I promptly said NOPE have a nice day Really why show up for an estimate of a project that is around 15 zones and not have time to give an estimate. I didnt mind measuring now and going over the needs and write the estimate later. but nope Thank you for wasting my time mid Saturday afternoon. BULL***T! Nothing could be futher from the truth. Not only did I pay him every penny (have all the venmo receipts to prove it), but I am the one to had to chase him to catch up. Cleanup was a 2-part job, weeks apart. Rather than paying 50% each time, he asked that when I paid for the first half, that I advance money toward the 2nd half. Then, he didn't want to do the work. His behavior was very erratic the entire time. That combined with desperation for money makes me suspect a drug problem. He would message me and ask when I was going to pay him and I'd have to send him the screen shot reminding him that I paid him when he was here! As for all the sudden 5-star reviews: As of today, there are ones such as someone from Buffalo, NY with 3 reviews. Someone from Spokane, WA who has no other reviews, etc. Bernardo has trouble showing up to Queens (which is where he lives). After dealing with a hard to navigate website and having to email for guidance twice I was finally able to get a quote. Then I was emailed and told that they had to drive by my home to see it because it is new and not on Google maps street view. This resulted in a higher quote. I accepted this. They failed to show up when scheduled and instead I got an email suggesting I change to weekly service for "efficiency ". When I didn't reply same day I got a follow up email suggesting I try someone else. Don't recommend.
