We had pepperoni, sausage, green olives, and basil for toppings, but they seemed a bit light - especially the meats. A little more flavor and spice from the meat would have helped pierce through an otherwise pretty average sweet marinara sauce, creating a nicer balance. We almost ate the whole pie, but we were able to get the last piece wrapped in foil to take home with us along with a couple pieces of bubble gum (their fun take on an after-dinner mint/snack). The people I shared a seat back with must've been involved in a royal rumble as about every 2-3 minutes I'd get a huge bump in my back from the people on the other side. When I put my hand down to slide into the booth, it was covered in crumbs. I put my hand on the table top and it had crumbs as well. I ended up asking my waiter to grab a washcloth to wipe my table as there was some food stains on it too. Someone must've cleared the table without wiping the table or seats down. My waiter was on top of things and was friendly. The pizza however, was on point as it always is. The crust was thick, buttery crunch on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. I remember their pan crust pizzas being really greasy back in the day, but on this visit the pizzas weren't greasy at all. I probably wouldn't have minded the grease, but certainly didn't need it! Pizzas were tasty. Downside: super pricey. Probably the most expensive 'chain' pizza place in town. Ordering from here is a special occasion thing. FYI: This is a pick-up/delivery location only. I usually have a mixed drink and their pizza and have yet to be disappointed, so next time, that's what I'll do. Avoid the lasagna or whatever it is they call lasagna. As far as the bar itself is concerned? I love the retro look and feel of the place, always have, always will. This time though, there were A LOT of kids there - must've had some sort of special going on. It wasn't loud or obnoxious or kids running everywhere while we there, I've just never seen that many kids there before. No biggie.
