Here's everything you need to know about this place! Location - located on the pedestian area of Corso Como. Seating - both indoor and outdoor Menu - varied with options for vegetarians; including salads, soup, pasta, and of course pizza. This was my favorite pizza in Italy as I prefer the thick fluffy crust instead of the thin, soggy crust that you get most places. It also serves the pizzas by the slice in three sizes - half (for margherita only), regular, and extra large. I ordered the soup which was delicious and a half slice of margherita and could barely finish it. Everyone liked what they ordered, including the calamari with prawns. Pricing - very good compared to other restaurants. We were surprised at the prices given the quality and the amount of food. Service - in general, the service industry folk in Milan do not speak as much English as they do in other cities in Italy (like Rome, Florence, Sorrento, etc). They typically find the one server who does speak English and assign him/her to your table. That's what they did for us here, and we appreciated the effort. There were times we had to point to items on the menu (which is in English and Italian) so he knew what we wanted but he was very attentive and friendly. Tip - get there early in the evening as the place gets packed. Had we arrived by 7:30pm, we would have had to wait for a table for six. read more

Deep crust pizza with great flavors, was recommended by our taxi driver. They sell pizza by the slice which is fantastic, and one slice is really filling, lots of pigeons in the eating area outside and it's more expensive to sit outside than inside. Odd. Mentre aspettiamo vediamo come lavorano al forno e mi ricordano un po' spontini, anche gli odori sono simili. Great customer service and food! This is located next to the arco e caselli di porta garibaldi. Nice and homey spot with a welcoming atmosphere. I did have a weird experience with a patron who may be a regular there, he was taking pictures of everyone, including the servers and the food. Not including that in my review rating since he was a wildcard haha. But was interesting to have him attempt to take the perfect shot of everything and had the servers take away his food and bring it back with a smile or something of that manner. It was quite humorous really and had a laugh with other confused patrons. Anywho! I ordered the lasagna which comes on a hot plate, super good!! Also I was highly recommended the tiramisu and I'm glad I was. It was super light, fluffy, and delicious! Best I've had! I definitely recommend coming here. Grazie! read more

I was invited to lunch in the Garibaldi F.S. Area today and we ended up at the Pizzeria Di Porto Garibaldi. This place has an old-time feel with pictures and wooden tables from the period. The staff seemed to have been there a long time - just like a big family. We weren't big eaters so I asked for a plate of grilled vegetables. This came out with melanzane, zuchini and red & yellow peppers. The veggies needed some olive oil and salt to finish the dish. For our main dish, we each got risotto with Chestnuts and speck. The rice was very al dente; another minute or two of cooking would have been good. Luckily we arrived before 1:00 pm because this pizzeria is packed with patrons. I think next time I will try their pizza. It most likely is the star on the menu. Gotta come back. You should try it too! read more

A co-worker who lives nearby recommended this restaurant. Wow, this is some good pizza! This is a thick crust pizza served by the slice. One slice was too much for me (they do sell a 1/2 slice) and the price was excellent. The restaurant has a full menu, but I came for the pizza. Delicious pizza! This restaurant was the most crowded on the Corso Como strip this past Saturday night, so I decided to check it out. I had just the plain margherita pizza, which was extra cheesy (in a good way). I also tried the calamari, which was pretty tasty, although I wish it came with some kind of aioli/dipping sauce. But maybe that's an American thing. Service was good, faster than most other restaurants I've been to in Milan, especially on a busy Saturday night. Also, their house white wine is tasty and cheap! If you like the tick pizza this is one of the best options in Milan but there is also a wide selection of appetizers and first courses. With good weather is quite enjoyable to dine outside as Corso Como is a pedestrian only zone. read more

This must be my favorite pizza place in Milan. We used to go there quite often when I was a child, and I'm happy to see that not much has changed since then. I don't live in Milan anymore, but every time I am back home, I make a point of going to this place as much as I can. FWIW, if you're into sweets, their tiramisu is to die for. read more
