Tried to add some powdered parm to absorb the 10 gallons of sauce. Lol.

7-12-26 Sunday evening Just Got a Margherita Pizza ... at PizzAMore. ( my wife wanted to try something local other than Hot Tomato or Pablo's Pizza ) So, First the good - Friendly person at the register. The rest ... the pizza looked like a crime scene ... waaay too much red sauce... splattered everywhere! No other flavor - No olive oil- basil & a smattering of mozzarella...All I taste right now is a tsunami of red sauce. A Margherita Pizza is supposed to represent the colors of the Italian flag ... this work of art? Was street flag graffiti with one color that would make Canada and China proud! Red! 2 Countries famous for their pizzas! I support local when and where I can ... I also support good pizza and attention to detail. Unfortunately none of that happened tonight. PizzAMore is PizzA-NO-More for me for now. There was enough sauce on this pie for 10 pizzas and a meatball sub. Save the Sauce! And pay attention. You can do it. But tonight I can't undo $35 and a subpar Pizza ...So, I'm popping some Tums for the heartburn and leaving this review for people I will not meet - If you want a pizza ... you might wanna look elsewhere. If you want a Lot of sauce and breadsticks? PizzAmore is the place. Dave A. Grand Junction

First time here, was very happy with the quality of the food. The staff was friendly. Got their salad and pizza. I would definitely come back again. Recommend giving this place a try.

Pizza has the perfect amount of grease on it., pepperoni was nice and crispy. Hubby never eats his crust and did with this pizza. We got 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pep. We also got a cannoli which was very yummy. Next time we'll prob go to tho establishment so that we can have it fresh and not 15 min cold from the DoorDash drive.

Really good by pizza. Better than Dominos for sure. Tastes more authentic than Bostons and is a blend of Hot Tomato pizza but with a more robust red sauce which I like. Nice staff too.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Service was quick and friendly. Nice family owned restaurant. Played great music and had a great time with my family! I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We came here because our first choice restaurant was closed Christmas Eve and I'm glad we did!! They have several options, the usual pizzas as well as some of their own. They have gluten free and cauliflower for crust options. We got the carnivore with a gluten free crust and the basil chicken pesto. We LOVED the carnivore. It was tasty, juicy and overall delicious. The pesto was interesting with the pesto sauce, basil, feta cheese and maybe garlic? But I couldn't have more than one slice of it because it felt heavy. I'll recommend these guys over and over again for pizza, if you're looking for good pizza in Grand Junction!!

The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

I could mention several criticisms of recent managerial decisions, but I'll just limit it to one. The "American Breakfast" has disappeared, replaced by an a la carte ordering model. I assume this reflects price creep and the reality that the market will not support a $20 counter-service breakfast (especially one that prompts for pre-tipping) when a comparable $12 option is available across the street at a full-service restaurant. Combined with long wait times and lukewarm food, caused by either amateurs in the kitchen or lackadaisical food delivery by the counter-staff, Cafe Sol has regretfully moved to my "occasionally OK" list.

However, the inside was gorgeous with tall windows and nice decor. You walk into the Maverick hotel and go the 4th floor to get there. 3 out of the 4 of us in our group ordered the Shakshuka, which was flavorful and delicious to soak the sourdough into. I recommend over easy or over medium for your eggs on this. Served with feta and sliced avocado on top. We also got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and were pleasantly surprised to see that it came with entire filet of salmon for only an extra $6. We were expecting a few slices of salmon, but this was great! The fresh toast was ordered for the table. I found it to be a 7/10. Loved the peach inside, but was underwhelmed overall. If you're a group of 4 maybe consider getting the fresh press coffee, which our server recommended we do. Perfect serving size for us, but if your group drinks a lot of coffee just get the drip. Chalee was our server, and she was wonderful and kind. AC was BLASTING, if you run cold bring a sweater.

My wife and I were really excited to check out Devil's Kitchen during our time in Grand Junction…read more It sits up on the rooftop of the Hotel Maverick. We decided to drop in without a reservation. The host was honestly pretty weird about it. He told us he had to go ask his waiters if they would even agree to take us. Truth be told, that is a bizarre way to welcome paying guests. They ultimately found a spot for us. Then they abandoned us for a solid fifteen minutes before anyone even approached the table. We finally ordered our drinks and watched another twenty minutes tick away. I went with the CMU Centennial Manhattan. It is built with a Colorado bourbon, sweet vermouth, local hot honey, bitters, and a bordeaux cherry. A proper Manhattan needs a careful balance between the whiskey and the sweet vermouth to round out the bite. Honestly, they were just way too heavy-handed with that hot honey. It was so aggressively spicy that it just wasn't enjoyable. My wife ordered the Lavender Lemon Drop. Hers was actually perfectly balanced with a really nice citrus kick. We put in an order for the Deviled Kitchen Eggs. Another twenty minutes passed before they hit the table. They make them with a tempura fried egg white and an herb yolk. I appreciate the attempt at a crispy texture. They were decent but ultimately nothing special. My wife ordered the Bison Tip Pappardelle. I decided on the Roasted Dirty Hippie Half Chicken. They use a local Palisade beer marinade for the chicken. I ordered it with duck fat potato dippers and truffle yucca on the side. Another thirty minutes crawled by before the main courses arrived. Both dishes were just huge letdowns. The pappardelle noodles were completely stuck together in a starchy clump. The wild mushroom cream sauce was overly sweet and cloying instead of savory. The bison meat was tough and tasted exactly like plain boiled beef. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about that pasta dish. My chicken wasn't any better. It had a terribly rubbery texture. It felt like it was roasted three days ago and lazily reheated. The skin was soggy and gross instead of crisp and properly rendered. The duck fat dippers were completely missing that deep, savory richness you expect when cooking with animal fats. The truffle yucca was actually pretty tasty. A good side dish just can't make up for a terrible main course, though. We didn't bother asking for a second round of drinks. The food was so poor that we skipped dessert and just asked for the check. The panoramic view of the Colorado National Monument from the rooftop is fantastic. A beautiful sunset just isn't enough to excuse a bad dinner, though. We expected a much higher-end culinary experience. What we got felt like a bunch of college students running a very disorganized experiment. I would definitely skip this spot.

Dined at Enzo's Ristorante Italiano last month and realized I forgot to leave a review -- but it's…read moredefinitely worth mentioning. It's a good spot for a nice dinner out. I started with the Italian Wedge salad, which was excellent. I'm not a ranch fan, so I had them swap it out for Italian dressing, and it paired perfectly. I always love starting a meal with a good wedge, and this one did not disappoint. For the main course, I ordered the Pasta with Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce. I'm a big fan of spicy Italian flavors -- it's a different kind of heat -- and this dish delivered. The Calabrian peppers (one of my favorite peppers) were perfectly incorporated, giving it great depth and flavor. The spice level was just right: bold and flavorful without being overwhelming. If I had one critique of the meal, it would be the pasta itself -- the noodles were fine, but nothing particularly special. That said, the sauce and overall flavor more than made up for it. I skipped dessert only because the portion size of the main dish was so generous there was no room left. If I had ordered one, it absolutely would've been the tiramisu. Honestly, slightly smaller portions on the entrée wouldn't hurt, but that's not a bad problem to have. Also, the aesthetics of the dining area need some work, feels kind of outdated and old, the tables near the kitchen entrance doors tacky and the tables felt crammed in there, minimal space between tables. It could really use some updates of the interior to bring the dining room up to the experience you'd expect for a $55.00 meal before tax for 1 person. Overall, a very enjoyable meal, and I would go back.
