I believe they lost our order and instead of telling us about it - they are trying to rush it. We ordered garlic knots and they came to our table freezing cold. I ordered 2 small Pizzas thru Grubhub at 12 15. Order time was 60 to 80 minutes. I called after 90 minutes to find that they had not even atsrted the pizza uet because "they were busy". They said the pizzas would be made immediately and delivered asap. After 30 minutes i called grubhub who was told the pizza was already delivered . Needless to say i cancelled my order. This is one of our favorite go to places. The food is always consistent and the service is friendly. Tonight when we were there they were extremely busy. We had Peyton as our waitress and she did great. I believe she was suppose to be off but she stayed to help the server who would be on her own, Olivia. They both didn't great handling the crowd and never once got frustrate. They worked great as a team and even though we waited a little for our check I was not annoyed at all because I could see that they were working fast and staying friendly. Saw this new restaurant opened up next to Bagel World one morning and decided to come check it out for lunch. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I ended up getting the Eggplant Parmigiana which was excellent. The eggplant was crisp and covered in delicious mozzarella cheese and smothered in marinara. One of my friends had the lasagna and really enjoyed that as well. We also ordered a pizza for the table, with meatballs, black olives and extra cheese. It was awesome. They asked how we liked our pizza prepared which I thought was really cool. Did we want light or extra sauce? How did we like our crust? etc. In some places when you order online you get those options but I thought it was cool they asked us in store too. The pizza was great, they definitely don't skimp on the extra cheese! The crust was nice and crisp just like we requested. However the real standout was their sauce! I come out to Cocoa Beach to visit my dad often and there are a lot of pizza and italian places around here but their sauces are just too sweet for me. They make their sauce here from scratch and it wasn't overly sweet at all. My favorite part of the pizza for sure. What a breath of fresh air. We went to Pita Paradise first. Even though they are open until 9pm, they refused to serve is at 8:29pm and were incredibly rude. So happy to call this place and hear a friendly voice on the line! We ordered a medium meat lovers pizza - and they gave us a large - just because they wanted to be nice. The ingredients were fresh, the crust awesome! We got a side Caesar which was also good. Next time you are in the mood for good food in Cocoa- pass Pita by and head for pizza instead. I get takeout from here on average once a week. The staff is always very friendly and the food is great! Portions are good and the garlic knots that come with the meals are tasty! I havent had a bad meal from here yet. The only reason I did not give five stars is because they have a knack for messing up orders, either forgetting an item or making it wrong. Consistency is off, the boneless wings are always different...either with no sauce, drizzled sauce or covered the proper way. The veggie pasta is also inconsistent...sometimes super oily and sometimes just right. Overall a great place with good food at fair prices. Oh where to even start. The food quality is just bad. Canned Alfredo sauce, canned tomato sauce with huge chunks of garlic. The chicken in my Alfredo was way over cooked and super dry the sauce was super thick and not very creamy. The only redeeming quality was found in the garlic knots which were amazing and the very very nice waitress. We are taking a cannoli for the road which will hopefully be good. We came here based on Yelp reviews and we're very pleased. We arrived about 5pm and we were the only ones in the place and it was great because we beat the rush. Just as we finished more started to arrive. The garlic knots were outstanding, anti pasta salad (small) was very generous and the dressing was good, and the two pizzas were full of flavor. So we come here at 5:30 PM for dinner and are seated right away. It took sometime but somebody finally came over to take a drink or possibly an appetizer order. So a little more time passes and then finally someone comes over to take our order. Now mind you the restaurant is not that busy at that particular moment. We put our orders in and Anna send like an eternity until the soup and salad came. So about an hour goes by and we still don't have dinner or any news of dinner being forthcoming. So I get up and go out to the other part of the restaurant where there was nobody sitting when we came in but now there were five tables filled with people and magically those folks are all eating their dinner yet we are sending out a posse to try to find out where our dinner are. So an hour and a half later here comes our dinner to the table and guess what you're right part of the order is wrong, imagine that. I ordered carbonara with fettuccine. About a half hour after that the young lad comes to the table and says we can't find any habanero on the menu so we're not sure what you order....hmmmm I look at it and done founded and had to ask him what he was talking about. I said I ordered carbonara with fettuccine and then head to point to it on the menu and wish I got the response of ohhhh WTF REALLY. So to get back dinner comes and of course two of the dinners are wrong. One had to go back to be remade because it was totally not what the person ordered. The other dinner of course which was mine comes out with rigatoni carbonara when I specifically asked for fettuccine. Upon questioning another waitress she tells me yeah we're out of fettuccine. So I'm like OK why did you not tell me that a half an hour ago or longer and I would've got something else but instead you just made what you felt like making. She says to me yeah sorry but the kids is waiting on you is new and not trained and we just had to throw him into the mix tonight....again WTF!!!! At this point I'm starving and will probably eat almost anything so I'm not sending it back but it is certainly not what I wanted. They had the same issues there a few years ago but I thought they had taken care of that but obviously not. They did take 50% off my meal which I guess is the least I could do but then again I don't want it for nothing. Oh I want is what I ordered and in a fairly timely manner. Hour and a half for a place is not that busy is not timely when you have other people that come in after you and are already eating. They're kind of hit and miss. When they're good they're good but when they're bad they're really bad. The trouble is you don't know how they're gonna be until you actually get there. Not much more I can say here except the fact that I probably will not go back. That's sad to say because they have the potential to be a really good restaurant. With the proper management and training they could be great. I've talk to the owner before a few years ago and actually had his cell phone number but I seem to of lost it out of my phone so I guess there's no chance of me being able to talk to him again. Take your chances and beware and hopefully when you go there they're on their game but they certainly were not last night. And even with the bad service and a discount on the mail, we were in a group of seven, we still tipped our server who they threw into the mix without any training over 20%. Found this gem by pure chance a diamond in the rough. Food was amazing! They were light staffed but you wouldn't know it. Rebecca was running from room to room but never missed a beat, personable, attentive despite being short staffed and busy. Food came out piping hot and was some of the best Italian we've ever had. Awesome! We came here for dinner the day of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy first launch, so there were a lot of tourists besides just us here. Hah hah.. the traffic was ridiculous, and the restaurant was crazy busy, but the wait staff and the kitchen staff were amazing. They handled everything incredibly well. We didn't have to wait long for a table. We did have to wait a few extra minutes for the waitress to get to us, but it was well worth the wait. She was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. My wife had the lasagna and I had pasta with meatballs. The Caesar salad was perfect. The lasagna was loaded with lean beef and was the perfect firmness with no watery runoff from the cheese. The pasta (spaghetti) and meat sauce was also superb. I think if they narrowed down their menu and took certain things off, they would easily be a 5 start review. My 10 year old son "this is really good" speaking of the Sausage pizza- not exactly like back in Chicago the way I like it- but it's good nonetheless. Oh my goodness I had a great meal here while on vacation! My husband and I got there at a good time and thankfully got a table, but there was a wait for those behind us. We shared the garlic knots and that could have been our whole dinner! So yummy! We then got just a cheese pizza which was great and shared a huge portion of zeppoli's which of course we couldn't finish. The food was great, but the service was really fantastic. We ordered on line and picked up a gluten free and regular medium today and both were ver good. They were ready upon arrival and fresh and hot! The sauce is tasty and flavorful. Called to ask some questions about their menu and Tony was amazing and so personable on the phone. He was so ready to please us with our order and accommodate us in any way. We ordered a large Caprese pizza, 2 orders of garlic parmesan wings and a Cesar salad. We asked that the wings be well done and finally someone knows what that means. They were just perfect!
