So I made my obligatory "3 visit" rule (I try out a place 3x times before writing a bad review; after all, everyone is entitled to have a bad day, right?). So.... I'm happy to report NOW that the place was clean, the staff were pleasant and friendly, and the pizza was GREAT. As an Italian heritage family this has been a source of pride. However over the past couple of years we have taken to trusting the team at Carmelina's to provide food for a number of events. Yesterday was the largest as we catered an engagement party for over 130 people at the Masury in Center Moriches. The food was top notch (chicken parm, eggplant rollatini, chicken franchese, meatballs and garlic knots to go with homemade lasagna and sausage). I do have a lot of positive childhood memories from eating here as a kid. Stopped coming around 2011 due to the lack of gluten free options, and the owner's horrible attitude.
