    Spaghetti with duck ragout.

Typical pizza. Gnocchi was decent. Duck ragout spaghetti was okay. Not strong flavors with anything. Our dinner for 5 came out in pieces. We had to ask twice to get our water. Then 4 got served and we had to ask for the 5th dish. Then had to ask for the grilled vegetables. Then had to to ask for the salad (which came last). There is a €2 service charge to sit here. So we are taking our time Leaving and enjoying a free high school choir performance and free WiFi.

Loved this spot in Verona. Great pizzas and one of the few places I found with gluten free pasta. The gelato is also wonderful. Service was very nice and efficient. It is lovely to sit outside in the piazza and people watch.

Bigoli pasta with duck and truffles

Simply perfect! We enjoyed a fabulous dinner dining alfresco on the outdoor patio while enjoying the views of the lovely town square. Our waiter was perfectly attentive, and quite capable at managing the numerous tables he had control of! I ordered Bigoli duck with truffles - oh my! It was fantastic! Lots of flavor! I ate every last bite! My mother enjoyed a pasta dish with mussels, clams and a large prawn on top. Her tomato sauce was clearly house-made, as you would expect, but it was so light and flavorful that I wish I had some to ship back to the states! We also had the Caprese salad which was a nice, fresh starter.

When I tell you that I ate an entire pizza - by myself - after snapping "I'm not even hungry!" to…read moremy husband before walking into this restaurant, I hope you understand how impressive the food here is. This was our first restaurant meal after landing in Verona and, as it turned out, the only restaurant we visited that wasn't recommended by our awesome food tour guide Francesca. The restaurant was busy when we walked in late on a Thursday night. I had thought we were going to place an order to take back to our hotel - because, in addition to "not being hungry", I also had no desire to be in a public setting (jet lag is real, y'all.) But my husband asked for a table for two and next thing I knew we were seated next to the counter that showed off the kitchen. I thought we were ordering one pizza to share (remember, not hungry) so I about fell out of my chair when my husband said, "I'm going to get the Salciccia e Parmigiano, what are you going to have?" After a deep breath in through my nose, out through my nose, I decided the Margherita sounded light enough to not wreck my already taxed body. Then of course he mentioned wine. But of course why not red wine after 10 pm on a Thursday following a long travel day to another city, right? Two glasses of house red, coming right up! I'm being a brat, but the pizzas were very tasty. The red wine was decent - I wasn't expecting - and we did not get - anything fantastic, but it was superbly drinkable and rounded out our meal. Because we were in Verona, we did as the Veronese did and ate our pizzas with fork and knife. The dough was fresh and chewy, the toppings bright and balanced. I had told my husband to be prepared to help me finish the pizza, and then promptly demolished the serving. Well, almost the entire serving; he did end up eating one slice of mine on top of his own. His pizza, if you're wondering, was topped with sausage and tomatoes, and loaded up on cheese, which, really, is all he's looking for in a pizza. He said he liked mine, but as it was a vegetarian selection, it wasn't something he'd normally order for himself. Fair enough. We still talk about the pizza to this day, mostly because he's still in shock that I (practically) crushed mine after protesting a meal at all. I did find that I like pizza from Verona a whole lot more than pizza from the U.S.

The pizza was delicious and very well priced. Heck, better than a dominoes deal in the states and MUCH better tasting. Nice, friendly service. A great introduction to Italy.

This is simply the best Pizza in all of Verona. Quite a claim I know, but whilst in Verona we ate a…read morelot of pizza from lots of different pizzerias this is the only place that we went back to because it was so good. The owners were fantastic and walked us through the menu and gave great recommendations. They also cater for the more health conscious with vegan pizzas. in fact, one thing we noticed whilst in Verona was that lots of restaurants catered for vegetarians and vegans and there were lots of choices, but this did not apply to me as I eat meat! The restaurant is different from other pizza takeaway shops as you choose various rectangular slices of pizza rather than buy just one large round pizza. The slices are very generous and four slices is more than enough as the pizza bases thick and fluffy and more of a focaccia base. Also, the price of your food is dependent on the weight of the food. For example if you buy a heavy slice of pizza with lots of ingredients cheeses truffles et cetera it weighs more than a standard margarita slice. The toppings were amazing and incredibly varied. in fact the toppings on offer were nothing like I had experienced in any pizzeria anywhere in the world. My particular favourite was the sausage with smoked cheese, margarita pizza with curried potato, and the salami pizza was amazing. My girlfriend had a pizza tasted just like bruschetta. If you are in Verona and do you fancy pizza this is the place for you!!
