Loved it and agree with the other reviews - the sampler is the way to go!! Everyone was super kind and attentive.

Great spot for lunch after touring St. Peter's Basilica! We arrived about 10 minutes before opening and were seated and told to wait a few minutes, which we were totally fine with. Not even five minutes later, the friendly waiter brought us a fried cheesy rice ball on the house "for the wait." Great customer service! No menus, so you either need to know what pizza you want or go with the waiter's suggestion of the pizza sampler. Luckily the sampler is amazing. You can see in the picture below, it's 6 different types, with 2 generous slices of each. I don't remember exactly what he called each flavor, but from what I remember, from the top clockwise the kinds were: bacon, pesto with eggplant, cheese and porcini mushrooms, bufala mozzarella, ham and garlic cream (i think? not sure), and spinach and mozzarella. All were delicious, hot, and crispy. The couple seated next to us was vegetarian, and they were easily able to adjust the platter to accommodate that as well. If you're as hungry and thirsty as we were after walking around the Vatican, you can not go wrong with lunch here! read more

2 brothers who are both owners. One of them being the face of the restaurant and the other is more behind the scenes. They are both extremely friendly and outgoing. This place has a perfect rating on both Yelp and TripAdvisor so I had to try it out. I got the mixed platter which comes with a variety of different slices of pizza. Overall, they were solid. Nothing crazy, just solid, good pizza. They also provided a free appetizer which was great. Personally, I didn't think the pizza was phenomenal the way people described it to be. This place is absolutely amazing and not just because of the food. Jacobo was the friendliest Italian I have met during my trip. The service was absolutely perfect. They were so tentative. This place is also delicious and super affordable. We got the pizza sampler that is €9 per person and a bottle of red wine for under €20. The panakota was so light it was perfect. Best pizza in Roma!! We stopped by here for lunch before visiting the Vatican Museum. The service is amazing. We opted to sit outside because the inside is full and is really tiny. They turned on the heat lamp, sat us down and said they will bring over a mixed plate for the three of us. I've been to the other pizza place - Bonci. This is absolutely 100% better. Everything tasted so fresh and beautiful. After having such an awful food experience in Rome, everything here tasted like heaven. We even ordered more pesto, mushroom, and bacon to fill out bellies! If you are near the Vatican area ( which if you are visiting Rome I know you are) head to this place, 4 min walk from there. The pizza is out of this world, we were reluctant at first after the server told us he would bring us a slice of most of the types of pizzas they had but we went ahead with it. What is more disappointing is that I've always wanted to try the pizza with zucchini slices and I even politely requested for it. The host said those were gone even though we were actually here at three pm. When we leave I went to use the bathroom, and saw the zucchini pizzas lying right there in their windows!! There is no menu so you are basically going off of the waiter's suggestions or what you go into the shop to pick out. Found this from Yelp & since it was a fairly reasonable walk, we went for it. I feel sorry for all the people reading the menu posted out front at the other pizzerias nearby since they would clearly be missing out on this gem. From the start, the place is small but inviting with every staff person offering a hearty "Ciao!" For those of you who prefer menus, cloth napkins, and "Hawaiian pizzas", please move on. This place is less about the pretense & all about the good times & good food. We were seated out front at a small table for 3 and our drink order was taken along with food. Like I said, no menus, just which beer or wine or soda or water and do you like meat? Yes! Do you like spicy? Yes! The sampler platter is the universal recommendation, either a meat version, a vegetarian version, or a blend of the two. They will bring a slice of each for each of your party. We were also treated to an appetizer of fried goodness (mozzarella with some sort of rice? Fried into a small ball. Amazing). Back to the pizza. Each slice was a solid rectangle and there were 6 versions! Then as we finished our first one, an additional version replaced that one. This was a lot of pizza, and what made it great in my opinion was getting to mix up the flavors & tastes so much; you didn't have to order one, perhaps get tired of it and then wonder if the others were good. Holy crap! The pizza was amazing! The crust is not like regular pizza. It's sooo much better. The eggplant pizza with pesto is amazing. But the highlight of this place really is the people. They are the friendliest, funniest, nicest guys in Roma. Roberto, Rico and the greatest waiter ever were just fantastic. Even THEIR beer was so good. It was like being in their home kitchen. They kept bringing us food to try! And it was awesome! Homemade tiramisu was wonderful. If they were even slightly closer to my hotel, id go for dinner. This is the most amazing staff! All I have to say is DO IT. You will not regret it. I agree that some slices were a bit salty buuut overall IT WAS DELICIOUS. Not costly for the amount you receive and the service was amazing. If you visit Vatican City, you MUST VISIT Pizza Zizza! This place was amazing, and by FAR the best pizza we ate while in Rome! The guys running the show clearly have so much fun in their work. AMAZING food!! I went with my family during one of my many trips to Italy and this is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything I've tried is delicious!!!! They also have a homemade spicy olive you that you can ask for that will add a nice kick to your meal, something hard to find in Europe. Pizza omakase lol! Love love love this place. Please go if you're ever in Rome. The restaurant is small so I suggest going right when they open as they can packed pretty fast. The staff is super friendly and funny. I think they only have basically one thing on the menu which is the pizza sampler unless you have a special request (like vegetarian or some sort of allergy).
