I met a cool guy was said he was in Military stationed on the same ship as me. It's cool that his mom works here as well. He loved the ranch allot he ordered a full pint. I really loved the way that the restaurant is decorated. However, it just was not our type of menu offering compared to the one that was near us in PB. I did enjoy my pizza fries but my husband's Stromboli was just a bit too greasy and caused a stomach ache for him. Since it's so far from where we live it probably won't be somewhere we go back to. This is a great local spot. I love all the decor inside, and have been eating here for a couple years. Very affordable while tasting delicious. The workers here have always taken care of me as I used to work in the plaza. Service is always on point, and it's just a nice local spot that is very loved and been around a long time. Still one of my favorite places to have a nice meal. Always feels very friendly, the staff is always attentive, we like to go here without a rush, we know everything is prepared fresh and we will have to wait but that is the beauty of it, that we get to spend time together and we can really enjoy their garlic cheese bread, a nice serving of food and take some for next day to re-heat. My parents wanted to try a new lunch spot in their town of Melbourne. They chose WW Pizza. My parents both got pizza while I had a lasagna lunch special. The waitress did a good job. The food however was very average. The pizza had a tasteless sauce & cheese. The toppings on some of the slices were generous though. My lasagna came with a salad. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with lots of onions. The salad was very plain. My lasagna was average too. The sauce was kind of plain & the lasagna was not as good as most homemade. Not exactly a five star Italian place but they deserve a better rating than three stars

I am a fan of Wagon Wheel Pizza having eaten their food at the restaurant located on Palm Bay Rd. So when I heard there was another location on the corner of Lake Washington Rd. and Wickham Rd., I knew I had to check it out. Overall, the experience was a good one, but it did not stand out from other good Italian (or should I say Americanized Italian) restaurants. Upon entering, the decor is quite interesting as if a pub owner just went crazy in there. There are various knick-knacks and periphenalia hanging on the walls. This is necessarily not a bad thing but it might turn some people off. The day and time I came in was on Sunday right after church service so we had a big group to cater to. We also ordered a lot of food which includes pizza, calzones, and many other dishes. They were all really good and the price was decent, just under $10. The service was good too as our waitress constantly checked on us, keeping out drinks full, and suggesting what we should eat. As mentioned earlier, the experience was good but it does not stand out from other places. Usually for a four or five star rating from me, something has to stand out like the waiter or waitress going above-and-beyond in their job, the prices being really good for the food that is served, or the quality of the food going above-and-beyond too. Wagon Wheel Pizza did not exactly do that, but at least they do a good job for an initial visit. I will go back in again to see if my experience improves or if the good service was by happenstance. read more

I've eaten here quite a few times, and the food is always good. However, my last experience was a deal breaker. I ordered a pick up order on the phone. When I got there, I was not greeted for probably about 5 minutes despite there only being a few tables in there and several employees capable of servicing me. They failed to mention over the phone they couldn't take card payments at the moment. I had to improvise. This restaurant is operating in a completely different century. They forgot a few of the items I ordered as well. And the icing on the cake was that the employee flipping pizza dough was not wearing any gloves. I've been a life long customer of Wagon Wheel Pizza (Melbourne) since it was in the old Kmart plaza at Sarno Rd and Apollo Blvd, so I might be a bit biased, but I wanted to chip in my two cents on this local legend. I've sampled virtually every part of their menu, in both dining in and take out, for lunch and for dinner, and hands down this is the place you want to go for good comfort food! My personal favorites are: 1) Pizza Fries: the best cure for grumbling tummies and hangovers. French fries with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni smothered all over them, served with ranch dipping sauce! You can't go wrong with this as an appetizer or as a stand alone snack! 2) Strombolis: by far the best and most customizable strombolis on the Space Coast! You want plain with just sausage? Done! You want it filled with every meat they got available? Done! Veggie? No problem! Served with delicious marinara sauce or ranch! 3) Salads: whether you get a side salad or a full chef salad, they're always fresh and tasty! Served with any of the dressing (my personal favorite is their house dressing), it'll compliment your main course nicely! 4) Pizzas: I can't say enough, except get a whole pie and enjoy it fresh! Always a delight! The dine-in service is always prompt and polite and they keep your drink cold and full! If you go in, look at and laugh at the Spaghetti Baby hanging up on the back wall, sit down and enjoy a wonderful meal! My only criticism: the beer and wine selection is a bit limited, and they have to share parking with other restaurants in a small plaza. Other than that, I love to go here! She put the phone down on the counter (not on hold as I could hear everything) and checked out a couple of customers and then left me hanging. I sat there for 10 minutes waiting and I was curious how long it would take them to get back to me. But after 10 minutes, I had enough and hung up. read more

Pizza came out HOT! Calzone was loaded with meats. We picked it up, we live approx 10 minutes from the place, by the time we got home both were soaked with grease. Normally I'm not a "pat off the extra grease" but couldn't pick it up without a stream of grease rolling off of the slice. The wagon wheel on Wickham and Lake Washington (the publix plaza), is a regular stop for me after work...a slice and a beer takes the edge off the day... ... there is a pizza guy there, Jeremy, he is the guy, I have learned that... the other guys aren't bad, but Jeremy gets it right every time... ... My review is based on customer service, not the food. We ordered delivery. When our order arrived, one entree was missing and the sub was meatball instead of Chicken Milanese. I called the restaurant, and the young lady who answered remembered my order. When I explained the problem she told me she trouble understanding Grubhub so she did the best she could. I wanted to know if they were going to correct the order and she no, she was sorry, but I would have to deal with Grubhub. I then spoke to a manager who only apologized but said there was nothing he could do. This is a shame because it was one of the best meatball subs we have ever had and the spaghetti and meatballs were delicious. Grubhub did refund me for the order. We have been here before for lunch..it was good..pizza/salad and a drink for $7.50..can't beat that . But tonight we were here for dinner..super busy..so service was slow ..waitress was overwhelmed you could tell.
