Upon our arrival to Montreal there were several things working against us: rainy conditions, lack of proper clothing with two of us forgetting garments, and then that this place opening at 11:30. We made good time coming in so we were a half hour ahead and had to take shelter in the adjacent Parklet to wait. In a way it was good so we could plan getting to a clothing shop. I always forget something on a trip. We came in at 11:31 and were their first table of the day. ***THEY DO SPEAK ENGLISH SO START OUT BY ASKING OR LETTING SOMEONE KNOW*** I ordered a Diet Pepsi to start things. The DP here is way different than the USA version to the worse - sweetener is different in them. We ordered three pizzas after being told they were more of an individual size and 4 slices. We got two margheritas and one pepperoni. Upon first blush - the pizzas looked half done - the sauce was the main dressing, with the cheese slices under the sauce in some places on top in others. But pizza is pizza right? The margherita did not have basil on top as Vog pointed out. The sauce does have a zing to it and the crust had a nice char to the under carriage. The pepperoni was different - pepperoni under the cheese. The pepperoni is more of a breakfast sauce type - pink in color rather than the usual red. I really liked the pepperoni - but overall the pizza was again underwhelming. This may have been one of my worst showing on the road in planning and choosing places to eat and was somewhat embarrassing for me given my track record in being able to deliver peak performance on command. Shoutout to my research saying this was the best in town - I should have known. May be good for locals as a staple - but for us, was just simply "Meh."

The food was delicious. Great pizzas! Only negative is the noise level. It's practically unbearable. But the service was quick.

Busy lunch rush and they serve great coffee.

My friend was raving about this place and how amazing it was. So, when in Montréal you might as well try it out. Staff were fast and speak both English and French, and we were quickly seated. Menu however is only in Italian and French, so brush up on your language skills, but you can ask for help too. This place is not licensed, so bring your own wine. They have a cool wine chiller that chills white wine instantly, cool! We tried the sausage appetizer, pretty yummy especially when you soak up the herbs and olive oils with the bread they gave you. We all ordered pizza and it was a traditional thin crust pizza. Not bad pizza, crust could use more work or baked longer. I don't think it was a wood burning oven, and not sure if they make the crust in house, as it tasted a little commercial. Toppings were great and fresh, especially since Jean Talon Marche is around the corner. Honestly, I've had better pizza but I'll give this Montreal institution a solid 3 out of 5.

A good solid entry in the Little Italy restaurant scene. Food is good, not great, and service is efficient but can be a little brusque. Prices are high for what it is. The pizzas are small but pricey, the pasta portions are small but pricey also.

One of the best pizzas in the city, the pasta was just as good. Great service and ambiance. Well worth going to.

Pizza was really good. SPAGHETTI AGLIO E OLIO, we split and it was equally good. Nice loud Italian place where the service is spot on.

I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.

I had researched it beforehand, and with all the excellent reviews and its prime location, I booked a table for 8. Let me tell you, it is one of THE best restaurants we've dined at here in Montreal. Location: It is nestled on the heart of Old Montreal- one of the prettiest parts of the city. Parking spots are found on the street- but be careful as this touristy part is notorious for giving out tickets. The best is to park in the science center garage close by - it's a bit pricy for $35 to park but you will not lose patience scavenging for a spot! The walk is also nice too. The service: We immediately were greeted by a hostess and seated at our table. We had a friendly waiter who provided great suggestions and pairings. He made sure to check on us through our dinner which we really appreciated. Food: Now the best part... the food was delicious!! We had a few appetizers to start: crispy calamari, arancini and a Caesar salad. They pride on their pizza being "authentic" Italian and after taking one bite, you can say yes it is! The crust is cooked to perfection, and they have many selection- we chose a classic margarita for the kids - and salame for the adults. Both were gobbled up quickly! Finally, we had said it was for a birthday celebration. And they brought out two beautiful dessert pizzas!!! I've NEVER tried anything like that before. They were absolutely delicious. Not only did we get one, but TWO which was more then enough for each member in our group to have one (and in my kids case, two or three haha). It was a major highlight to the night! So I definitely recommend coming here to celebrate special occasions as it will leave a memorable mark for you and each guest. I will definitely be back again soon!!!
