Then there is another place near Audubon Park that I go to then there is my Spanish Fort location in Alabama that I go to. Love the coffee, usually get a latte. The granita is my weakness. It's tradition that I stop and grab muffins for work when I work the weekend, about once every 3 months. My work family are HUGE fans of the blueberry muffin. I am partial to the strawberry croissant. Staff is always so nice and accommodating. I am very appreciative of the early am hours as well. read more

So, initially this place was given a 1 star. Why did I change it to 5 stars?! Because not only did the business reach out to me on Yelp, but they also responded to me via email. PJ's customer service went above and beyond to find out what happened during my experience in January, to ensure that the PJ's site in Spanish Fort was notified of the concerns, and to resolve the issue so that everyone who visits PJ's has a very positive experience. In addition, the thing I was most disappointed about (not being able to try their coffee) was resolved! I received these in the mail and will grind them up this weekend and try! CANNOT WAIT! Very excited to try PJ's coffee.....my motivation for going to this location while traveling to begin with! Update April 2023: This coffee is delicious! Did not disappoint! Stopped by for a caffeine pick me up on our drive back to Mobile. I ordered a cold brew coffee, and it was fantastic! Not a hint of bitterness, smooth to the last sip. My mom and sister both got lattes, which they commented were heavy on the syrups and would've been too sweet, luckily they asked for an extra shot if espresso in each drink and that helped balance it out. Not my favorite coffeeshop, but good enough to return to whenever I'm back in the area. read more

Service was good. She was helpful, it was my first time there. Got a bagel with cream cheese and a caramel cold crème coffee., it was supposed to be like an iced caramel macchiato. First of all presentation was beautiful, I wish I had remembered pics. The inside was so cozy. Worst service! I bought a Cuban sandwich for $10 and took one bite out of it, it was absolutely nasty. I asked the cashier if I could get a muffin instead of the sandwich and he continued to ring me up for a muffin. I'm sorry but if your food is awful and in return ask to get a $3 muffin, you should just give the customer the flipping muffin. I will never eat here or recommend this place ever again. read more

I have been coming to this Pjs for about 5 months now and the coffee has been great but every time I get food it is wrong. I usually let it slide because I like the coffee. But this time was not cool. I'm a vegetarian.. so I asked could I have an egg and cheese biscuit. Well the menu says bacon egg and cheese, I asked "can I have that with no bacon?" They responded "yes sure." I get my biscuits and they warmed the sandwiches and just pulled the bacon off. I know some of you may say.. "hey you said no bacon " but to vegetarians it's still on there especially when that's the only thing you taste when you bite into it. I'm disappointed because I can't remember the last time I ate pork or grease from it. Heck I don't even eat pizza that was in the same box with pizza that has meat on it. 9 times out of 10 the drive through order is wrong. If it's not that the wait is long. They guilt tip you handing you the credit card machine saying "it's going to ask you some questions" (Note that no one asks for a tip if you pay cash). Most of the time I'll add something, every time though I'm thinking "but why, the store should be paying them more/enough". Today I didn't tip anything and get this, the worker rolled her eyes at me after she handed me the drinks. I've come here through the years when I'm on this side of town, but this is it for me. This is the 4th time i've ever been to a PJS and all 4x it has been this location. 3/4x i've gone i have went inside . My experience personally is always very poor when it comes to customer service here . the staff is not friendly , welcoming , or greets you . I had a BOGO coupon , after ordering the girl said nothing ... i stood there for a good 5 minutes until i noticed my drinks were up the counter . she didn't call my name or say anything.. i was standing there , BECAUSE I STILL NEEDED TO PAY!!! They all just looked around and stared . said nothing . Never asked if i needed anything or said my drinks were ready etc . The other lady was sitting on the drive thru window taking selfies . Just an overall poor experience and this isn't the first time . The drinks are always made well, i hope the customer service can improve . read more

Honestly a great place! I went with my friends yesterday and everyone was working hard and they were very kind. The price wasn't too expensive as the coffee was very good. I got the frozen hot chocolate however they were out of a few ingredients but I understand seeing the circumstances we are currently in. The coffee however was delicious and the girl who talked to me about the missing ingredients was very proficient. The only real issue that we had was that when we ordered coffee, we got ours after some people who ordered after us but it was fine because we understood they were busy. Besides that, the place was clean, friendly and the coffee was DELICIOUS! Definitely coming back! read more

Excellent coffee place! Today I got the mocha velvet with no whipped cream and skim milk. The lady was very nice to explain that while they cannot make a completely sugar free drink, they can greatly reduce it. I am so happy PJ's has opened here as Starbucks has completely cut out their sugar free mocha frappachino which has been disappointing. We also got a club sandwich combo and it was delicious! The employees have been extremely nice both times I have visited this particular site. read more

Anybody that had beignet in New Orleans must wonder, where the owners of this coffee shop got the idea to call those tiny little squares beignet. They are a joke and disgrace to this wonderful NO doughnut. We looked so forward to try them out after the P'C journal published their arrival. The young "manager" said we would get complementary coffee (since it was Nat. Coffee Day)? with any bakery order. We paid about $7.00 with tip. sat down with our coffees and waited patiently for our beignets - which never came. Eventually I inquired about them and they acted surprised "You ordered beignets????" So than he ask me if we still want them. Looking sideways into their display case and seeing those 3 tiny dough squares labeled BEIGNET I declined and we walked out - never to come back. Needless to say, but most our friends already know about it now. Now we really mis the beignet we used to get at Joe Patty's frontdoor. read more

Every time I think about giving them a try something happens. I go inside to make sure my order is correct and I still get rudeness (especially the funky colored hair girl). First off they are more worried about talking to each other then the customer and when you are sitting inside all hear is them making fun of the customer that just left. Then they seem to always be out of the milk or syrup I like. I will never go back, I have tried 3 different times to give it a chance and every time I am disappointed! Maybe hire older people to run your business and you would not get the childishness. read more

My wife and I came in today (September 4, 2021) and ordered a XL Green Tea and an XL Green Tea Mojito at the inside counter at 8:48 AM. About 15 minutes later they called my wife's name and she went up to the counter to get her drink - but mine was not up. I waited about 5 more minutes before I went up and asked about my drink. I was told "Sorry, I should have told you... We are out of green tea and making more. It will be about 7 minutes..." Now normally I would be a little more patient but as we were 20+ minutes into this from when we paid - and had an appointment at 9:30 we were out of time. My issue is I personally watched them slinging green teas out the drive thru window to cars that had not been in line when we ordered. In fact, multiple times after we ordered I saw green tea based products being handed out. So I guess if you want prompt service for your order you are only important if you go through the drive thru??? They did reimburse me for my drink but that's not the point. Take care of your orders in process before taking and filling the ones that came after - and stop giving 80% attention to the drive thru and 20% to your dine in customers! read more
