I was so happy that Papa Vito's was still open when we returned to Cocoa Beach! They have the "real deal" Italian. We have had the pizza and the spaghetti from different times. We even had pizza delivered to the pool at our hotel. People kept asking where we got it from because it smells so delicious! It is truly an amazing experience!! The staff is excellent too! Food was absolute slop. Im Italian and have worked in real pizza places and eaten real Pizza. They claim that everything is fresh and that it's secret recipes when everything tastes like it comes out of a can. I mean walk into the place you can see the kitchen there's no way that they can even produce fresh ingredients. Pizza is dry taste horrible, and on top of that the Philly cheese steak if that's what you even want to call that imitation meat is an embarrassment and made my stomach hurt for hours, would never recommend this place to anybody just ordered Domino's or Pizza Hut if you want trash food, you're honestly better off. read more

We stopped by Papa Vito's after hearing it was the go to pizza spot for locals in Cocoa Beach, known for its award winning pies and out of this world garlic knots. The place definitely has that laid back, local charm and a steady flow of regulars, which gave us high hopes walking in. Considering every table was taken and full we got lucky to snack one of the last open tables available upon walking in. To be honest, the garlic knots didn't quite live up to the hype for me. They were decent, but I was expecting something a bit more memorable based on the buzz. That said, the rest of the meal definitely made up for it. We ordered a salad that was super fresh and flavorful, a great starter. The pizza was also solid, crisp crust, good sauce-to-cheese ratio, and generous toppings. We got the hit man Dan pizza. We were here in Cape Canaveral on vacation and found a surprising food establishment. The food was excellent (lasagna and garlic shimp with Vodka sauce on Penne). They started us with garlic knots with marinara and an oversized side salad (bacon blue cheese dressing is awesome). The server was positive, very knowledgeable and attentive. Great job Jennifer! Hate to do this, but I gave management (owner) the opportunity to right a wrong and he failed. Went to order a white seafood pizza in which I have got in the past. Long story short, I was told they cannot do it because it's a code violation. (Which is a lie). So I said "Scratch that whole order then. Let me get a large Margarita Pizza, with double bacon and Ricotta sauce". Note: Every other pizza place I ordered from states a Margarita already comes with extra cheese, and the 25 or so I have eaten, are with red sauce. Shame on me for not checking before I left. Got home and (30 minute drive) and found that it was a "white pizza" and looked like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree of pizzas as pictured. I called two days later because they were closed the next day (Monday). Received a call from the owner. Explained to him it wasn't the pizza I wanted, and even by the standards of a (white) margarita pizza, the sauce, ricotta, and cheese were light. Bacon was okay. Ultimately it was a very dry pizza and probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten, but was really hungry and ate the center parts. Going back and forth with the owner, he stated that he personally checked the pizza himself and thought it looked delicious. Also stated he no longer offers the seafood because it would be too much for the toppings (the truth vs the lie I was given.) Not sure how he checked it, because I didn't see him in the kitchen when it came out. This was a $38.00 pizza. ($45.00 with tip). I was getting nowhere with the owner on this. I didn't want my money back, but just a properly made replacement. So now I have to give a bad review. read more

Best meal we've had in our 3 days in Cocoa Beach. Service by Theresa was wonderful, as she made sure we had full drinks, dips, and even enjoyed my stupid jokes. This is one of the only places in the area that does takeout slices, especially at night. There was not a wide variety of slices to choose from, so I got one cheese and one everything. In 2018 my sister and I visited Cocoa Beach for the first time, on a girls trip from Ohio. We had Papa Vito's by happenstance and ended up having it again that week before we left from our trip. We couldn't get over how incredibly fresh everything was. A year later, we brought back my mom and did a girls trip with her. One of the main reasons for coming back was Papa Vito's. Our mother shared our bliss and we now have a yearly trip to Cocoa Beach. Every year we have Papa Vito's at least twice. Everything is homemade and delicious. My family lives in Ohio and I live in Texas and it's still our favorite Italian spot in both states. The atmosphere feels local, not touristy. The staff is incredibly helpful. Their garlic knots are unmatched, even the ranch dressing is homemade! We have stickers, and shirts. We are diehard Papas Vito's people. We talk about it all year round. If you are on vacation, or driving through to your destination, do yourself a favor and stop here. read more

Honest review: this place tastes like a school cafeteria. Quick, cheap ingredients, mass produced. The pasta sauce were somehow less flavorful than a store bought can of sauce. We got the Alfredo and four cheese ravioli. The ranch was ranch flavored water. The pizza was bland, and it was like they did their best to not spread out the toppings. Parking is absolutely terrible. The restaurant is very small and felt very cramped. Granted, every table had people seated but still felt jammed in. Didn't start off very good as we found ants in the pepper flakes jar. Took it to the bar and got an oh, oh well reaction. The server was fine. The pizza was as well. If anyone has been to Garibaldi's, this was just a slight thicker crust version of that. read more
