordered a little of everything since this was our first time trying Pizza World. We had a couple different types of boneless wings, garlic cheese bread, a calzone, a meatball sub, and a couple pizzas. Our family enjoyed everything. My favorite thing was the Calzone. Well, a year later and I'll have to say not much has changed. We ordered a large thin crust pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza and a side of cheese sticks. Ordering and delivery was friendly and fast, but that's honestly where it ends. The pizza was completely bland, and reminded us of a frozen pizza you would buy for $3 at the supermarket. Our cheese sticks/bread was missing cheese on half of them. With a 20% tip, our order came out to just shy of 40$ -- totally not worth it. Like their pizza for the most part. Last time I order from there I used the order online. I checked all the correct boxes and ordered my pizza. When I arrived my pizza felt light (I always order extra cheese and did when I ordered it). I looked and there was no Cheese! They said that was the way I ordered it and I said no the online ordering messed it up. No I didn't check my confirmation why would I I order Extra Cheese! They were happy to make me another pizza if I paid for it. I said NO. Their system messed up the order and I was going to pay for another pizza. I just wanted what I know I ordered. Got the Taste of Chicago pizza w chicken, bacon, ricotta, and spinach. The pizza and sauce were very good and flavorful. I really liked the crust too. Chewy yet soft. The only reason I gave a 3/5 stars is because I only had two pieces of chicken and one piece of bacon that I tasted on the two pieces of pizza that I ate. If the toppings were a little more plentiful I definitely would have rated them higher. For the quality of ingredients and Chicago style pizza (original crust is what we got) the price of $20 for a large wasn't bad at all! read more

We were pleasantly surprised and ate far more than we normally would have. Since first time we returned a month later for their five thirty something slice lunch and while the seating area is not large the food and the staff were excellent. The only negative I can come up with is it's difficult to get into south bound from Edgewood rd. Take 42 st turn Parking lot has too many restricted spaces for convenience do to many businesses in an area but once there worthwhile. read more

I ordered for delivery on their website before they even opened for the day(10 am) with a delivery time of 4:30 pm, order consisted of 1 big world pizza and 3 other normal sized pizzas. 4:45 rolls around no pizza, no calls saying they are running late, I call them and get told it is my fault it is late because their oven can only fit 1 big world pizza and nothing else and it is going to be another 20+ minutes. So you have had this order since you opened for the day, 5 hours to figure out your timing to get it out on time, but them being late is my fault and what kind of business doesn't notify a customer when they know they will be late...this was not the first problem I have dealt with with Pizza World but it was definitely the last. Only reason for 3 stars is because the pizza is good. read more

We wanted to try something new. After driving past this place several times over the last year, we decided to try them out. They were average. The pizza was okay and the garlic bread was awesome but the cheese sticks were not good at all. Also when specifically asked for no contact delivery and they did deliver the food to our house. But I still had to go outside and sign the receipt. I told the delivery driver that we asked for no contact delivery and he understood. Really disappointed that in this time of social distancing that if you offer contactless delivery, you need to follow up on it. We may try them again at a later date but as of right now we are definitely not ordering from them anytime soon. read more

I've always loved their pizza, which deserves five stars on its own and is one of my favorites in Eastern Iowa, but what really makes this place amazing happened while I was waiting for my pizza. I showed up early for a carry out order, and was sipping a drink when a family with two young kids came in. One of the employees took the time, while they were incredibly busy, to come out with small pieces of dough to entertain the kids and teach them how to knead and toss pizza dough. It was absolutely heartwarming and adorable, and the world "kneads" more people like him who time a small amount of time to make a kids' day. 5/5 for the pizza, 10/5 stars for the people. read more

I was there waiting for an order. Another woman was waiting with I believe a DoorDash bag. The lady who gave her, her food to deliver was very mean to her. The girl clearly annoyed turned around and walked out and pushed the door. Well it made a loud sound, cause it's one of those ones with that bar you push down, not her fault.
