I am quite surprised at the low rating of this place! I thought it was pretty yummy. I came in with some co-workers while we were in town for work and we were sat immediately. The space is huge and I believe they are a full blown bar at night. I ordered the salad bar, which wasn't stellar but it had enough for what I needed! I also ordered the Carnitas Pulled Pork pizza and it was honestly delicious. I drizzled the hot honey all over it because it is absolutely yumtastic. Went to Mama Ree's to try the pizza with my family around 6:30pm on a Friday night. Place was mostly empty. Our waitress was cold, and unattentive,and not welcoming. Made us feel like she was doing us a favor. Pizza- just okay... nothing special. I would skip going to this resturant. Probably a good place for college students late night, but don't bother bringing your family here. Your money will be better spent somewhere else! read more

The food is always great. The restaurant is spacious. Lighting and ambience are excellent. The staff are warm, welcoming, and eager to serve. Bathrooms are super clean. They have an extensive line of in-house drafts, and many other mainstream drafts that you'd be familiar with. Thursdays through Saturdays from 9 P.M. till 2 A.M. they have a genuine nightclub experience with dance music, a large dance floor, and an amazing sound system. Four pool tables, corn hole and beer pong are featured as well. I've been there many times and have always had a great experience at this establishment. Would highly recommend. read more

Sat at bar for 10 minutes after host suggested I sit there since they "weren't too busy". Staff milling about looking "busy" the way those Dilbert cartoons suggest. Don't do it. Took close to an hour and a half to get a pizza and a $12 slice of lasagna, which looked like it was forgotten about 3 days ago and then reheated with some sauce and cheese. Saw our server twice during the entire time that we were waiting. Feels sterile inside and seriously, the music was so incredibly loud and bad. We literally could have ordered a pizza from Hot Tomato in Fruita, drove back to Palisade and enjoyed our dinner in the time that it took for this ordeal to unfold. Excellent place! Their Mac n cheese bbq pizza was actually 10/10. Staff are friendly and helpful. People that come here are friendly & happy to help with my newbie pool questions. Pool used to be free but now costs $ due to balls being stolen. Understandable and I'm mostly cool with that- makes it more likely a table will be available. Dance floor is fun. Line dancing occurs on Fri & Sat I believe. Personally I'm terrible but I find it fun regardless! Place gets more crowded around 11 pm if that's your thing. Buttered spaghetti noodles, with heaps of Pecorino cheese in a garlic infused olive oil, finished with freshly cracked black pepper. So I am not sure why the reviews of this restaurant are so dismal. We enjoyed eating here! They have a diverse beer and cocktail menu along with good pizza. After reading the reviews of this place, my husband and I figured we might as well give it a shot. It was not busy and we were seated right away. Our waiter maybe seemed a little distracted (he seemed new) but he still checked in regularly and answered any questions we had. My husband got their IPA and I kid you not, it tasted like how burning rubber smells. I don't know what happened to this poor IPA but that's not what it should taste like. Our pizzas arrived in 15 minutes which was a pleasant surprise after reading other reviews. The flavors also weren't bad, I got the PP&G pizza because I'm a sucker for goat cheese, but the corn meal or semolina flour they used on the bottom of their pizzas was excessive. I had to wipe my hands off every time I touched my pizza because they would get covered. Now I know pizza is a messy food but it isn't super appealing to have your hands covered in a burnt, grimy mess every time you touch your food. Even if we ignored the fact that two 10-inch pizzas took 70 minutes to come out and our 'old fashioned' was two shots of crown + a maraschino cherry, it'd still deserve one star. The owner can be to thank for that, he was being perverted to all of his female staff the ENTIRE time we were there (which was way too long). We sat at the bar and in the 1.5 hours we were there, he had his beer glass filled 5 times. He hovered over the female employees, literally got right up next to them, and made gross comments about their drink making/serving. While the staff was working away, he was getting drunk sitting on a stool near the bar- staring at the ladies while he did it. A friend and I tried this new pizza and beer place. When we arrived, we were told there was a twenty minute wait. I gave my name and waited to be called. Several 4 person groups arrived after us and were seated almost immediately. After 30 minutes, I went to the desk and asked why we had not been seated. I was told that restaurant policy was to NOT seat 2 person groups at 4 person tables and that there were no 2 person tables available. Needless to say, I was not happy and asked to speak to the manager. He told me it was policy and there wasn't anything he could do about this. I then told them to take my name off the list and that we would go else where. I receive no apology or hint that they cared. Not a great first impression. The pizza was very good, if overcooked a bit. I've never had it where it wasn't burned on the bottom. They had their dance floor & stage open and tables crowded together so I felt like I was eating with the people at the table behind us, but it gave a little girl a chance to dance and entertain us. Our waitress was fine. The beer selection was okay. We went early - around 5:30. I always have leftover pizza, and it was good reheated. Not a good experience at all! We ordered the Mav pie pizza. It arrived lukewarm. The bottom and crust were not done; they were both still very doughy. In addition, the Mac and cheese on top was tough and chewy and again, not warm. The waitress, although pleasant at first, was very difficult to summon and when I finally got her attention, her response was lackluster at best. She literally couldn't have cared less that the pizza was not done and only slightly warm. Her response to my pointing this out was did I want a box? I feel most other places that care about their customers would have offered a discount of some sort and/or an offer to send the manager over, or at the very least an acknowledgment and apology for a third rate pizza - none of that was done. To finish it off, the waitress never returned to our table! I had to flag her down for our check, as she was clearly avoiding us.
